Chapter Secret Bunker

Cara's POV.

Papers fly all over my office. I couldn't think of anything but him and his wife.

"THAT IDIOT!" I indeed got out of my sanity. It's difficult to understand my feelings for him. It's a surprise I didn't wish to feel.

I never expected I'd love him this far.

"Ms. Halle, please calm down." It's my assistant, Belle. We're inside the building of my father, in my own office where I release all of my rage toward a certain individual.

Fucking Servano, how could he do this to a millionaire like me?

Is my money ain't enough?

"HOW CAN I?! He's the only man I wanted to marry! Argggghh!" I'm so annoyed, I couldn't breathe!

I couldn't explain the stiffness in my neck and the fatigue in my body as I think of Yul and his wife, making love. That should be me!

"Will that make him yours? If you continue to act like a teenager, you stand no chance." Belle was seriously freaking me, but she has a point.

I closed my eyes as I thought of the possibilities that my calmness could bring. But I still couldn't comprehend it.

"What do you mean?" Still wondering how far will my assistant go to make me follow her ideas of luring another woman's husband into my arms?

She sat down in front of me like a lady boss. "Ms. Halle, other than claiming that you're pregnant with him, try sleeping with him, for real this time."

---------------

Yul's POV.

"Let me talk to you later," I said and hung up the call without even waiting. Whatever is she about to report to me, that doesn't matter because my wife is finally here.

But the negative part is that her face is all crumpled.

"Who is that?" she asked in a tone of jealousy.

"It's my assistant and she's giving me reports about the company." Her face turned calm. "Why? Are you wary of me again? Still couldn't find me trustworthy?"

"It's not like that." She went closer to me while her eyes were fixed on mine. "I just thought..."

"UHM! WAIT!" I needed to interrupt. I can see through her eyes what she wanted. She's giving me ideas involuntarily. Hell, I don't want any of those. "Can you accompany me to the Underground Bunker?"

Phew, that should do. This is just what I needed, to be with her. Her eyes were confused. "What do you mean? What's a bunker? Am I even allowed to join you?" Her arms were both in her waist. "And do you even think about our son, Yael?"

I caressed her cheeks. "First of all, you will know everything once we've arrived there. Also, our Yael will not join because it's for adults only. So, do you want to come? No, I mean, you should come."

"But---"

"Please, no more buts."

----

George wears the most beautiful dress among the others. She puts me in awe and in great danger. Now down there is getting heavy, I'm feeling so bad I couldn't do it in the venue.

"She's my wife," I whispered to Flint. He's with me tonight.

"I know! You've had so much love for her, huh?" he responded, intentionally teasing me.

"Tell me about it," I smirked. "She's graceful."

"Now let me get this straight, why did you invite her here? This is a formal event." Now he gets to the point.

"She needed to know some of my secret businesses to gain her trust." I sipped on my wine.

George gives a warm welcome to those who already know her. Sophisticated as ever. No matter where she goes, she lightens up the mood. She's the dream.

Her red dress added to her sex appeal.

"Trust for what?" Flint asked.

In one drink, I finished my wine. Now I had to face him to keep his mouth shut. "Remember our company before this? When my dad is still as strong as ever? I did it too. We've kept a bunch of dangerous animals down my company. And once she knows about it, I'm sure she'll never doubt my fidelity."

He laughed. "I know what you're talking about. You guys keep on fighting and she's now determined to leave you! HAHA! Oh come on, you deserve it."

I rolled my eyes. Right before I was about to respond to insolent Flint, she appeared. "Yul." Her voice is cold but awkwardness is evident. "This silk is itchy. I want to get change."

My arms are now wrapped around her. "No, it suits you."

Flint faked his cough. "What? What's wrong with reminding people that you still exist?" He laughed.

George extended her hand to him. "George." Her body is slightly leaned, and she is standing next to the wall so no one can see us behind. I grabbed her ass. She jerked in shock.

I even heard her gulp.

"Hey, Flint here. I'm glad you came." Flint continues to talk. But George looked at me, trying to communicate using her eyes. It's like she's saying "STOP!"

But I won't let her.

As I grabbed her ass, I slowly lift up her slit where I slid my horny finger on her.

"Yul Matthew," she called for an emergency.

"Yes, wifey?" I asked, trying to tease her more. It's cute to pretend I didn't know what she was calling me for.

But guess what? She made a way for even more easy access, her body leaning on the table as my finger explored her opening. She's trying to distract Flint!

God... what I love the most is her hands, traveling to my baby.

Damn it.

"But what happens to your little girl? I thought she was hospitalized?" Flint asked out of the blue. Now, it's ruined! She stood up straight and removed her hands from mine.

"I don't think this is the best place to talk about my sick daughter." She's breathing so fast, is her anxiety attacking her?

She went away.

"What did you do, Flint?!" I said, almost above a whisper.

He smeared. "Putting a stop to your tricky game. You thought I wouldn't know?" He teased.

DAMN!

I just pouted before leaving him alone, following in the footsteps of my wife.

It's getting crowded, I'm losing her to the crowd... a lot of investors are approaching me, but I have to go!

I need to think of something to get away... think... think... AHA!

My stomach hurts.

Acting out now as if my stomach hurts, and how funny they bought that game!

I was able to walk away.

"Wifey... where are you?" I murmured.

She pulled me, and it made me trip to the red carpet. She was anonymous, but I don't have the energy to know who did that.

I stood up without even asking her for an apology or what.

George is getting out of my sight...JEEZ!

"Hey, looks like you were in a hurry." It was... Cara.

God... of all places, why does it have to be here? Why do we have to meet when I'm looking for my wife?!

"Can we talk later?" I asked and was planning to run. But she managed to stop me.

"Hey, that won't do any good. Why don't you try to join me for a drink instead? It's just a drink!" It was unintentional, however, I broke the wineglass she was trying to give me as I ignored her proposal.

"I'm sorry, but George is important more than a glass of wine."

I run away. I could see her now. She's getting closer, I could see her.

Her knees were drying to kneel, and so she did.

Slowly, I went closer to her.

What a party wrecker I could be. This is my event, the event I made for George because my assistant told me last night how gossip runs around our company.

To put a stop, I need to set this up. Not only for the company but for her--- the main event.

"Wifey..." I knelt down at the back of her, hugging her.

She's not struggling to release herself from the hug. She stayed in my arms, in the warmness of it.

"I'm sorry... I really can't party while my daughter is sick." Her face is covered in tears. "She's part of the whole, and her part is so big."

Kissing her teary eyes, I felt right from mine the falling tears too. "I'm sorry."

So much drama, but it needs to be revealed, or else, she'll be drowning in pain.

I carried her body out of that place to my car.

"I wanted to go home." She asked.

There's no point in saying no. I had to agree.

----

George's POV.

We're inside our house now.

Freak Cara Halle, how could she try to persuade my husband to drink that fucking glass?

I'm the only one who has the license to do so!

"I know you're having a hard time winning me back. You should stop before it gets too late." BUT NO! Please, don't give up.

He sighed, holding my hand as he brought it to his lips. "It's my fault why you've become this wary of our relationship. I will fix this, and no one's going to break the strong bond we've had for one another." He kissed every tip of my finger.

"You don't need to say sorry. Actually, it's my fault why we're like this. You've done your part, but I just can't." I started to weep. "I can't accept Hyeri's situation right now, just look at her who had no help. And that's when I thought I needed someone to blame. I blamed you."

"That's right, blame him."
