Chapter Stripper Game

Yul's POV

Dad had finally recovered from what happened. Mom explained that she was not part of that assh*le's plan. Mr. Helius was sent to jail and was sentenced to 10 years. That's not enough for me, but I'm not the person to do something absurd just to get revenge.

If that's what they think he deserves, I am not to interfere.

"Are you done with the lists of people I have to meet today?" I asked Stacey.

Yes, we're back to square one. We're here at my office, and her mother is still in a coma. She said there's something she needs to do to save her mom but she's not telling me which is which.

Did I do something wrong?

"Here," she replied and was about to leave, but I grabbed her arms.

"What's wrong? You've been acting strange lately," I asked. She rolled her eyes and pulled her arms back.

"I'm sorry, sir. I don't think we should be talking about unnecessary topics as of now. The company is at stake and I think you need to focus on that," she said and without any notice, she left.

What is she playing?

Faith calling...

I rejected her call.

The f*ck, this girl kept on calling me nonstop. Is she still thinking about that s*x? Come on, I'm not in the mood.

I looked at my schedule and went to the conference room. The guests asked for privacy so I'm the only one who'll attend the meeting.

"Good afternoon," I greeted him right after he entered.

It doesn't take long for him to punch me.

"What the hell, dude!" I said while holding my lips.

"Huh? 'What the hell'? Why are you hurting her again?"

Oh god, it's Cygnus.

"What are you talking about? I'm not hurting her? She's the one who's avoiding me! I'm getting headaches just thinking of her reasons!" I said.

He grabbed my collar.

"HUH? THINKING?! ARE YOU STILL THINKING RIGHT TO JUST ASSUME HER REASONS AND NOT ASK HER?!" he shouted. I pushed her away, resulting in getting him out of balanced and dump to the floor.

"Do you think I didn't try to do that? And why are you intervening in our relationship again?" I asked.

"Have you forgotten? I'll take her back if I saw her crying, and you're the f*cking reason why!" he said.

"And did you see it?" I asked.

He smirked.

"Come on, stop being absurd, she's been crying for days!"

That's it. I stood up, ignored his presence, and went straight outside my office and look into her. Cygnus tried to stop me from going but I have thrown his arms away.

I look at my office, hers, cafeteria, but she's nowhere to be found!

"Please, answer..." I uttered while calling her. I went back to my office and there she is.

Standing plainly and putting down a bunch of papers at the top of my desk.

The whole world suddenly became slow motion as I walk closer to her. She was still keeping her plain and cold expression until I finally reached and hugged her.

"I've been looking for you everywhere!" I released the hug and looked at her, worried.

"...you're not answering my call either! What happened? A-are you okay?" I asked.

She looks puzzled and steps a little farther from me.

"Mr. Servano, I don't think you should act like a stubborn child right now," she said. I'm getting annoyed!

"Why do you keep on calling me by my surname when I'm your husband?!" I asked, shouting.

She sighed.

"Did you forget? You told me to become this punctual when we're at work. I'm just following your d*mn rules and here you are, whining like I'm the one at fault and doing or acting everything according to just what I want!" she said, with the same energy I just gave.

She's different. I could feel her different aura and mood.

"F-fine, I said that. But my point is about your attitude towards me. You're not just punctual! You're avoiding me!" I said.

I couldn't ask her straight about why she was crying for days 'cause I want to know naturally. I want her to spit it directly from her mouth, but her reasoning is just increasing!

"So what if I'm avoiding you? Does it affect you that much?" she asked.

Okay, that's it! She'll tell me.

"YES, IT IS! Someone told me you've been crying for days and I, your husband, is not by your side!" I said.

She shrugged and rolled her eyes.

"It's not new, Yul Matthew. Please, be yourself. Arrogant, insolent, disrespectful, and entitled you. Just bring it back," she said.

She turned her back on me and walk away. Holding her purse, she looked determined not to talk to me like she used to. This is unfair.

Stacey's POV

"Come here at 6 pm. Don't worry, all you have to do is to strip. Nothing more, nothing less," Kate called.

I need to entertain another set of guests to meet the certain money I needed for my Mom's operation. I'm about to meet the deadline so I'm trying my best to find rich guests.

And Kate is my assistant to do so.

"Wait for me, I'm dressing," I said.

When I'm doing a stripper game, I always triple my shirt to make it even more exciting and thrilling for the viewers.

After arriving, a lot of rich men have been lined up in the audience. So all I did is to go straight to the stage and wire my mascara.

It may seem unrealistic, but I'm getting embarrassed about having this job. It's just too shameful to have.

Other work might suit me, but the salary range is not enough. I also don't want to ask Yul for money. I'm still raging.

The place they used for me to perform in front of the lads is just like a little nightclub, but few were invited. I have a separate payment aside from the audience about to throw it later.

"Whoot Whoot!"

"Start the show!"

"Hot babe!"

"That's what I'm talking about!!"
