Chapter #81

I was thinking that what should I do that I will take her back. There is nothing which I can do? there is nothing which I can do. There was a countless thoughts which was coming in my mind.

May be she is angry over me, but how archard trap her I don't get the point? why she accept him as his mate.

I was thinking that may be second meeting can change her mind but where would I meet her. There is a lot of things which was going in my mind. I was planning but at a moment, As I lay there on the bed, lost in thought, I heard a knock on the door. I sat up, wondering who it could be, and saw my manager Albert enter the room.

" Hello boss!"

" Hello boss how are you?"

" I'm fine like you? tell me what happened? "

"Boss, I have some good news," he said, holding up an invitation card. "There's a party tonight from Blue Lunar Pack, and I got us an invitation. I hope that Miss Aisling will come with Archard."

" Don't tell me are you serious! "

" Yes boss here is the invitation card. "

I quickly take it from his hand, and thought now there is a. chance that I will definitely get her back. Aisling you are going to be mine soon. I will never leave you for my enemy. I'm coming back.

I smiled, feeling a surge of excitement. A party sounded like just what we needed after a long day of traveling. And the fact that Aisling and Archard would be there only made it better.

"I'm sure she'll love to come," I said, feeling a sense of anticipation building inside me. "What time is it?"

"It starts at 8 pm," Albert replied. "So we have a few hours to rest and get ready."

I nodded, feeling grateful for the chance to unwind and let loose. And who knows? Maybe tonight would be the night that I finally meet with archard in front of Aisling. I want to feel there reaction. I want to see them. I want to look them.

"Thanks, Albert," I said, feeling a sense of gratitude toward my manager. "I'll let Aisling know, and we'll be ready to go by 8."

As Albert left the room, I lay back down on the bed, feeling a sense of excitement building inside me. Tonight was going to be a night to remember. Tonight I will do anything to make it memorable.

ARCHARD ( POV  )

I watched her sleeping peacefully on the bed, her chest rising and falling with each breath. She looked so calm and serene, but I knew she was hiding something. Her brow was slightly furrowed, and her lips were pressed together. What was she dreaming about? What was troubling her?

I felt a surge of curiosity and concern. Should I peek into her dream? Maybe I could help her somehow, or at least understand her better. But I also felt a pang of guilt. Was it right to invade her privacy like that? Would she be angry if she found out?

I decided to leave her alone. She deserved some rest, and maybe she would tell me what was bothering her when she woke up. I gently kissed her forehead and tiptoed out of the room. As soon as I closed the door behind me, I saw my mother waiting for me in the hallway. I known that leaving her alone is good for her. She needs some time to heal. I don't known what happened to her but I have to wait until she perfectly gets fine and emotional gets strong. I don't known what happened to her but I can't force her right now. Still I don't have right on her, there is a just piece of paper which bond us. Yes there is a feeling of love but still I don't confess my love for her. I have no idea.

I walked downstairs and looked forward to servent for the meal. I was hangry since from last night I Known she will be hangry too. I saw mother was coming. I thought she is here to tell me that leave Aisling but when she speaks I went into shock.

"How is Aisling?" she asked, her voice full of worry.

"She's fine, mom. She's just sleeping," I lied, hoping she wouldn't notice my hesitation.

"Are you sure? She looked so pale and tired when she came home last night. Did something happen to her?"

I shook my head, avoiding her gaze. "No, nothing happened. She's just stressed out from work and House affair's I don't known what happened to her last night, that's all."

" What you think? what happened to her health. "

" Mother I'm concerned about it I don't know what should I do? "

My mother sighed and nodded. "I see. Well, let her sleep then. She needs it."

She gave me a hug and walked away, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I wondered what Aisling was dreaming about, and what secrets she was keeping from me. I hoped she would be okay, and that we could talk soon. I loved her more than anything, and I hated seeing her suffer. I was thinking that may be there is something which she is hiding from me? Why she is hiding it from me? I don't known what should I do.

I walked back to Asiling’s room, feeling conflicted. On one hand, I wanted to go to the party and see what it was like. On the other hand, I wanted to stay with Aisling and make sure she was okay. I loved her more than anything, and I hated seeing her suffer.

I opened the door and saw her lying on the bed, still asleep. She looked so pale and fragile, like a porcelain doll. Her hair was spread over the pillow, and her eyelashes cast long shadows on her cheeks. She was beautiful, but she also looked sad and scared.

I gently shook her shoulder and whispered her name.

“Aisling? Aisling, wake up. I have something to tell you.”

She didn’t respond. She just moaned softly and turned her head away from me.

I sighed and tried again.

“Aisling, please. Wake up. It’s important.”

She opened her eyes slightly and looked at me with a groggy expression.

“What is it?” she asked, her voice hoarse.

I smiled and kissed her forehead.

