THE DEVIL (GAEL) :
The moment Ella looked into my eyes with hurt and pain of betrayal that stabbed her trust, I knew at that moment that I had lost her. I knew she would never love me and neither would try to understand me at all.
After all, I am a devil, she fell in love with me while taking me as Oliver not the devil I am and when I showed her my real face, she was scared of me and never wanted to be close to me. No matter what I do she would always find a reason to keep her distance from me.
I am sad and broken and yet here I am laughing at myself for being so pathetic, devils could never be pathetic…. I slapped myself in agony when I saw Ella going down in the basement.
“F**K, she chose Oliver over me,” A sad smile appeared on my face, after all the efforts I made, everything I did, this is how she is returning back to me my goodness for her.
She so easily chose Oliver over me, “Why Ella?”I could barely make a sound. At this moment, I could simply go and catch her and then kill both, brother and sister, but no I won’t, because no matter what my love for her was always real and something about her always makes me intoxicated about her, she makes me weak and I can’t kill her but I can curse her.
A thought came into my mind and I immediately flew to that magic lake that has an old witch home. Yes, a witch. The only best friend of the devils are witches, witches needed souls, young beautiful women’s souls and I know how to bribe her to get a curse from her.
I smirked and then taking the necessary things on my way, I flew straight to her.
KNOCK … KNOCK …
I knocked on the door and it opened by itself. Yeah everyone needs to knock on the witch's door. It's an offense to step into a witch's house without knocking. It means like you are straightly going for a war with witches if you step into their house without their permission.
It felt funny, even we have rules in the dark world but look at the human world. I shook my head with a smirk remembering my precious moments with Ella.
“A human has finally conquered a devil’s heart.”The witch said looking amused and I looked at her with seriousness as I sneered, “I don’t have a heart.”
“But you do feel happiness and pain because of her, and If I am correct, she has broken you too.”The witch retorted with an evil smirk and her eyes started shining in the dark.
F**k, I am really feeling like my heart had been broken since I had seen Ella choosing Oliver me, a human over me…!! That makes me angry and disappointed at the same time.
“I want a curse,” I didn’t want to beat around the bush or talk with the witch any longer. The witches are the most selfish creatures; they can deceive you at any moment for their own benefit. I am afraid that she would tell about me and Ella to the other demons and then Dark Lord would finally find out about this curse that I really don’t want.
“Which one?”She asked, raising her thick brows. It's midnight and she is in her real form that is why she is hiding in the dark but I could see her because I am also dark and evil just like her.
“The bounding one,” I told her and she looked bewildered by it, and then after a few seconds, she got that evil smirk back.
“My…”Before she could say anything, I raised my hand and four bottles were flying over my hand. She looked at them greedily and then complimented.
“You know how to please me, hmmm…”She smelled the souls and looked happy, how could she not be happy? I have brought four young women’s souls for her so that she won’t throw any weird conditions to me.
I already don’t have much time, I am worried about what Ella would be doing in the house? Would she be still in the basement hiding? Or leave with Oliver?
I was getting anxious with each second, the witch started chanting some mantras, and then she started making a curse. In boiling magic water she added a lot of things while whispering the words I don’t really understand but then she suddenly stopped and looked at me.
“With whom you’re going to make a bond?”She asked and F**k, I am doomed, I can’t tell her that I want to bond with Ella for her whole life, No, bonding with humans is forbidden if she tell this to anyone they all would kill Ella and me too.
I was hesitating and trying to make a proper lie to deceive her but I forgot that she is a witch and she probably knows everything that is in my mind.
So, instead of lying, I choose to tell her the truth.
“A human.”As I said that, she raised her hands up, and then the bowl of magical water got flames in it, the burning flames were getting so high that I literally took a step back and staggered.
“Finish her or she will finish you,” She snarled but I didn’t listen to her at all because I already knew that Ella would definitely try to kill me. That is why I needed a bonding curse so I could be with Ella for my whole life and trapped her completely. She wanted to get rid of me, I will punish her by making my soul trapped into her body.
“The curse,” I said, agitated glaring at the witch’s ugly face in the dark.
“Love….”She spat with disgust and then walked back to her magic bowl, she again started chanting mantras and I stood there patiently, after multiple hours passed, she finally handed me a bottle that had green liquid in it.
“You have to drink this, before making a bond with her. Once you release yourself in her, she would be half cursed and when you will put your all powers into her only then this curse would be worked completely.”She told me and I nodded my head feeling grateful to her.
“You won’t tell this to anyone,” I asked her. I knew it’s difficult to trust a witch.
And here comes her threat that I was waiting for from the time I told her about my bonding with a human. “I want that human’s hairs and a piece of fabric she wore before the bond.”
“If you dare to hurt her,” I growled and she looked terrified as she immediately blurted out, “I won’t.”
Her fear was making me satisfied as I nodded my head, “Okay” and then vanish into the sky.
I flew back to the house but Ella was nowhere to be seen, I heard some noises from the basement and very quietly peeked in it. There I saw Ella lying on the floor while Oliver was trying to wake her up. I felt so worried that I immediately decided to fly over to her and wake her up but then I stopped as I noticed her soul sitting in the corner talking with another soul.
I tried to focus on the other soul and there, I immediately realized that the other soul is none other than Ethan. Ella’s one and only boyfriend, ETHAN….!!!
I wanted to swallow Ethan's soul at the moment, but instead of acting impulsively I waited patiently and listened to what they were talking about.
After what I heard, I felt completely right and justified to curse Ella’s life. Yes, this is what she deserves. By killing me, she will prove that she never loved me and had always an intention to kill me.
But, I, The devil will make her life so miserable with this curse that she could never imagine at all.
