Diana climbed out of the bath and she walked to the bedroom. She took out some clothes and dressed Coco. She wore a robe over her naked body, wore Calhoun's slippers and left the chamber.
Calhoun heard the sound of her leaving and he sighed. Once again, it was just him and his mood. He relaxed in the water, closing his eyes, just like in old times. The water had turned cool now and that was when he enjoyed it even more. It helped to calm him down.
A while later, he heard the sound of the door opening and closing, and then locking. His eyes opened as he tried to listen for the sound of whoever had come in. Hearing no movement, he closed his eyes once again.
"It seems as if you don't need my help anymore." Came her soft voice. Calhoun opened his eyes and her bare foot came into his view. He looked up and when his eyes reached her thighs, he could already deduce that she was naked so he took his gaze straight to her face.
She had a half smile on her face and her eyes held so much passion, it made all the efforts to calm himself down go to waste instantly.
"Diana..." He called. "what about Coco?"
"Spending some time with Thomas would not hurt," Diana replied. She touched the water with her toe and she felt the cold. "It's cold."
"Come in and let's warm it up," Calhoun suggested. Diana blushed.
"Don't utter such naughty words aloud, King Calhoun. They are beneath you and unbefitting your title."
Calhoun rolled his eyes. "My title is signified by the crown. So when I don't have it on, it's also a sign that I'm simply Calhoun Montego."
"Simply," Diana repeated as she dipped herself in the chilling water. "There isn't anything simple about Calhoun Montego."
"How about just Calhoun?"
"Not even Cal," Diana replied.
Calhoun smirked. "Well then, I guess the simple life isn't for me then. Still, without the crown, I wish to be addressed without my title as king. Maybe being an Alpha doesn't require a crown-"
"Then shall I address you as Alpha Calhoun," Diana whispered. "My king, the alpha of the Wisteria pack."
"Your king?" Calhoun repeated. "Hmm, why, it sounds different, coming from you."
Diana placed her hand on his shoulder and slid it down to his wrist, and then his palm. Calhoun intertwined their fingers.
"See, perfect." He commented, raining their intertwined hands. "That means we are meant to be."
"Don't play games, Calhoun," Diana whispered. "I think I have learned to play better than you."
Calhoun shrugged. "I don't mind. If you would kiss me every day and then play me after, I would not mind."
"You have changed," Diana said. "I never actually believed that you, Calhoun Montego, the Alpha and King of the Wisteria pack, would ever have the ability to show or even feel any kind of soft emotions."
"I'm not that bad," Calhoun said. He grabbed her waist and pulled her close to his naked self. Diana refused to stare up at him.
"Please-"
"You don't know me that well, Diana," Calhoun said. "And maybe I expect you to know me a little better than others. And you judge me, just like they do."
"So maybe, it was never me who didn't love you, but you who didn't understand how I love differently."
"I know you well enough," Diana argued.
"Let's play a game, Diana." Calhoun suddenly said. He leaned in and pecked her cheeks, softly, he moved down from her cheeks to her shoulder. "If you answer a question right, you get a kiss. If not, I get a kiss."
"What makes you think that I want a kiss?" Diana demanded softly. She wanted it of course.
"Don't worry, it's anywhere you want to kiss," Calhoun added.
"Okay." Diana agrees.
"Now, first question. At what age did my parents die?" Calhoun asked.
Diana smirked. "At eighteen."
Calhoun was somewhat surprised that she got the answer right. Thankfully, he hadn't specified whose age he was talking about.
"Wrong." Calhoun chuckled.
"What?"
"I said wrong."
"How can it be wrong-?"
"Because my mother was thirty-seven and my father was forty when he died." He explained.
Diana was bewildered. "What the fuck?! How do you even expect me to know that?!"
He shrugged. "My kiss, baby girl."
Diana scowled. She kissed him on the cheeks and Calhoun smiled. That was wonderful.
"Now, next question. What do you think I have learned from my mother?"
"How to be cruel," Diana said.
"My mother was never cruel. She only knew how to handle people who liked to cross her." Calhoun explained again. Diana was starting to feel cheated. She leaned in and kissed him again.
"Third question. Who do I have the closest relationship with?"
Diana was silent. Who could she say? George? No. Felix? Evander? Not a chance. It could not be Thomas. His mother? She was dead. But he didn't specify too.
"Living or dead?" She asked.
Calhoun chuckled. "I see you have learned how to deal with me. Alright, let's say among the living. Because if we were to include the dead then I guess your answer would already be my mother."
"Hm. Among the living, I don't know. George? Or Felix?"
"Pick a side, Diana." Calhoun urged.
"Felix." She answered. She wouldn't want to remind him of the betrayal by the way.
"Hm, you're almost close. But you're still wrong." He said.
