"And you! Why are you so happy huh? You're lips are about to tear from so much smiling. I don't know if both you and Aiden are insulting me or what."
My shoulders shook by Olivia’s rants in life. I checked my phone to see any message from him. I saw two messages there.
Erato: I'm not telling you.
I pouted. I'm forcing him to tell me what he and daddy talked about.
Erato: And I thought two weeks will be just for us? Why are you thinking about other things?
I suppressed my smile. He was right again. It's just that it's hard for me to not think about other things. If to him it was all just a hoax, to me it wasn’t. This is the biggest scope for this year. This will call war or whatever. But as he said, as long as no one knows that I'll just focus on him.
Me: Hmmm. Sorry daddy.
I stick out my tongue. It was too late for me to realize that my message was wrong because I had already sent it. I typed another message to distract him.
Me: Will you still be busy for the next days? I wanna see you.
Olivia and I arrived at the new coffee shop at the crossing. We catch some things up and she also talks about how she gets busy helping his mommy. Their agency who's handling models is quiet big so it's normal that her profession will be in line to that as well. Then I just remembered to check my phone when Olivia went restroom break.
Erato: I'll meet your dad today. Maybe we'll meet the day after tomorrow.
I read his message with curiosity.
Me: Again? What are you going to talk about? About the campaign anyway?
Me: Alright. Where will we meet at the hotel again?
I bit my lip after sending that. I don’t know how sees my image anymore. It only took seconds for him to reply, and I was a little surprised by that.
Erato: No and no.
I raised a brow. I snorted and didn’t know what to reply to him. I typed and deleted messages. I ended up not replying to him. I almost throw away my cellphone when it rang and his name came out. I answered it quickly.
"Y-yes?"
I heard him sigh heavily. I sniffed and played with the cake in front of me. Why does his breathing sound so good?
"You didn't reply." His tone was cold.
"U-uhm, just saw it."
"Hmm,"
I fanned myself with my hands because of his simple humming. His voice reminded me the image of us cuddling on the bed and how he whispers to my ears with the same tone makes me so turned on just by thinking about it. Gosh, I miss him so much.
"S-so, uhm ... I'll see you after tomorrow." I voiced out after seconds.
I heard his deep breathing, he’s even slightly groaning which makes me think about what he’s doing and where he is right now.
"You know what I'll tell your father when I meet him?"
My forehead furrowed. "What?"
"Governor, your daughter calls me daddy too."
My jaw dropped. I saw Olivia getting near our table. I blinked my amusement away. I sighed heavily, I think my heart was about to come out because of his voice. His voice sounds so husky and brooding.
"W-what?" I chuckled awkwardly.
Olivia mouthed 'who's that?' when she sat down in front of me. I didn't answer her, I just stared at her.
"Call me that again. I want to hear you say it." He said.
The depth of his voice made me even more dizzy.
“I-I gotta go,” I said.
Because otherwise Olivia would be surprised at who I'm talking to. He breathed sexily.
"Uh-huh? Never mind then? I'll hear that once we see each other."
Oh my God! That seems like an even more wrong idea. It was as if I was struggling in my seat and my throat went dry. I just wanna ran into him and devour the fvck out of him. Why does he have to seduce me in this broad day light?
"See you then?" He said goodbye. Even just his voice, I can picture him smirking arrogantly.
Olivia stared at me boredly. I stared back at her. My lips parted as a help to breath out properly.
"Okay daddy, see you." I said with an almost hoarse voice.
Before I hung up the phone I heard him groan. My cheeks warmed as I turned off the call.
"Your father? Why?" Olivia asked.
I can't look at her. I shook my head while looking at the screen of my phone.
"No, just asking where I am." She sipped on her coffee.
Gladly, she buy that. A message appeared on my screen again. I clicked on it.
Erato: You’ll see once we meet.
I almost make my lips bubble gum by hiding too much of a smile. What kind of rupture is it? I laughed to myself.
"What's funny?" Olivia raised her brow.
Gosh, I almost forgot she's here. I shook my head and put down my phone. She looked at me suspiciously while I sipped on my coffee.
Waiting for that day to come makes me so impatient. So when that day came that he said we would meet my mind almost turned.
"I have some tea for you."
That was Olivia's immediate introduction to me when we met across from the business building. I almost ignored her because I was busy typing a message to Erato.
"What is it?"
"Savannah will be one of the guests this coming event."
I lift my gaze to her. She nodded her head.
"I heard from Aiden's past time. Aren't they from media club?"
My mind wandered hearing her name. I can still remember the picture of her and Erato in that party. Should I ask Erato about them?
"I heard she'll be one of the judges. I think the organization she holds is also looking for prospect candidates for pageants and such." She shrugged.
My eyes fell on the table. I didn't know what to think.
"Are you really okay now?" She asked me out of the blue.
I smiled lightly. "Don't mind me."
She snorted and shook his head. I glanced at my cellphone and my eyes widened at Erato's reply.
Erato: I am in the Research Complex. I had to meet up with my former professor to ask some things.
"You know! There's something you’re not telling me. You're always on your phone. Tell me honestly Jade-"
I stood up and hurriedly picked up my belongings.
"I'm sorry, Olivia. I have to go. I still have some things to pass on to my instructor." I bid my goodbye.
She looked at me confused. "What? It's our first day, what do you mean?"
"Bye!" I kissed her cheeks goodbye before I ran.
I can't believe he's here! He's here! Here's what he says we'll meet in a place I didn't expect. Though I'm a bit disappointed we're not meeting at the hotel. Gosh, what are these thoughts of mine?
I crossed the oval to get to the Research complex. There are also people who already know me and I don't pay much attention to them anymore. I texted him that I'm at the first floor. Right when I sent the message, an instructor greeted me.
"Ms. Fuentabella, what are you doing here?" she asked me.
"U-uhm ..." I didn't know what to say.
"Is the Governor here?" she eyed my behind.
I shook immediately. "Uhm-"
"Oh! Mr. Asterial, I didn't know you're here."
I looked quickly in the direction the instructor was looking. My lips parted when I saw him coming near our direction. He's wearing casual clothes and his minimal tats on the arm are showing. His hair was neat and he messed it up before he could get close. Our eyes met, I suppressed my smile. I saw how he tried to hide the amusement in his eyes as well.
"I had to ask Mr. Conrado for some things." he talked to the professor.
"Well then, it's nice to see you here. I'll be going now." She bid goodbye to the two of us.
Erato nodded politely and so did I.
We both watched the instructor go and just a few steps away. I felt him grab my wrist. I gasp. He pulled me to the open door there, I was filled with astonishment.
