Stacey's POV
"You know, it might be too unfair to receive this advice, but I want you to get yourself together and ask him. I made the same mistake before. And I don't want you to do the same," she said and smiled.
I remained silent after hearing her thoughts, she didn't utter a word but respected my silence.
Oh, Mother, you love me.
A doctor came inside, with a facemask, and ask me to come out. After I came and followed him, he instantly grabbed my arms and led me somewhere safe.
"I hope you're okay. But your husband isn't," he said.
It's Harry.
"I'm too tired to deal with him right now, Harry. I hope you understand," I replied and was about to go, he pulled me back.
"Stacey, you know what, it's different from what you imagine. He's really in danger!"
"AND SO IS MY MOM! Listen, if you think you can control me just because you paid for my mom's bill, then I will give it back to you. I have money. Just wait for it," I said and retrieve my arms from him.
Before I finally leave, I looked back at him. He's gloomy and frustrated. But I didn't care 'cause I feel the same way.
"You don't what danger he put me into. I'm afraid I might lose myself if I keep on sticking my nose to him," I said and left.
Yul's POV
Today, I think everything happened so fast. First, it was Stacey. And the revelation that Cygnus is my brother?
Okay, don't get it wrong. Faith isn't my sister, 'cause she's the daughter alone of that f*cking ungrateful Leonardo Helius.
Before we came into this abandoned place, Cygnus and I bumped into each other and happened to reconcile just this time. He knew how assh*le his dad could get, so he agreed to help me put him in jail.
Yep, we didn't come alone. We're just finding the perfect time to bust this guy standing in front of me.
"Perfect family. We're complete! Haha! And I didn't expect you'll impregnate my daughter sooner than your wife. How about you made your son with her the heir instead?" he suggested and laughed. I rolled my eyes.
He's completely wasted and out of control.
"Stop this, Dad," Cygnus said.
Cygnus owned a business secretly. He's not revealing himself as the owner because of his dad. He knew how selfish he could get.
"Boys," his dad commanded.
What happened next struck my heart.
They shot my dad using a stun gun. I wonder how many days is he suffering from this.
F*ck. Why did I know this too late?
"This is the end," I said.
And all of the police came out from their hiding place. It doesn't take long 'til they got Mr. Helius and his minions at their palm.
My father is now spitting blood!
"Mom!" I called her and pointed to Dad, to which she responded too soon.
Dad collapsed after a while, luckily, we brought an ambulance and that's where my dad was placed.
"Thank you for your help. I guess, we can do better if we only met in a different situation in our life," I said. He smiled and pat my back.
"Don't worry, I will not get her back anymore. I now understand the reason why she's in love with you," he said.
My jaw dropped.
"What did you just say? She loves me?" I asked, holding my breath back while waiting for the answer. F*ck! It's breathtaking!
"Oh dude, you must attend counseling to understand women," he said and laughed.
Oh geez. If she loved me, then maybe, courting her will not be too hard. I will just make her confess!
That's it.
"Thanks for letting me know, man," I said.
He just nod his head and walked away.
I was about to go as well when Ate called me.
What is it for this time?
Stacey's POV
"Mom!" I called her name, my siblings were also there shouting together with me. I couldn't forgive myself if she'll die this soon.
Mom suddenly petrified while she was taking a bath that's why she was rushed into the emergency room.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Yutengco. Your mother fell into a coma. It'll take a few more days until she wakes up. Or she might not be awake at all," she said. My sister and brother bursts into tears.
I can't believe this. Did I do something wrong?
What happened to Mom?
Yul texted about his situation right now. His father is at stake and she's okay now with her mother. But I can't digest everything.
I feel like I was about to lose my leg once my mother died.
"George..."
Cygnus came. I don't how is he managing to keep me updated on my life. But he is always there whenever I needed him.
"I also have another revelation for you, but I don't know if you could still accept it," he said.
"No. Keep it to yourself until you die. I don't want to know anything from other people from now on. If information is bound to reach me, it will be," I said.
He placed his arms over mine and pat it.
"Some people need to cry their hearts out to accept their situation," he said.
My emotion is blank. I've reached the bottom of my crying session.
Now, nothing is coming out of my eyes.
"Ms. Yutengco, we need to conduct a meeting. Right now is the best choice of time," said the doctor. I didn't hesitate and followed her.
I gave Cygnus a sign to go home.
"We found another way to save your Mom," the doctor said. I kept quiet while she was explaining.
"We need to do an operation and safely remove her breast. We'll also open her skull. It's affected, that's why she couldn't wake up. If we didn't do that operation, she might live, but not talk anymore."
"The bill?" I simply asked.
"300,000 for the operation. Doctor's fee will be 200,000."
I was shocked but came up with a plan sooner than expected.
A bunch of my guests is still texting me to give them entertainment. This is an easy task.