"Oh come off it. You just want me to keep kissing you-"
Calhoun shut her up with a kiss. It wasn't short or like the aggressive ones she had been sending to his cheeks, it was long, soft and sensual. Diana's eyes went closed and she grabbed his shoulders in a firm grip.
Calhoun did not close his eyes, he left them open and kept staring at her. He watched how her eyes had fluttered close and how deeply she had gotten into the kiss. It made him feel proud of himself.
Once she opened her mouth slightly, he slipped his tongue in and he could feel her fangs prick his tongue. She was losing her control and he liked it. He wanted to see what an uncontrollable Diana was like. Once she gave a little grunt, Calhoun felt satisfied. He tried to pull out from the kiss but Diana held him tighter.
"Diana-"
"Shhh. You started it." She whispered while still on him. "Don't try to pull away."
Calhoun decided to allow her to take the lead. Diana was relentless in her pursuit of pleasure. She wrapped her legs around his waist and Calhoun held her firmly. Her mouth was working on his and her hands were trying to cover as much part of his body as they could.
Calhoun felt his pleasure scale to the highest point where he could not hold it in anymore and he slowly guided his member to meet hers.
Diana felt her words shatter into different colours when she felt him enter. She moved her head back as she groaned aloud.
"Darling, be quiet," Calhoun whispered. "Don't let anyone walk in on us-"
"The door is locked, Cal." She whispered too. "Let's move to the bed."
Calhoun did not hesitate to climb out of the bath with Diana clung to his front like a baby monkey. He went straight to the bed and while he wanted to lay her, she refused.
"You lie." She ordered. Calhoun froze. What was this woman trying to do to him?
"Calhoun, don't delay, I can't hold on for so long." She whined. Calhoun quickly obeyed her and laid down with her sitting on him.
"What are you planning to do to me?" Calhoun whispered.
"Shut up and just feel. Don't do anything but feel." Diana said. Calhoun was eagerly waiting to feel what she had in store for him.
After an hour of intense pleasure, Diana finally fell to his side, panting as if she had just run a marathon race.
Calhoun was more than impressed. He wanted to know how she had learned all of that but at the same time, he didn't want to ask.
"Diana... Darling." Calhoun gasped. "That was too much."
"Shut up," Diana whispered. "Not a word about this."
"What? Don't you say that? How will I tell anyone about this intensely pleasurable experience?" Calhoun demanded. "You should know that I'm not a tattletale."
Diana smiled. "Good for you. Oh, I feel so spent and I want to just sleep."
"Go ahead, darling. I will step out to see if Felix and Evander have anything for me."
Diana nodded tiredly. "go ahead, I'll just sleep a little."
Calhoun rolled to where she lay and kissed her softly on the forehead. Diana giggled softly. Calhoun stood upright and walked into his closet. He picked out his trousers and shirt and wore them. He didn't wear any robe since he didn't plan on staying out long.
As he was about to leave, he remembered that she wasn't covered up so he went and covered her up. After that, he left the room. Once he entered the meeting chamber, he found Felix and Evander seated with red faces.
"What is the matter with you both?"
"Nothing, my lord. Welcome back." Felix said.
Calhoun nodded, unbothered. "What news have you brought for me today?"
"We came to inform you that every member of Simon's household and George's household has been taken."
"Taken," Calhoun repeated. "Taken to where?"
"Um, what he meant to say was that we have brought them and locked them in the dungeon." Evander clarified.
"Oh." Calhoun nodded. His mind wasn't exactly with them. He was thinking about his time with Diana and how he would have loved to stay in bed with her.
"My king," Felix called. "You seem carried away."
"Hm, yes." Calhoun agreed. "It's difficult to not be carried away when you have a wife as beautiful as Diana."
Their faces went even redder.
"I guessed right," Calhoun muttered. "You both have somehow snuck into my chamber, huh?"
"We didn't enter in, we swear!" Evander exclaimed.
"We couldn't even enter, we were just outside," Felix answered.
"I see." Calhoun hummed. "That's alright, just don't mention anything to Diana. She would get so mad if she found out that you both have an idea of our rendezvous."
They made the sign of zipped lips.
"Good. Now, show me to these new prisoners that we have newly captured." Calhoun said. "I wish to see them."
"Alright, let's go," Felix said, standing up. He and Evander led Calhoun out to the dungeon and he asked the guard to unlock the first cell.
"These are Simon's family members," Felix said. Then he looked around and paused. "Someone is missing."
Calhoun nodded. He had sensed the awkwardness the moment he entered. He saw a shadow come up from behind him.
"Looking for me?" A deep disgruntled voice came from behind him. Calhoun turned excitedly. "Hello, King Calhoun. We meet again."
"Again?" Felix whispered.
