It was the dawn of a new day, and I lay in bed, watching Viviane sleep peacefully beside me. The soft sunlight filtered through the curtains, illuminating her face. I couldn't help but smile, marveling at the luck of having her by my side.
Our love story, which began with obstacles and challenges, transformed into a tale of happiness and overcoming. Since the moment we became husband and wife, life only became richer. Sarah brought even more joy to our lives. Every laugh, every small achievement of hers, was a reason for celebration in our home. The experience of being a father was something I never imagined would bring me so much fulfillment and contentment.
We decided to spend a few days in Greece as our honeymoon after the wedding. The Island of Mykonos was a paradise, with its crystal-clear beaches and charming alleys. Together, we explored the island, immersing ourselves in the culture and beauty of those lands.
Upon returning to Brazil, our routine gained new meaning. Viviane and I built our life, sharing dreams, challenges, and triumphs. Today, as I watch the sun light up the room and see Viviane wake up with a smile, I know this is just the beginning of a wonderful chapter in our story. Together, we had breakfast, sharing laughs and plans for the day.
After dropping Sarah off at school, Viviane and I took different paths: she went to work, and I headed to the office. The daily routine, though simple, was filled with meaning for us.
Upon reaching the office, I went to my room, diving into another workday. Focusing on daily responsibilities became easier with the certainty that, at the end of the day, I would find Viviane's warm smile.

"Nicolas, what happened? You're glowing," I inquired, curious to discover the source of his happiness. With shining eyes, he shared the news that filled him with joy:
"Finally, my friend. Finally!" He celebrated, leaving me even more curious. "I proposed to Laila, and she said yes."
His account was filled with emotion, and I could feel the genuineness of his words. Hearing about Nicolas's happy outcome filled me with a wave of joy. It was incredible to witness the realization of love between two people who faced obstacles, chose to understand, and ultimately found fulfillment together.
After a disastrous marriage with a petty and deceitful woman, my friend is finally with the woman he truly loves. I couldn't be happier. I stood up from my chair and hugged him, celebrating the same happiness with him. Like him, I had also found my way to happiness alongside Viviane.
We were immersed in a lively conversation about his recent engagement when suddenly, Ricardo entered the room, a noticeable contrast to Nicolas's smile. Surprised, I raised a questioning eyebrow.
"Was this visit planned, or is it just a coincidence?" I asked, intrigued. It wasn't common for us to meet without prior planning.
Contrary to his usual confident demeanor, Ricardo seemed desolate. His expression betrayed an emotional weight that did not go unnoticed. My concern increased as I noticed his condition.
"Ricardo, what's happening?" I questioned, making space for him to share whatever was weighing on his heart.
Nicolas, always attentive to others' emotions, offered his support: "Friend, you know you can confide in us. We're here to support you."
Ricardo sighed as if relieving a momentary burden, deciding to open his heart. The room, which had echoed with laughter and good news just moments ago, transformed into a space of empathy and understanding.
"I assume it's about Alicia..." I suggested, considering the shared knowledge of Ricardo's feelings for the intriguing Alicia Guimarães.
"I have another girl problem now," Ricardo surprised us with his confession.
Immediately, I recalled the events of my wedding party and the peculiar interaction between my friend and Júlia. I didn't hesitate to express that thought.
"Would this girl happen to be Júlia?"
Ricardo's surprised expression confirmed my assumption. Nicolas, however, seemed visibly shocked.
"Júlia, Vivi's friend?"
"Exactly," Ricardo confirmed.
As he shared his struggles, I realized the importance of moments like these among friends. Life often throws challenges that seem overwhelming, and having true friends by our side makes all the difference. The room became a haven, where words flowed without judgment, and mutual understanding prevailed.
"So, you're no longer in love with Alicia," commented Nicolas with a satisfied smile.
"Alicia is in the past," Ricardo stated with determination. "I've decided that I want a serious relationship with Júlia."
Ricardo's revelation about his feelings for Júlia filled the room with surprise and curiosity. Nicolas, still surprised, expressed, "Júlia has always been Vivi's friend. I never imagined there could be something more."
Ricardo, however, explained with a lighter tone, "Sometimes things change when we least expect it. Júlia and I met in Brotas. It was something different, special."
While listening to Ricardo's narrative, I reflected on the complexities of human relationships.
"I'm happy for you, Ricardo," I commented sincerely. "If you've found someone who makes your heart beat faster, it's worth exploring that possibility."
Nicolas, still processing the surprising turn of events, agreed, "Love is funny, isn't it? We never know when or where it will happen."
Ricardo smiled and I realized that he seemed very happy just to be sharing his concerns with us.
"You're both incredible. Thank you for being here to listen and understand."
"We've always been here..." I tried to joke, to soften the emotional atmosphere inside my office "We just weren't mature enough not to laugh at each other."
Nicolas let out a loud laugh and added:
"The biggest idiot of all has always been you, João Felipe. You and your heart of ice"
