Bella and Vivian's bond became so close that they could be passed off as sisters.
Months went by and Bella's pregnancy was becoming pronounced, although, Mr. Fedor and Vivian were curious about what happened to her and the child's father, they made no mention of it to Bella and did their best to alleviate any stress for her.
Bella woke up at dawn and decided to go on a sea ride with Mr Fedor's boat, she loves early morning boat rides.
Despite being heavy with a child, it did nothing to dampen her habit of going out early morning on a boat ride.
"The tides are high and not pleasing for a boat ride" Mr Fedor informed her, "I'll advise you not to go out on a ride today"
But Bella has been craving for it and she decided to go, she will not stay out there too long, just a few minutes and she will be back home
Bella smiled as she went on her boat ride, the tides were just a little bit high but she could handle it
"You see baby, I miss your Dad, I miss him a lot, I feel like he is just on the other side of the sea, and coming to this sea makes me feel a bit close to him. Do you know that he loves taking me to the beach? We'll just lie on the beach and watch the tides and flow of the sea"
Tears glistened in her eyes and she shook her head, she had to stop thinking about Daniel already but God! She missed him so much
She wiped her eyes and noticed that the current under her boat had intensified, "we have to go back, the tides have risen so high"
Bella tried to turn her boat around but she could no longer control it anymore, she struggled with it for a while and her alarm grew as her boat kept spinning and she struggled to keep it afloat
Soon it started raining heavily and Bella sobbed, she should have listened to Mr Fedor, now, she was just going to die out here with her baby
"Bella, hold on, I'm coming" she heard someone yell and she cried out in relief when she turned to see Mr Fedor coming towards her in a smaller boat.
Thunderstruck and it started to rain Bella's boat spiraled out of control and despite her effort to keep it afloat, it capsized so did Mr Fedor's boat but he swarmed towards her.
Bella was going down, she had no idea how to swim in the first place.
Various thoughts flashed through her mind, she did not want to die, she wanted to give her child the chance to live
A hand suddenly wrapped around her and dragged her up, she gasped for air and she opened her eyes to see Mr Fedor
"Oh Mr Fedor, I'm so sorry, I should have listened to you" she cried
"It's okay child, you will be fine" Mr Fedor reassured her
Bella glanced around and was surprised that they were in the middle of the sea, she
didn't know that she had gotten this far because she didn't plan on going this far
The current of the sea was becoming more intense and she knew that Mr. Fedor could not hold on to her for too long, he must have thought the same thing because he suddenly removed his life jacket and wore it on her
"What are you doing Mr Fedor, please no, what about you"
"Do not worry about me child, you have to live for your baby besides, I miss my wife so much, and if anything should happen to me, do not feel guilty, just have it in mind that I am very happy to be with my wife"
Bella shook her head vigorously, "no Mr Fedor, what about Vivian? She needs you" Bella was crying profusely, she regretted coming out here, she was already feeling guilty for not listening to him
Mr. Fedor tried to swim with her to the shore but the current kept pushing them apart, he saw a chunk of wood, part of what was left of their boat and he grabbed it, "Hold onto this Isa, you'll be fine" he said and placed Bella hands on the wood just as a wave of water hits them
Bella screamed as Mr Fedor was ripped apart from her and she held tightly on the chunk as it bounced on the water.
She was feeling tired already, she gazed around searching for Mr Fedor but could not find him, she saw some people dived into the sea and started swimming towards her, she would die before they would get to her, she thought.
She felt dizzy and so damn cold, "oh my baby, I'm sorry that I could not protect you" she cried
She closed her eyes and allowed the dizziness to engulf her.
In her subconscious mind, she felt a hand lift her off the water and started swimming with her to shore

When Bella opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was that she was lying on the ground and that intense blue eyes trying to revive her, he was not from the Island because she had not met him before, she coughed and blinked severally as everything that happened came to play in her head.
She tried to sit up but the man held her still, "take it easy, you are still too weak"
She blinked severally at the man holding her, "Who are you?"
"I'm Jason Tyler, the new Island doctor"
"Mr Fedor. Is he okay?" She sat up and gazed at the sea, the waves were calmer and serene, and it looked like it had not been turbulent some hours ago, boats were all over on the sea and from what she could see, it seemed like they were looking for something...or something.
Her gaze landed on Vivian who was kneeling by the seashore and sobbing
"No! Mr Fedor" She pushed away the doctor's restricting hands and ran to Vivian
"What happened Vivian? Why are you crying?" Her gaze searched around and landed back on Vivian, "where is your father"
"Don't you dare ask me that" Vivian wailed angrily, "he asked you not to go but you were so stubborn and now I have lost my father because of you"
"No, Vivian, Mr. Fedor isn't dead, he can't be dead"
"Where is he then? Have you seen him around? No, right? And do you want to know why? It is because he is deep beneath the ocean. You killed my father" Vivian yelled and pushed Bella, some men ran over to grab her and tried to console her but Vivian was not ready to be pacified, she struggled against them, she was bent on reaching Bella
"I will never forgive you for it. I curse the day my father brought you in, you are such a curse and that is why your baby does not even have a father"
Bella knew Vivian was grieving and angry with her but she felt stung by her words, she took two steps backward as tears streamed down her cheeks, it was all her fault that Mr Fedor died anyway
"Go away from here and I don't ever want to see you again. There is no room in my father's house for you"
Bella felt shattered, she had hurt the family who took her in while she was stranded, perhaps, Vivian was right and she was indeed cursed, and that was why she always hurt people who loved her.
She just kept walking along the seashore and never bothered where she was going, she would go away from Vivian if her presence hurt Vivian so much but there was one thing she was determined to do.
She would live for her baby.
