I was again in a half-conscious state when I heard loud voices, someone is fighting or breaking things, I don’t know but it’s too loud. Too loud that it’s disturbing my peace and now my mind is getting frustrated.
My dizziness is fading as I am coming back to reality and there I opened my heavy lids just to see the darkness around me, I stayed still because moving is just pain and as I have heard noises it would be better to not let anyone know that I am awake.
Soon, I heard footsteps and my breath hitched, I tried to stay calm and didn't move but the panic in my heart was rising with each sound of footsteps coming near to me.
My heart nearly came to my throat when the footsteps stopped near me, I could feel someone’s stare on me and held my breath feeling hell nervous.
I hope whoever is it would go away thinking of me as a dead person, I am not ready for more torcher at all. I held the locket tightly in my hand, praying in my heart, and Thankfully after a while, the footsteps started fading.
Just when I took a deep sigh, the lights flickered open blinding me momentarily and a low whimper of fear escaped my mouth.
“Ahhh…”
I shut my eyes, afraid but then after a while, I tried to keep some courage and then opened my eyes slowly,

I saw nothing but the ceiling and then tilting my head I looked at the door and widened my eyes, seeing Alex coming towards me.
Oh, no…. No… no… Not him…
Is he also going to rape me? I thought and there all adrenaline washed out from my veins as I laid completely numb and started crying in a hoarse voice.
He stood just a little far looking at me carefully but I just closed my eyes and kept weeping. Let him do whatever he wants, I am already like a corpse. A corpse has no feelings at all.
“It will pass, It shall pass…”I kept saying in my mind to distract my mind from him but my tears won’t stop and the pain in my heart increased as well as the panic as the time passed by and then I heard a click.

Fuck, he has locked the door, so now it seems to be my end. I am doomed. I waited for another nightmare to begin but nothing came and then I heard a voice, deep filled with command.
“Open your eyes.”
I opened it involuntarily, frightened of his wrath that I needed to tolerate if I disobeyed him.
“Can you talk?”He asked, and waited for my response. I wanted to tell him “No” and even shook my head but my whole body was numb. I couldn't do anything instead of staring at him with helplessness.
He seemed to understand my helpless state as he said thoughtfully, “Blink your eyes once if it’s a yes and twice if it’s a no.”
“Do you understand me?”He asked. I blinked my eyes once in response. A smile of relief came on his face that made me stunned.
He then started asking a query of questions to me.
“Have you eaten anything?”I blinked my eyes twice. “NO”
“Have you drank anything?”I blinked my eyes twice. “NO”
“You can’t talk?”I blinked my eyes once, Idiot isn’t it obvious now. He could sense my sarcasm as he explained looking nervous. “Just needed to be sure.”
“Moron…”I wanted to yell at him but I wasn’t in the state to do so.
“Can you move your body?”He asked, and I blinked my eyes twice, “NO”
He took a deep sigh, thinking of something, and then he was gone from my sight. Again a panic started rising in my heart as soon as he disappeared but soon he came back calming my scary heart.
“I am going to hold you up, Ready…?”He asked, I didn’t know if it was a good idea or bad but I blink my eyes once. “Yes”
He then held me in his arms and I felt nothing but a terrible pain, my eyes immediately watered, and as I tried to let out a cry my mouth didn’t give me access to my voice. F**k, I am in such a pathetic state.
Alex seemed to notice my tears and then looked down at me with surprise and sympathy in his eyes. Moron, why is he showing me sympathy now. I felt confused and then something unexpected came from his mouth.
“I am sorry, I didn’t know it would hurt you.”He said after he made me sit on the bed with multiple pillows behind me supporting my body.
He then picked a wet towel and started cleaning my face, my hands, and then my foot. I couldn’t feel anything that he was doing except witnessing it from my own eyes.
It made me feel so funny that the person whose touch I once loathed is now actually touching me anywhere he wants and I am not even able to stop him or protest.
Wow… what a f**king terrible destiny of mine.
I felt terrible and was lost thinking about my misery, just then Alex’s voice brought me back. “Do you want to eat first?”He asked.
His voice looked too concerned and his actions were too good to be true and I had no choice left but to answer him every time he asked anything.
I blinked my eyes once, “Yes” I am indeed hungry at the moment.
He passed me a light smile and then holding a bowl he started feeding me something. It was very difficult for me to open my mouth and I dropped lots of food on my body just like a baby.
I kept looking at the door from time to time, I don’t know why he is here and feeding me food? Isn’t he supposed to be in the hospital? And also isn’t he the closest friend of Rita and Janet? So then why is he being kind to me?
But it was also true that last night he wasn’t here, he didn’t join those monsters who raped me so then why? Why is he here now? And help me? That is completely disbelieving.
“Don’t worry. I won’t harm you and neither anyone else would dare to touch you in my presence.”Alex said in a dark voice, he looked angry, but I have no idea about the reason behind it.
The bowl of soup finished and then he said, “I am now taking you to the washroom, you need a bath.”Then without waiting for me to respond he started taking off my clothes but his eyes stayed on my face making me frown with worry and embarrassment.
What the hell is he doing? After making me naked, he put me up and then placed me on the toilet seat. His eyes were now at the tiles and without saying anything he left me alone in the washroom.
My bladder was full of pee as I emptied it shamelessly, I don’t care if he is just outside and could hear me. I need to release myself I had been holding it for so long.
After some time, he came back, and then holding me up he placed me in the tub and started filling it with warm water. As my body got soaked in the water for nearly 15 minutes, I finally started feeling my body again but I was too weak to move.
I stayed in the tub with my head leaned back, the flashes of yesterday’s night, Alex’s sudden appearance everything looked like a dream.
If Rita and Janet were my worst nightmare then Alex has unexpectedly become my savior, my only hope.