“Hey, sleepyhead. How are you feeling?”

She shrugged and closed her eyes again.

“Tired. Weak. Hungry.”

I frowned and stroked her hair.

“I’m sorry, baby. I wish I could make you feel better.”

She snuggled closer to me and wrapped her arms around my waist.

“You do make me feel better. You’re the only one who does.”

I felt a warm sensation in my chest and hugged her back.

“I love you, Aisling. You know that, right?”

She nodded and smiled faintly.

“I love you too, more than anything.”

I kissed her softly and held her for a while. Then I remembered what I had to tell her.

“Aisling, listen. There’s something I need to talk to you about.”

She opened her eyes again and looked at me curiously.

“What is it?”

I took a deep breath and showed her the card.

“It’s this. It’s an invitation to the blue lunar pack party of the council. They are celebrating the new moon and the peace treaty with the other packs. It’s a very prestigious event, and I’m one of the honored guests.”

She blinked and took the card from me. She read it carefully and then looked at me with a surprised expression.

“Wow. This is amazing. You’re going to the party?”

I nodded and bit my lip.

“Yeah. I have to go. It’s not an option. It’s an order from the council.”

She frowned and handed me back the card.

“Why? Why do they want you to go?”

I shrugged and sighed.

“I don’t know exactly. Maybe because I’m a blue lunar wolf, like you. You know how rare we are. Maybe they want to see us, or test us, or use us for something.”

She shivered and clutched my arm.

“That sounds scary.”

I nodded and kissed her cheek.

“It is scary. But don’t worry. I’ll be careful. And I’ll be back soon.”

She looked at me with a worried expression.

“When are you leaving?”

I checked the date on the card.

“Tonight.”

She gasped and tightened her grip on me.

" tonight? But that’s so soon!”

I nodded and hugged her.

“I know, baby. I know.”

I paused and tried to sound cheerful.

“But hey, maybe it won’t be so bad. Maybe it will be fun. Maybe I’ll meet some nice people there, or learn something new, or find some opportunities for us.”

She shook her head and buried her face in my chest.

“I don’t care about any of that. I just care about you.”

I smiled sadly and stroked her back.

“I know, baby. I know.”

I paused again and remembered what my mother had suggested.

“Hey, Asiling? Do you want to go outside for a while? Maybe get some sunlight? It might make you feel better.”

She lifted her head and looked at me with a doubtful expression. She knew it that she will be feeling good after going in sunlight. The sunlight always heal Alpha body but moonlight give it strength.

“Sunlight? Why?”

I shrugged and smiled.

“Because sunlight is good for werewolves, especially blue lunar ones like us. It boosts our energy and heals our wounds faster. My mom said so.”

She frowned and shook her head.

“No, thanks. I don’t like sunlight. It hurts my eyes and makes me feel hot and sweaty.”

She knew it that if she will go with me in the party than I will definitely questioned about last morning which was obvious. I want to known what happened to her why she gets so tired? why she is sad?

I chuckled and kissed her nose.

“Come on, baby. Don’t be stubborn. It won’t hurt you, I promise. It will help you, trust me.”

She sighed and looked at me with a resigned expression.

“Fine. If you insist but I don't want it.”

I grinned and kissed her again.

“I do insist.”

I got up from the bed and lifted her in my arms.

“Let’s go then.”

She wrapped her legs around my waist and rested her head on my shoulder.

“Where are we going?”

I walked to the balcony and opened the door.

“To the balcony. It’s the closest thing to outside we have.”

She groaned and closed her eyes.

“Great.”

I chuckled and carried her outside. I set her down on a chair and sat next to her. I looked at the sky and saw the sun shining brightly.

“See? It’s not so bad. It’s a beautiful day.”

She squinted and shielded her eyes with her hand.

“It’s too bright. And too hot.”

I rolled my eyes and took her hand.

“Stop complaining. You’ll get used to it.”

I lifted her hand and placed it on my chest.

“Feel that? That’s my heartbeat. It’s strong and steady, thanks to the sun.”

I moved her hand to my arm and flexed it.

“Feel that? That’s my muscle. It’s firm and powerful, thanks to the sun.”

I moved her hand to my face and kissed it.

“Feel that? That’s my lips. They’re soft and sweet, thanks to the sun.”

She smiled and opened her eyes.

“Okay, okay. I get it. The sun is good for you. And for me, I guess.”

She leaned in and kissed me softly.

“You’re good for me too, you know.”

I smiled and kissed her back.

“And you’re good for me too, baby.”

We cuddled on the balcony, enjoying the warmth of the sun and each other. We forgot about the party, the council, and everything else. We just focused on the present moment, and how much we loved each other.

I forget that she is not my real mate, I forget that she is just with me because of contract, we both forget that we are not belong to each other. We were so close that I want to spend rest of my life with her. I want to spend my whole life kissing her.

