I was lost in my nightmare flashes and didn’t even realize it when Alex hold me up and walked back into the room. He puts me on the chair and then cleans my body with a towel, he starts to dress me up.
After a bath and a change of clothes, I feel refreshed.
Alex then starts to clean my bed as I watch him intently.
I don’t know what he is up to and I have no idea why he is being so concerned about me. Alex looks at me as though he has heard my thoughts and I look away yes except for my eyes I don’t think I can move any f**king part of my body.
Ahhh… That brings back my misery…
After making my bed, Alex holds me up in his arms again and now I can feel the warmth from his hand but the majority of my body is still numb. Surprisingly, his touch doesn’t disgust me anymore maybe because now I have turned too filthy because of what Rita and Janet did to me.
I lay quietly and then Alex feeds me a potion, I don’t know what it is but it’s bitter and I want to spit it out but I can’t. He passes me an apologetic smile and then explains, “This is a unique portion that will cure your body.”
I blink my eyes once telling him “OK”
He then sits beside me and then takes a deep sigh, “Ella, don’t be afraid. I am here now, ok. Please forgive me that I wasn’t able to save you.”
His words are not making any sense to me as I stay mute and then close my eyes, because except for sleeping I don’t think I am able to do anything but those nightmares immediately start to come back as soon as I close my eyes.
Alex could see the distress on my face as he pats my hair and comforts me, “It’s ok. Try again, the portion will help you to sleep…”
And just like that, I feel my head spinning and soon I lose my consciousness.

Where am I? The first thing that comes into my mind and then looking around I realize that I am in a jungle. It looks familiar… Oh F**k, it’s the jungle near Gael’s home that belongs to our ancestor.
I am about to run to the house but all I see is smoke, there is no trace of a house at all. Feeling lost, I start walking in the jungle hoping to find someone. I hear a branch moving and as I turn in the direction, I see someone’s back leaning on the huge tree.
I walk slowly towards it and then stop as I saw a wolf walking towards it with a bucket of water in his mouth. I carefully watch him going close to that person and then quietly placing the bucket it goes away and watches the person from afar.
But it shocks me when that wolf changes into its human self, a werewolf?
The man turns and start walking deeper into the jungle, I wasn’t able to see his face, but somehow my foot starts to follow him without my permission and after walking for a while after him, I am finally able to see his face and that person turns out to be Alex…
“Alex?” I exclaim in shock and suddenly my eyes flutter open.
BLINK… BLINK… BLINK…
There is a bright light coming on my face, my room is quiet and birds chirping sound is indicating that the morning sun has arrived. I try to move forgetting about my pitiful state and then flinch when the pain in my body started to come back.
“Ahhh…” Finally, the lump in my throat has gone and I can make a sound.
Just after a few seconds of my cry, I hear footsteps and feeling scared I close my eyes and start counting in my mind to calm my thumping heart.

I pause taking deep breaths from my nose, I could feel someone’s presence around me.
“It’s okay, you can open your eyes.” I hear a familiar voice and then open my eyes to look at Alex who is wearing a vest and a short now. He has something in his hand, a bowl, a bowl of what? Food?
He seems to read my mind as he replies to me, “I have brought porridge for you. Are you hungry?”
I blink once not wanting to let him know that I can speak. He brings a towel and gently wipes my face and hands, and then starts feeding me porridge, Today I am able to eat properly and not drop my food.
I sigh with relief as I could feel my body getting better. Alex feeds me the same portion and again I am off to sleep.

Arghh… Not again…
I groan as I found myself in the same jungle… No… No… No… I want to go out from here.
I look around and want to run away from here, and I did I start running, running like a freak until I reach near a lake, I was supposed to jump into the lake when I see a shadow in it and stops abruptly.
“Gael…?” I breathe in disbelief.
And when I turn Gael is there, behind me looking at me with red and dark eyes. “Gael…” I call out and then throwing myself into his arms, I start crying sadly, “Gael, do you know what has happened to me? I don’t want to live anymore… Please take me back with you… Please…”
I start sobbing in his arms and he keeps comforting me gently and then pulls me to sit under a huge tree.
“You need to survive this, you have survived many things, Ella… You are not weak but strong.” Gael tells me and I sniff in his chest, inhaling his unique musky scent.
“Gael…” I sob and rubbing my back gently in his arms, Gael makes a promise to me, “I promise, I will kill everyone who has hurt you. They won’t be able to stay alive for long.”
I look up at him and see the determination in his eyes, I feel warm and happy that someone is willing to take revenge for me.
I stay in his arms for a while, I don’t want this dream to end at all.
“Where is my locket, Ella?” Gael asks, out of the blue and I look down at my neck, “My Locket?” I whisper, surprised when I am not able to find it.
“Keep that locket near to your heart,” Gael says to me, and then suddenly he vanishes, and also the scenery around me starts to vanish too…
“No… No… No…” I try to catch his shadow but it was too late and in a gust of wind Gael was gone.
“GAEL…”
I open my eyes and again found myself in the dark, I look around panting heavily and I am sitting on the bed now, how?
I look down at my hands, am I getting better so quickly? The green sparks come out from my hands making me remember Gael. “Locket?” I remember suddenly and then turn to open my side drawer to look for it, If I remember correctly I have kept it here last time or it was in my hand.
I don’t remember at all, my mind has gone completely blank.
I am rummaging through the stuff in the drawer in the dark when a bright light catches my attention. I turn and see the locket hanging in the air, shining brightly.
“You’re looking for this…” I hear a deep voice and my breath hitches, I know this voice, this person, who has turned my world upside down and had given me a night full of nightmares. It was none other than Rita.
F**k me….!!!
I squirm in my place, as she takes slow predatory steps toward me, “Ella… Ella… Ella… Chchchch… I don’t understand what you have that makes everyone crazy for you, huh? Me, Janet, Alex…” She mentions Alex’s name with force just so I would know that she is pissed from this.
“I… I…” I open my mouth but except for a stutter sound, nothing comes out.
Just when Rita reaches my bed, and I feel like I am going to be doomed, the door opens with a loud thud.
BANG
And then turning on the night, I hear a loud growl. “I have told you to leave her alone.”
And before I can understand what’s happening a heavy slap lands on Rita’s face making her face turn to the side and she winces in pain.
