João Felipe
After I left Viviane at work, I could no longer focus on anything, other than thinking of a way to regain her trust, in search of a new opportunity.
I went home early then, as I just intended to change my clothes and go pick her up from the foundation. My plans were thwarted, however, when I realized that in addition to her already being at home, João Pedro had also arrived on a trip and the first thing I saw when I arrived at the garden, were the two playing with Sarinha, a familiar scene that made me extremely angry.
I thought about turning around and going to my room, or even leaving the house and going for a drink, talking to some of my friends, because I needed to vent. However, I would not give up on winning that family over to me, even more so now that I knew that there was only friendship or brotherly love.
I didn't care that they had gotten to the point of physically relating and making a child. I wouldn't think about that.
I walked towards the place where they were and Sarinha was the first to notice my presence, and her joy was contagious. It was about what I thought and it was those girls I wanted by my side.
"Hello, my little one!" I said with a huge smile, infected by what the little one expressed.
"I am very happy to see the size of your love for our Sarah, my brother.
"It couldn't be any different. She won me over from the first moment," I admitted.
I didn't understand what happened next, because Viviane left in an untimely manner, as if I had said something that upset her.
"Let her go " João Pedro prevented me from going after Viviane when I mentioned it. "She needs thinking. A lot has happened in the last few days.
"If you don't have a real marriage, why are you still together?" I asked once more.
"We're going to part ways. We talked about it and made that decision. Now it's just up to you to convince her to give you one more chance."
I took advantage of the fact that I was with Sarah in my arms and went looking for my mother. I was really in need of talking to someone, but I believe that to convince Viviane about the seriousness of my intentions, I needed to demonstrate in some more incisive way.
" I'm a little shocked by all this, " my mother said, as she finished hearing my account of the brief relationship Viviane and I had.
"Just a little?" I said smiling, as I sniffed the little face of my little doll.
"I must admit that I always realized the intensity of the feelings that existed between you and Viviane. That was the reason for my fear of a relationship with you. I feared that the two of them would get involved at a very young age and end up not living other experiences, even getting married, without even knowing anything about life."
It made perfect sense what my mother said, but it was still wrong of her to always have implied Viviane. I told her exactly that.
"You're right, my son. I'm ashamed of the person I've been, but what matters is that now you can try to live that relationship. If she and her brother are going to separate, and it wasn't you who caused it, I give it my full support. I'm sure your father will agree with me too."
" I'm happy to have your support," I said satisfied. " Now all that's missing is the most important thing, which is for Viviane to accept me into her life again."
"Why don't you invite her to dinner?" my mother suggested.
" She would never accept, " I said indecisively.
"Try my son, you have nothing to lose, do you?" my mother spoke honestly. "You're not looking anything like my stubborn son, who goes in search of what he wants."
My mother was right. I should try, at least. I was already leaving with Sarinha, who was quiet in my arms, when my mother took her from me, ensuring that it would be better to talk to Viviane without using the influence of the little one.
I found Viviane in her room, or rather, the room she shared with João Pedro. One more thing that displeased me.
"What do you want, João Felipe?" she said without fully opening the door so I could enter.
"I want to give you an invitation."
She kept looking at me, not changing her stance.
"I'm not in the mood to leave. With no one and nowhere " She was very strict and didn't seem willing to change her mind.
I thought then that I had already been too patient with this whole situation and enough of that. I pushed the door, which gave way easily due to Vivi's surprise at the act, and pushed her into the room. I hugged her and looked right into her eyes and said:
"I love you. I want to stay with you, Vivi. I want us to be a family," I said as if I explained a very complicated equation, in a paused way.
I took advantage of her being silent at my words and simply kissed her.
We kissed with fury and desire. I knew it was reciprocated by my feelings, and having Viviane's lips on mine, feeling the hunger with which she reciprocated me, made me even more certain that I couldn't give up.
" Let's have dinner with me, please " I took the moment when we took our lips apart to take a breath and insisted on my request. " We need some time for ourselves."
"What are people going to think, Felipe? How can I be married to one brother and go out to dinner with the other, even more so in these terms? "Despite the words of indecision, she was still hugging me and that was very good.
"The people who matter, already know that I love you and want to stay with you."
Viviane's expression was one of uncertainty, and I explained that I had spoken to my mum and that even João Pedro knew about my plans. I also told him about the fact that he had told me that they had talked and decided to separate. He didn't want any misunderstandings between us.
"I don't know, Felipe. I'm so confused!"