There is nothing which I can hold back, there is nothing which can sperate us, her eyes were speaking that she is in love with me and never want to leave me. There is a pleasure in her arms, there is a

peace in her arms, I never imagine that I will get a mate like her, I never imagine I will fall in love with her.

We were still on the balcony, holding each other, when my cellphone started ringing. I groaned and reached for it. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was from our union council. They were the local representatives of the blue lunar pack, and they had been very supportive of us since we joined them.

"Hello?" I answered, trying to sound polite.

"Hi, this is Hazel from the union council. How are you doing?"

hazel was a friendly and cheerful woman who had welcomed us warmly when we first met her. She was also very curious and nosy, always asking us questions about our lives and our abilities. She was the member of blue lunar pack. She was always with me in the tuff time when my father was establishing the union council for the peace of werewolf.

"I'm fine, thanks. How are you?"

"I'm good, thanks. Listen, I'm calling to ask you about the party. Are you going?"

I glanced at Aisling and saw her looking at me with a curious expression.

"Yes, I'm going. Why do you ask? it is obvious I'm upcoming leader of this council how can I miss it out."

" Great they also invited me you known that? "

"Oh, just wondering. You know, it's a big deal. The council doesn't invite just anyone to their parties. You must have impressed them somehow."

I shrugged and sighed.

"I guess so."

" So you are coming. "

" Yeah I'm coming but I don't known what should I wear, So, what are your plans for the party? Do you have a date? A suit? A gift?"

I blinked and frowned.

"A date? A suit? A gift?"

hazel laughed and clapped her hands.

"Yes, yes, yes! You need all of those things! It's a formal event, you know. You can't just show up in jeans and a t-shirt. And you can't go alone either. You need a date, someone who can accompany you and make you look good. And you need a gift, something to show your gratitude and respect to the council."

I felt overwhelmed and confused that how she think that I'm fool that I don't known how I will attend the council meetings

"Wow. I didn't know any! hazel you are thanks but you are forgetting that I'm the next alpha leader and my dad is currently working as a alpha leader. "

Hazel tutted and shook her head.

"Of course I knew that you are going to be alpha leader. I knew you are superior but I'm saying you have to impress everyone but you known that you have to come with your mate I mean Valentina as council appoint her as your mate"

I hesitated and looked at Aisling again. She was still watching me with a curious expression, but I also saw a hint of worry in her eyes.

"Um, thanks, But I don't think I need your help."

Hazel frowned and tilted her head.

"You don't? Why not?"

I cleared my throat and smiled.

"Because I already have a mate a suit, and a gift."

Hazel gasped and squealed.

"You do? Who? What? Where?"

I chuckled and kissed Aisling on the cheek.

"My date is Aisling, my mate and my love. My suit is in my closet, a simple but elegant black one that fits me well. And my gift is a painting that I made myself, a portrait of the council members in their wolf forms."

hazel was silent for a moment, then she clapped her hands again.

"Wow! That's amazing! You're amazing! Aisling is amazing! Your suit is amazing! Your gift is amazing! Everything is amazing! But you known that what council order was? "

I laughed and shook my head.

"Thanks, hazel, You're very kind but I don't need anyone else now I have my mate and now she will be my Luna forever."

"No, no, no! You're very kind! And very smart! And very talented! And very lucky! You have everything you need for the party! You're going to be the star of the night!"

I blushed and shrugged.

"I don't know about that."

"I do! Trust me! You're going to rock that party! And so is Aisling! She's going with you, right?"

I nodded and smiled.

"Of course she is. She's my mate. We go everywhere together."

Hazel squealed again.

"That's so sweet! That's so romantic! That's so perfect! You two are perfect for each other!"

I smiled and hugged Aisling closer to me.

"I think so too."

Aisling smiled back at me and kissed my neck.

"I love you."

I whispered in her ear.

"I love you too."

Hazel cleared her throat and interrupted us.

"Ahem. Sorry to interrupt your love fest, but I have to go now. I just wanted to check on you and make sure you were ready for the party. But it seems like you are more than ready. You are awesome!"

I chuckled and thanked her again.

"Thanks, hazel. You're awesome too."

"No problem. Anytime. Well, I'll see you at the party then. Bye!"

She hung up before I could say goodbye.

I looked at Aisling and saw her looking at me with a loving expression.

"So," she said softly. "You're taking me to the party?"

I nodded and kissed her softly.

"Yes, I am. If you want to go with me."

She nodded and kissed me back.

"Of course I do. I want to be with you. Always."

I smiled and kissed her again.

"Me too, baby. Me too."

We cuddled on the balcony, enjoying the warmth of the sun and each other. We forgot about the party, the council, and everything else. We just focused on the present moment, and how much we loved each other.

