"Stop promising if yiu are not sure. I am not pressuring you. I can wait. Kahit gaano pa katagal yan kaya kong maghintay."
I don't know what will happen in the future. I don't want to keep her promise without being sure.
"Do you think I am not sure? I can give this back if you don't want."
Nakaramdam ako ng kaba ng umalma siyang tatanggalin ang singsing na ibinigay ko.
"What's your plan? After we left, what you will do? Stop hurting yourself. This is not a game that you need to win for you to stop. If you want to get married, okay fine. Let's get married now. Let's leave this place."
Ayoko ng nakikita siyang nawawala sa paningin sapagkat sa oras na mangyare yun ay hindi ko mapipigilan ang sarili kong hanapin siya. After everything change because of her Mom's death, I did everything to stay beside her even if my life got into danger.

Naramdaman ko pa ang sobrang lamig ng kaniyang kamay.

Hindi ko alam kung paano niya nagagawang pakabahin at pag alalahin ng sabay. Kung wala lamang sanang pagsubok sa buhay namin pareho ay nakasisiguro kong matagal na kameng magkasama sa isang bubong.
"Let's go inside now. I think you have colds."
Mabilis ko naman siyang inalalayan bago tinanggal ang suot na jacket bago inilagay sa balikat niya. Hindi man niya sabihin ramdam kong nilalamig siya.
"Ang ungentlemsn mo talaga. You should have given me that earlier."
"You need to rest."
"I can rest after you two go."
Napapabuntong hiningang inalalayan ko siya hanggang makapasok kame sa elevator.
"You want me to go?"
"I can't go with him."
"Fine. Go inside and I'm going to call my beloved brother."
Matapos kasing makarating sa pinto ng room ni Calvin ay nakaisip na agad ako ng plano para makabalik agad ako sa Pilipinas. Mas importante siy kaysa sa away namin ng magaling kong kapatid.
"Really? Good. Spend your time there with your brother while waiting. I heard he was maturing."
I shrug because of what he said. I can't tell her na babalik ako matapos masaayos ang kalagayan ni Calvin doon.
I needed to talk to that man to have a favor. She trusted him and I think I can trust him too.

"Hell-"
"Oh? Buhay ka pa pala? Kamusta?"
He's not that busy. He's kind of irritating even it was the first after a long time calling him.
"I am not calling you to know how I well. Is Calvin can be safe there?"
"Really? Did you call because of that? You are coming here so we can talk about that. Your girl can kill me if I am not sure about her brother's safety."
"Just the only thing I need. Let's talk later."
I ended the call and goes inside. I think it's better to talk to him personally. I don't even know if someone is hearing what I am saying.
"Be ready. The helicopter will be hereafter two hours."
Everything is silent when I go inside. The three siblings are there with Doctor Wilson checking something.
"Did you tell it to the Director?"
Napalingon ako kay Doc Wilson dahil sa may lamang sagot nito. I am not sure but I know that they knew something morethan I know.
"I will let you all know If I told it to him. Although he can know everything without telling it to him."
I started packing some of my clothes while still talking to them. Malinis ang intensyon kahit na may mga bagay na hindi ko magawang ipaalam lalo na kay Amber. Alam niyang may itinatago ako sa kaniya ngunit hindi niya ako pinipilit na magsalita patungkol doon. She's right. Na kahit pa naiisip niyanghuwag akong pagkatiwalaan, nagagawa niya pa rin akong pagkatiwalaan. She made a hard choice and that is to trust me.
Matagal na lumipas ang dalawang oras kahit na tumututol ang isip ko. Masyadong maraming gumugulo sa isip ko ngunit kinakailangan kong maisantabi muna pansamantala.
After two hours we decided to go upstairs dahil helicopter ang sasakyan namin papunta sa airport. We need to be careful to make sure everything is good.
Nang buksan ang pinto sa rooftop at makalabas ay natigilan kame ng makakita ng mga pamilyar na guwardya sa buong paligid. I can sense something is not funny here. They have guns on there hand. Para bang pinaghandaan nila ang pagpunta namin sa rooftop na ito.
"What's the meaning of this?" I said without hesitation.
"You can't go."
It was a familiar voice from afar. I kept telling myself that it wasn't them, not until we saw them walking in our direction.
"Nice to meet you again?"
Nagugulat akong napatingin ng magsalita di Director habang nakatingin sa likod ko.
"You looked not happy. Let the kid go and, with can negotiate after this."
"Why? He can be cured here. What's the matter?"
"Anong nangyayare ate? Bakit may mga nakatutok na baril sa atin?"
"Well, I am just curious why are you so loyal to that demon? You looked like poisoned by him."
The helicopter wasn't around like everything was planned.
Nagugulat akong napatingin sa baril matapos itutok sa akin ni Atty. Adams ang hawak nitong baril.
"Sometimes, I always thought this young man will be like you, Marcus. He's blind because of love."
Doon nagsimulang umusbong ang kaba ko dahil sa baril na nakatutok pa din sa mukha ko.
"Why do you need my brother? Is it because of money? Reputation? Or having this building?"
"He is the heirs. Your grandmother died last week. I think your grandfather needs someone to rely on. This is the great opportunity to have him as the major stockholders."
"So?"
"You are referring to money?"
"No, I need you to be killed."
