Amanda POV
I opened my eyes slowly as I had a really bad headache hitting through me.
I tried to stand up only to realize my hands and legs has been tied to the chair I was sitting on.
I tried to recall what happened earlier, I remembered the scary writing and someone got something smashed on my head.
Remembering this made my heart ache and I got really scared.
I looked around me . I was in a room I wasn't aware of. I tried to struggle Free from the ropes tied on my hand but it was all in vain.
I wanted to shout, only for me to realize I was tapped.
Who could have done this?, I thought within me.
I knew who would might have done it, but I don't want to believe it. I don't want to ever see him or his face.
Still struggling with the rope.
"My sweetie! Is awake", he said.
I froze, but couldn't see his face clearly because it was dark in the room.
He walked closer to me and my heart beat started running fast.
I looked up to see his face and my eyes shone out as I tried to shout.
Oh!! No!!! It's him. I thought within myself.
He squatted in my front and smiled at me. That wicked smile of his always freak me out.
He removed the tape from my mouth, and I breathed out. I don't know how long have been holding my breath.
"What do you want?" , I asked fiercely.
"Still have that rage in you, huh!", He said, smirking.
I really wanted to punch him in the face but I can't.
I eyed him annoyingly with hatred.
I don't know why he makes my life miserable.
"So how was your chicky date with your boss?", He asked.
How did he know about it, I thought within myself.
I looked at him not answering him.
"You know Amanda, you are working with a well known boss. So wherever you are with him, people are always watching and they won't waste time at all spreading news", he said.
I didn't know why he was telling me all this.
"Like you care!!!", I spatted out at him.
He smiled wickedly and stood up, I stared at every movement he made as he walked around me and stopped at my back.
I tried to stay calm, he pulled my hair to the back and and moved closer to my ear.
"Austin!! What do you want from me", I said loudly emphasizing my words especially on the want.
I knew he wanted something that's why he came looking for me.
He left my hair alone and chuckled as he walked back to my front.
" I came back for what is mine",he said.
"You don't have anything", I said angrily.
"Oh!! Really" , he said.
"Fine!! If you are not mine, then you have to do something for me", he said devilishly.
I knew that's what he wanted.
I was really smart and I will just succumb and act as if I agreed with him. But first let me hear his plans.
"So what do you want me to do for you", I pretended as I will listen to him.
" Yes! That's it, I love that", he smiled wickedly.
"You will extort a large amount of money from your boss", he said.
I looked at him dumbfounded.
Is he kidding me!!, I thought within myself.
No way!! Amanda you can't do that, A part of me said.
" If I don't do it, what will you do to me", I muttered, wanting to know what he will do because he is a very bad person and will do any fucking thing to get his way.
He walked closer to me and tugged my hair.
"If you don't do it! I will kill you", he said.
I swallowed hard not knowing what to say.
He smiled again and walked away from the room.
I was tired of this whole shit. I just prayed someone comes to my rescue.
Drake POV
I was worried sick about Amanda as I kept walking up and down in my room.
What is she facing now, I thought within myself.
I was totally angry with myself I couldn't do anything to help her out.
Max has tried comforting me, but I wasn't in the mood to listen to anyone.
I picked up my phone and tried her number again for the 25th time, but it's not going through.
I thought for a while and decided to call her friend Annie. I used the number she used to text me earlier.
I dialed her number and she picked on the first ring.
"Hello!!", She said.
"Hi! This is Drake Amanda's boss", I said.
"Woooow!! I have always wanted to talk with you", she squealed.
" Please just listen to me", I said annoyingly.
"Ok! Am listening", she said.
"Amanda is missing", I said clenching my jaw.
" She's what!!!!", She screamed.
" No!! Way!!!", She sobbed.
"Can we talk tomorrow", I asked her. I needed to get some information from her before I know what next to do.
"Ok!",she said crying now.
"Amanda will be fine", I said not sure of my words.
I hanged up and ran my hands through my hair. This is really confusing.