She was with me like my sword, she is with me like my strength, she was with me like love. I'm having a moment with her.

" So what you are wearing for tonight?"

" I have nothing to wear!"

"Ohh so we need to shop!"

" Ofcourse and you are coming with me my love!"

I start laughing on her that how romantically she is saying. She said, " Why are you smiling?"

" I don't known! but I guess I'm loving your romantic side."

She came to me and whispered, " you will love it. hahahaha"

We decided to go shopping for the party after we had lunch. We had ordered some pizza and salad from a nearby restaurant and ate it on the balcony, enjoying the view and the breeze. We talked about random things, like movies, books, music, and jokes. We avoided talking about serious things, like work, dreams, or fears. We just wanted to have some fun and relax.

After we finished eating, we cleaned up and went back to the bedroom. We cuddled on the bed for a while, kissing and caressing each other. We didn't go any further, though. We were both too tired and weak for that. We just enjoyed each other's presence and warmth.

Then I remembered the party and the card.

"Hey, Aisling?" I said softly.

She looked at me with a sleepy smile.

"Yes?"

I kissed her forehead and showed her the card.

"We have to go to this party tonight night, remember?"

She groaned and buried her face in my chest.

"Do we have to?"

I nodded and stroked her hair.

"Yes, we do. It's not an option. It's an order from the council."

She sighed and lifted her head.

"Fine. But I don't want to go."

I smiled and kissed her nose.

"I know, baby. I don't want to go either. But we have to."

She pouted and crossed her arms.

"Why? Why do they want us to go?"

I shrugged and sighed.

"I don't know exactly. Maybe because we're blue lunar wolves, like them. Maybe they want to see us, or test us, or use us for something."

She shivered and clutched my arm.

"That sounds scary."

I nodded and kissed her cheek.

"It is scary. But don't worry. I'll be careful. And I'll be back soon."

She looked at me with a worried expression.

"When are you leaving?"

I checked the date on the card.

"To night."

She gasped and tightened her grip on me.

"To night? But that's so soon!"

I nodded and hugged her.

"I know, baby. I know."

I paused and tried to sound cheerful.

"But hey, maybe it won't be so bad. Maybe it will be fun. Maybe we'll meet some nice people there, or learn something new, or find some opportunities for us."

She shook her head and buried her face in my chest.

"I don't care about any of that. I just care about you."

I smiled sadly and stroked her back.

"I know, baby. I know."

I paused again and remembered what my mother had suggested.

"Hey, Aisling? Do you want to go shopping for the party? Maybe find something nice to wear?"

She lifted her head and looked at me with a doubtful expression.

"Shopping? For the party?"

I nodded and smiled.

"Yeah. Why not? It might be fun. And it might make us feel better."

She frowned and shook her head.

"I don't like shopping. It's boring and tiring."

I chuckled and kissed her lips.

"Come on, baby. Don't be stubborn. It won't be boring or tiring, I promise. It will be exciting and refreshing."

She sighed and looked at me with a resigned expression.

"Fine. If you insist."

I grinned and kissed her again.

"I do insist."

I got up from the bed and pulled her up with me.

"Let's go then."

She wrapped her arms around my neck and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Where are we going?"

I walked to the closet and grabbed our jackets.

"To the mall. It's the closest thing to shopping we have."

She groaned and closed her eyes.

"Great."

I chuckled and carried her out of the bedroom. I walked down the stairs and saw my mother waiting for us in the living room.

"Hey, mom," I said, smiling.

My mother looked at us with a surprised expression.

"Hey, kids. Where are you going?"

I showed her the card and explained our plan.

"We're going shopping for the party tomorrow night. We need to find something nice to wear."

My mother nodded and smiled approvingly.

"That's a good idea. You should look your best for the council. They are very important people, you know."

I nodded and rolled my eyes.

"I know, mom. You've told me a thousand times."

My mother chuckled and waved her hand.

"Sorry, sorry. I'm just excited for you two. You're going to have a great time at the party."

Aisling snorted and muttered under her breath.

"Yeah, right."

My mother pretended not to hear her. I think she was accepting us but than she looked towards Aisling with negative expressions may be she is good in front of me.

"Here, take this number of my designer number and Buy yourselves something nice. And don't worry about anything else. I'll take care of everything here."

I took the money and thanked her gratefully.

"Thanks, mom. You're the best."

She smiled and hugged me.

"No problem, honey. Have fun."

She kissed Aisling on the cheek and hugged her too which was surprising for us. I don't think that she will be in the right path.

"And you too, sweetie. Have fun."

Aisling smiled and thanked her politely.

"Thanks, mom. You're very kind."

We said goodbye to my mother and walked out of the mansion. We hailed a cab and got in. We told the driver to take us to the mall.

We were on our way to shopping for the party.

And to facing our secrets.
