ELLA :
“You….” Rita gritted her teeth as she glare at me with hatred and then look at Alex. “So, this slut has succeeded in attracting you too, huh..” She laughs in mockery, I squirm from her evil laugh. Never ever in my wildest dream, I would picture Rita as such a cruel person.
“Get out, right now…” Alex held her arm and she flinched from his grip.
“Wooh… Ohhh… So much protection for her, huh?” Rita didn’t surrender and provoke him more. “Do you know how much filthy I have made her, Do you know how many men have raped her?” She asks with a malicious smirk and Alex’s eyes turn red from anger.
“Hah, and do you really think I care about that?” Alex asks her back and she looks stunned by his question.
“You can’t be with a woman who has become so dirty…” She exhaled loudly and this time Alex smirks at her, “And who are you to decide it?”
Rita’s face turned pale, she looks angry and shocked too. “I will kill this bitch…” Suddenly, she turn and pounced on me but before she could reach me Alex had already pulled her back.
BOOM
Her back hits the door and a low groan escapes from her mouth as she flinches from the pain, “Ahh…”
“You know what Rita, No matter what Ella’s past was, she is still as pure as gold, and look at you, no matter what you do you would never become as pure as her.” He then pulls her up from the ground and mercilessly throws her out of the room.
BOOM
Alex slam the door shut and I hear Rita’s cursing from outside and decide to not pay attention to it.
“Don’t listen to her, she speaks nonsense,” Alex tells me when he notices me frowning in displeasure.
“Alex… Why are you doing this?” I ask Alex as he picks the locket from the ground and hands me back.
“You are getting better.” He smiles as he looks at me in the sitting position and also I hold the locket that he has placed in my palm just now. His eyes show concern for me.
“Why, Alex?” I ask again firmly, I know he is avoiding my question.
“You should have figured it out until now.” He says mysteriously and I still get no clue of what he is talking about.
“I don’t know what you are saying, Alex,” I tell him and he shakes his head, amused.
“Drink the potion, it will heal you faster.” He brings the cup near my mouth again avoiding my words.
“I…” I drink the potion and as I start to argue with him, he sush me, “Sleep, Ella.”
And I don't know what is in that potion that makes me so sleepy and I immediately fall into a deep sleep that takes me back again to that same jungle near my ancestor’s home.
“Hahaha” I hear a loud evil laugh and watch a woman tripping and then groaning in pain, she hides behind a huge tree and there is complete silence.
After a few seconds, I hear someone call my name. “Ella” and then the shout of fear, “Ahhh…” It seems familiar to me as I walk in the direction of the voice and get stunned when I see myself lying on the grass with a dirty face.
Gael was in his devil form in front of me and then I remember that it was the first day when Gael had told me about his true self of being a devil and I ran away from him into the jungle.
Gael stops and looks behind me, there is a pack of wolves standing behind me that I am not aware of at all. I lost consciousness and Gael also disappeared leaving me alone.
The pack of wolves says something in their language and then all disappears into the dark except one, that wolf comes close to me and with his face, he tries to move my head, he caresses my face with his furry skin but I am still unconscious.
The wolf looks around and then he pulls me near a tree. Keeping me there, he sits there guarding me, his long tail wriggles from time to time as I sleep peacefully beside him.
When the sun starts to rise, I see that wolf changing his appearance, he changes into a man and that man is Alex. I gasp in shock, “Alex.” But no one could hear me at all, it was like I am watching a movie.
Alex touched my face and then my hair, he bent down and pecked my lips quickly before he left.
The reality hits me hard and I wake up from this huge shock.

BLINK… BLINK… BLINK…
I look around momentarily disoriented, the dream I had has proved one thing that Alex is not a human but a werewolf and he had been connected with me from my past, which means he knows about Gael too.
“You’re awake?” Alex enters the room with a tray of food.
I sit up by myself and he passes a smile to me, he sits beside me and holds a piece of pizza for me, “I think you should be wanting some good food.” He says and I nod my head.
He starts feeding me, I groan with satisfaction as I chew the first bite of pizza, it feels like I had it years ago. “I know who you are,” I said between my bites.
“Good, so finally, you know.” He says and his face shows no shock or fear.
“You helped me in the jungle…” I state and he nods his head. “Why?” I ask in a whisper.
“Huh… I don’t know Ella… You… You have that smell on you…. And.. And it attracts me towards you.” He says as he gets close to me and then sniffs my scent.
“But… I love Gael… and he is a…” I say quickly afraid that he will try to force me into something that I never want but surprisingly he completes my sentence on his own.
“A devil…”
I open my eyes wide in shock, “So… you know everything about him…” I ask.
“Yes, everything. Who do you think informs the Dark Lord about his affection for you… I just wanted you to get free from him but instead, you fell in love with him, Ella…” He looks a little pissed and annoyed as he said that.
“I… I don’t need to explain my love for him to anyone,” I tell confidently but inside my heart has started to thump loudly because I am in a helpless condition and I don’t know if I should still trust Alex or not?
“I know… That is why I never force my love on you.” He says quietly and I sigh with relief.
“I… I need help…” I asked Alex after he finished feeding me. “Yes, what is it?” He asks politely and I hesitate before saying it. “Can you help me in finding Gael?” I ask him as I stretch my arm and show him the locket in my hand.
“Huh…” He takes a long sigh and then takes the locket from my hand. “I will try to talk with some people regarding it.” He says and turns to leave but remembering about the witch, I suddenly stop him.
“Alex, there is a witch who can help.”
“A witch?” He asks, looking confused.
“Yes, I have met her before… she had actually given me this locket.” I tell him and he frowns, “Did she ask you to wear it?” and I nod my head, “To keep it close to my heart.”
“Ella… Is there anything that you are hiding from me?” Alex asks with narrow eyes and I shrug nervously, biting my lips. I reveal, “I too have some powers.”
BOOM
He looks shocked when I show him the green light coming from my hands. “Ella… Do you know what this means?” He asks, hurriedly his voice is turning hoarse from the worry.
“No… I don’t even know how I get it or how to handle this…” I tell him truthfully and he frowns deeper. “You have got this from the devil, the devil has possessed you with his powers.” He concluded and I look at him in disbelief.
“But why? Why would he do that?” I ask, not believing that Gael would possess me with his powers intentionally, no why would Gael want to hurt me, no. Never.
“Because he doesn’t want to leave you, Ella. You are bound to him, forever.” Alex reveals and I went completely dumbstruck.
