After our passionate lovemaking session, we decided to revisit the place where our love story began. Those memories from the past still bring me immense joy, and reminiscing about them fills my heart with warmth.
We embarked on a horseback ride, Logan and I, making our way towards the majestic waterfall. As we reached our destination, we noticed that the falls had undergone some improvements. Logan must have known that we might return, so he took the initiative to have it restored. It's a testament to how much our favorite places mean to him.
Interestingly, we didn't opt for a traditional church wedding. Instead, we chose this enchanting waterfall as the backdrop for our special day. Perhaps I can attribute it to my love for Twilight, where Bella and Edward had their beautiful forest wedding. I couldn't resist the idea of a similarly enchanting ceremony. How bold of me, indeed!
As we stood by the waterfall, we couldn't resist immersing ourselves in the cool and refreshing water. I reminded Logan to be gentle, considering my body was still sore, especially in certain areas. Being the boss in this scenario, I got my way.
"The water feels so revitalizing and cool. I appreciate how this place has become even more beautiful. It just goes to show how much our cherished places mean to you," I expressed, overflowing with happiness.
"Absolutely, because there were times when I almost lost hope. I thought I might be the only one holding onto that glimmer of hope, that this opportunity might never come, and that it might be too late for everything. But I held onto that rope tightly. And finally, the day I've been eagerly waiting for arrived—the day you became mine," Logan responded, his words filling my heart with delight.
His words delighted me, but I couldn't help but playfully threaten him, "You're mine too, so don't even think about looking for someone else. If you dare, I'll crush your precious manhood until it turns into fine powder." It was evident that he felt a twinge of hurt from the vivid image I conjured up.
"Ouch, that sounds painful!" he complained.
"Then don't even think about it, alright?" I playfully retorted.
Everything felt joyful, and the beginning of my return to Clayland seemed promising. Although thoughts of my father occasionally crossed my mind, I made a conscious effort to avoid dwelling on them—for now, at least. The day will come when I have to face him in person.
After our adventure, hunger struck us both due to the physical exertion. We made our way back to the manor, where a hearty snack awaited us. Filipino-style spaghetti, with its sweet sauce, meaty beef or pork, and creamy cheese, delighted my taste buds.
Unable to contain my pleasure, I let out a moan that annoyed Logan. I could see his manhood being activated, and it amused me. Poor him, but he deserved it. Sometimes, my knees turn to jelly from the intense sensations we share.
As I mentioned earlier, I returned home first with Logan's driver. He had some matters to attend to but would join me later at our house.
As I journeyed home, a strange feeling gnawed at me. I spotted my mom waiting outside, her gaze fixed blankly on the plants.
"Mom, why are you still outside? It's late, and you might catch a cold," I voiced my concern.
She smiled faintly. "My child, when you go inside, please try to remain calm, okay? Don't act recklessly or go wild. Stay composed," my mom spoke with a sad and serene tone.
Just from her demeanor, I sensed what was happening. Is it already unfolding, this quickly?
What I had feared might be happening had caught up to me sooner than expected. The realization weighed heavily on me. Although I knew I would eventually have to face my father, the mere thought of seeing him felt like swallowing a thorny branch. It's an emotional burden, and with each step I took towards the entrance, the weight seemed to multiply, becoming almost unbearable.
Before our wedding, we celebrated with an engagement party, attended by both my family and the Lopez clan.
I had envisioned a simple affair, but it seemed simplicity was not in the vocabulary of the Lopez family. Being born into privilege, their grandeur came as no surprise.
This marked the beginning of my new life—a life where I would become a part of a powerful and wealthy clan. I am well aware that not everything that comes with being Logan's partner is advantageous. Criticism and invasions of privacy will undoubtedly come my way.
However, I have nothing but admiration for their family. Despite my initial apprehension due to my past, they welcomed me with open arms. I don't know what it is about this family, but their warm reception means more to me than anything else.
Logan stood beside me, having just proposed. He went above and beyond to make up for lost time. He promised to take charge of the wedding proposal, and he exceeded all my expectations.
Turning to him, I replied with a radiant smile, "Are you kidding? I couldn't be happier. You've made me the happiest person alive."
He really went above and beyond with the proposal. I won't delve into too many specifics, but it was truly extravagant. He even invited celebrities, and there was a literal helicopter involved, from which he descended to propose to me. He presented me with the most expensive diamond ring in the world, and while I appreciate the gesture, I would have preferred a simpler ring.
"I am overjoyed. Who wouldn't be ecstatic about marrying the person they love? In my case, I am marrying you because I deeply love you," I replied to him, my heart brimming with affection.
"I'm thrilled that you enjoyed my surprise, and I will never tire of surprising you until you fall even more deeply in love with me. No one will ever come between us because my love for you knows no bounds," he confidently declared.
"I know, I love you too. Perhaps even in death, we will remain inseparable. Life is too short, and I choose to share my happiness and eternity with you," I said, sealing my words with a kiss. That kiss encompassed everything I desired.
"But I have something to tell you," I said to him, my voice carrying a hint of seriousness.
"What is it? Is something wrong?" he asked, concern etched across his face.
