João Felipe
They immediately changed their playful posture and Nicolas was the first to speak.
" I believe I already know what you intend to admit, since we always suspect it " Your expression was of regret, given the situation in which I found myself.
"I've always been in love with Vivi and now I'm paying the price for never having done anything about it."
" I was sure of it! " Henrique shouted, making a gesture raising his arm, as if in celebration of something.
" A very complex situation, I have to warn you " Nicolas took a sip of his drink, before continuing. " But I imagine you have something in mind once you've decided to acknowledge your feelings."
Before I could answer, I saw at a glance a woman trying to get rid of the onslaught of a guy holding her, apparently quite tightly. I looked around, trying to find some security, and when I looked again at what was going on, I could clearly see the woman in question upon realizing it was Viviane, I immediately got up from the table and ran towards what was happening.
"Drop her now!"
"Go look for a girl for you, man," replied the man, who visibly squeezed Viviane's arm.
He was much bigger than me, but when Vivi screamed in pain, I didn't think twice and moved on top of the guy, with a sharp punch to his face.
Soon we were exchanging punches and I was getting the worse as I had never been involved in any kind of fight, not even when I was younger. But I looked towards Vivi and just the fact that the idiot dropped it from her arm, for me was the most important thing.
When I found myself, there was already the biggest confusion in the club and my friends were also in the middle of the fight. I didn't understand how some more guys came up against us. I thanked the heavens when the security guards separated everyone, as I could no longer bear to dodge the punches of that huge monster.
" Are you okay? " Vivi was already by my side, the worry plastered on her face.
"No, but I'll stay."
"You're full of blood, Felipe!"
"What happened here?" asked Julia, who managed to get to us in the midst of all those people. "Felipe! Was it you who was fighting? But why?"
"Are you okay?" asked what seemed to be the head of the security guards. "We've already put those guys out, don't worry."
"And where were you when that guy was trying to take my wife by force?" I yelled angrily. "None of this would have happened if security worked properly."
The head of security introduced himself, he was really the one who was talking to us and apologized a lot for what happened, trying to get around the situation, probably because he knew who we all were.
I looked at my friends, and even though they were in better condition than mine, they were both also pretty messy.
Viviane grabbed a towel from her bag and started trying to clean some of the dirt off my face, but I believe it wasn't okay at all as she kept insisting that we should go to the hospital. I accepted because I really didn't want to contradict her, even more so now that I had gotten her full attention and that she was so worried about my physical integrity.
We then all went to the nearest hospital and I had to take a few stitches above the right eyelash, and we all had our wounds cleaned and disinfected.
"So what? Is it hurting a lot yet? " Vivi asked for the tenth time. " It's so bloated! " he spoke, bringing his hand to his face and his tone was one of utter regret.
"No need to stay that way, Vivi. It wasn't his fault... " Nicolas spoke in a reassuring tone. " That guy couldn't be harassing you like that."
" Nicolas is right, Vivi " Julia agreed delicately. " The best thing now is for all of us to go home, because we are in need, after all this movement."
Cecilia remained silent, like her arms crossed, and her appearance was not good at all. She even seemed in a state of shock, forever since they had come across the confusion there in the nightclub, she had been silent, without saying even a word.
"I'll take you guys, girls," Henrique offered.
He's the one who was in the best condition, apparently, he was good at fighting, I thought wryly.
My friends were together in one vehicle, and they took Vivi's friends. She and I went together in my car, and she made sure to drive mine. I thought it best not to contradict and we went quietly to the mansion.
Viviane
But what confusion I had gotten myself into, I thought with disgust. I could never have imagined that an exit to the club would end up that way. Never before had anything even happened like this. And it happened just when JP wasn't with me and just Felipe came to my rescue.
My friends had insisted so much that I go out with them, to a girls' program, since neither João Pedro nor César was in São Paulo. I then ended up accepting, because they were right when they said that I hadn't come out like this since Sarinha's birth and I really needed to dance and have a few drinks.
We then agreed that Fabiano would leave me at the club and that on the way home, they would first pass by my house to drop me off and only then go to the apartment they shared, in a neighborhood a little further from where I lived.
But things had happened totally different than planned and now I was coming home with Felipe, driving his car, and to top it off, his face was practically disfigured through my fault!
As I was already entering through the gates of the mansion, I noticed that he had fallen asleep in the hitchhiker's seat, probably from the effect of the pain medicine that had been administered at the hospital.
When I parked the car in the garage of the mansion, I turned on the light from inside the car and stared at his sleeping face, with no sign of the constant arrogance that accompanied him whenever he was awake.
