TESSA P.O.V
It’s been officially One week (and like two days) since I’ve talked to Collin or seen him it’s been relaxing, and, Iris hasn’t given me any fuss.
Right now I’m worried that Collin has left, I’ve been waiting in the lobby so that way we could walk in together like we usually do. He hasn’t showed up and we’re about to be called for our appointment.
“Custody battle #1097.”
I was hoping if I got up slowly Collin would miraculously show up through that door and try to hold my hand inside, but he never did, I walked up to where our conference room was, still wondering if Collin would show up, or maybe he forgot.
But when I walked into the conference room I saw Collin but he doesn’t look at me at all. He sits at his usual seat, next to me. Why didn’t Collin come in with me like the rest of us?
When I got in the room Collin didn’t look at me in the eyes, he would look at the wall or something else, when Collin would talk about our relationship he would not say we. He would say Me and Tessa or, Me and her.
He’s slipping from my fingers and I don’t know why.
When the meeting was over Collin rushed outside when I followed him as he was sitting on the steps, his face was of anger.
“So you can’t look me in the eyes now!” I yelled at Collin as he was sitting on the steps holding his phone in his hands. I walked right in front of him, and he looked down at his feet.
He unlocked his phone and pressed a button and it started to play a message “Hunny..., This was the only thing Collin lied to you about. Did you tell him what you did the last time you spent a few days in a hotel, especially with your Doctor. The OBGYN!” It continued;
“No. We were broken up we weren’t together, so I didn’t think I--” the voice message said.
“Exactly the truth is, you two were together. He wasn’t with you when he got that other girl pregnant. It would have been many years before you two even dated. So what’s your problem T?”
“Do you think I should tell him?”
Collin ended the voice message. He turned his phone off, he had tears in his eyes, and looking to his left. Still not looking me in the eye.
“I’m so Sorry Collin--”
“I don’t want to hear it Tessa. What the hell did you do?”
“We didn’t do anything.”
“Bull Sh*t Tessa! you even said it on your voicemail! When will you stop being such a kid and tell me the truth!! You obviously did something because Sydney wouldn’t have mentioned anything about it if you didn’t do anything.”
“I- He kissed me, I didn’t want it to go any further because I love you and I was carrying your baby. I felt pulled in two different ways I had feelings toward Jake but I love you. We weren’t together, but I felt wrong for the kiss we shared.”
“IT DOESN’T MATTER TESSA! WE WERE TOGETHER! WE WEREN’T ON BREAK, WE DIDN’T BREAK UP! YOU LEFT ME! IT DOESN’T MATTER IF HE SLAPPED YOUR BUTT YOU STILL HAVE TO TELL ME! I’M YOUR BOYFRIEND, I’M SUPPOSED TO PROTECT YOU! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT IF YOU WONT TELL ME ANYTHING TESSA!”
“I--”
“I’m done talking. I’m not sure I can do this with you Tessa. I’m doing this court with you because I don’t want to see Iris go to your awful parents.”
“Collin wait!” Collin kept walking. I stood in one place, watching as my life crumbles in front of me.

One day later
Collin isn’t answering his phone, it goes straight to voicemail it didn’t do that yesterday. The judge is going on vacation so there isn’t any court so maybe he went back to Virginia, but his location says no signal.
Iris is starting to get fussy, I’m sure it has to do with growing pain, and there is not much I can do about it. I just give her baby tylenol, which seems to work for awhile, and she sleeps most of time but when she cries, all she wants is to be held, allowing me to hold her, and lay down, falling asleep with her on my chest.
I only hope Collin is okay, I only figure he’s blocked my number, or, his phone is shut off, I’ll keep trying but I don’t know what I can do.
