The guards let us through as we were near the runway.
My mouth gaped looking at the jet, eyes widened, awestruck by the sight but Prince only smiled and hugged me from behind.
"So. Did you like it?" He asked sweetly, kissing my neck.
“Like? I love it! This is my first time seeing a jet." I beamed.
He wrapped his hands around my midsection, leaning his head against mine, smiling widely while observing my amazed reactions.
Putting my hand over his I whispered, "It's amazing."
"My everything is yours..." He smiled, moving to my ears.
"I am all yours..."
A shiver went down my spine by his piercing gaze, evoking sweet sensations from my core.
His other hand moved to my back, moving me back until we hit the car as he lifted me from the ground, placing me over the back side. I gasped a little, holding his shoulder.
"What are you doing?" I asked breathlessly with his intense action but ignoring me, he attached his lips to my neck.
"I can never have enough of you." He murmured lovingly, pressing his body over mine, controlling my body in harmony with his keen actions. I wrapped my hands around his neck, arching my back when his teeth sunk into my skin, moaning his name.
"Prince..."
"That's why I want to be earlier than others." He let out a suppressed laugh over my neck.
Holding my waist with one hand and tugging my hairs behind my ear with the other, eyes gradually met mine, gazing back into his mesmerizing form.
"I think you have put a spell on me." Breathing my palm pressed over his rapid heartbeat synced with mine.
"That's what you did... Long ago."
"I had never felt this way before... There's a strong thrill in your every action." I confessed sheepishly, taking off his tie and opening the first two buttons, earning a smirk from him.
"Me neither. A spark I have never sensed invokes every time I am with you. Do you know why I intimidated you physically? Because I wanted to touch you badly. I tried to control myself but couldn't. My very soul needs you, Cinzel." Nuzzling to my neck, his arms embraced me, euphorically securing me in his arms.
"I am so sorry for doing this to you but I can't do this anymore... I can't bring myself to hurt you anymore..." He whispered, tightening his grip over me.
"You were just trying to protect me all this time. From Zaniel, to this Mafia life, From my inner devil. You were trying to shelter me from all this." I whispered back, smiling softly, kissing his head.
"But it hurts you. I couldn't do any of my jobs properly. I am so sorry."
With a short laugh of captivation, I ran my one hand in his hair, leveling his head to mine, connecting our eyes.
I opened my mouth to say something but noticed Nathaniel coming with a few guards behind him. His hands were in his pocket, whistling casually and indulging to see Prince like this.
I pulled away from Prince and got down, taking a few steps.
"If you are done with your moment Princy, we could take a look around." Nathaniel mocked.
"Well, only if you hadn't meddled between a couple's moments." Prince muttered.
"And stop calling me that." I chuckled seeing how Prince hates this name.
"Why? It suits you so much, Princy." He smirked.
"I thank God for not being a nightmare."
“I am a nightmare? That is your fault for shooting me in the first place.”
“You were flying too high. Acting all high and mighty. You are such an arrogant bastard.” Prince argued, making him gasp.
“I deserve this position. I have worked hard for it. You are an asshole who doesn’t know how to work properly, Princy.”
“What?!”
He taunted as they both began to bicker at each other and it made me laugh looking at them.
“You guys are being kids.” I chuckled but then I saw the last guy from behind, moving his hand back. Looking suspicious as they both continued to argue, my smile gradually faded when he abruptly targeted Prince.
The fact that Prince could get hurt manipulates my body with survival instincts. Hurt anyone in this world but not my Prince. I won’t bear it.
My body acted on its own like before as I took out my gun from behind and randomly shot my gun.
Yes, Nathaniel taught me. I.. shot someone…
"Get down, Prince!" I shouted and shot as it hit his leg and the guy fell on his knees.
Everyone turned their attention to the guy, "Cin-"
"He tried to attack Prince!" I shouted.
"Get him!" Nathaniel shouted, motioning other men to grab him.
My eyes gradually met Prince who held a horrified expression on his face which clearly tells he failed to keep my innocence and the atrocity I have received in heredity have kicked in.
That was the moment I realized I could never be the person I ever was.
A loud gasp escaped my lips, throwing the gun away as my hands began to tremble violently, the thought I even shot a guy pricked my heart.
How could I think of letting it happen? I could have told anyone why I took action?
Meaningless excuses afflicted my mind as I fell on my knee, my breath, my voice halted in my throat. Tears brimmed in my eyes, not daring to watch Nathaniel taking the guy away as Prince lamented eyes looking at me.
"Cinzel." Nathaniel called me, coming to me.
"It's okay, you did it to protect Prince. It’s okay, don’t panic. Calm down." He tried to justify my act but to no avail. My very soul was frozen.
“Cinzel, listen, come on.” Nathaniel made failed attempts to make me listen.
My breaths suffocated me as tears fell directly on my hand. Head hanging low, I remained motionless.
"Cinzel.." Prince called me, bending on my level, lifting my chin, holding it sternly, staring dead into my souls, Fastening my blurry orbs with his stern ones, holding a deadpan look on his face.
"Breathe."
He instructed- ordered as I let out the sob clotting my vocal cord. Breaking into a thundering sob, I hugged him tightly.
"What have I done, Prince?!" I cried, hiding my face in his chest, releasing the emotions which were stacking on my chest.
Nathaniel was staggered to find me obeying him so quickly. One word it took.
"Shh. Don't cry. This day had to come sooner or later." He whispered, running his hands in my hair but nothing could console me anymore.
"You promised to save me from all this! I can't take it..!! I am not a murderer!" I cried loudly, clutching his coat tightly.
"Cinzel, this was unavoidable."
"No!! That's not me!" I wailed in his arms, soaking his chest as Prince tried to calm down, this was the moment he stopped trying.
Prince gave up on me…
He accepted the fact, I was born from a devil and was bound to develop its traits. Malice was in my bloodline. I was born with contaminated blood.
But I didn't want it.
"Shh... Calm down. It's okay." Prince whispered, kissing my head but I cried.
"No, it's not, Prince!"
"He is alive.."
"How can I shoot him in the first place!?" I asked in a croaked voice, holding his collar desperately.
"You are not a saint. Keep yourself together, Cinzel." Prince tried to help me regain my senses strictly.
“I.. am not…”
It took me a while but eventually I passed out in his arms from extreme dread which left the mark of a murderer on my heart.
