Chapter 46.Escaping the Mirror Dimension (Part Three)

"Crimson Blood Technique." Vampika’s eyes swept over the dead body of 03. "Ten Million Vermilion Piercings." A smile crept over her face. She had won flawlessly, just as she expected. Her ability is supreme fluid control. It’s SSS rank, of course. Her techniques further boost the effect.

"Hihihihi, maybe I should go check on Delta. She seems pretty worn out," she thought. The earth beneath her feet began to rumble. Stone pebbles started to rise with an eerie green glow around them. 03’s body developed into a green, mucky fluid. His skeleton rose to its feet as if it were being pulled up by strings.

"An undead. Hihihihi, and a skeleton knight no less." Vampika’s spirit energy flared in her moment of excitement.

Higher-class undead like skeleton commanders can wear flesh and possess blood. They can also turn over into their skeleton forms if they are killed in their flesh form. Their main abilities can only be accessed when they are in their undead form.

Slash...

Vampika tilted her head back. Her crimson eyes glowed more than usual. "That arm is going to cost you dearly." The flesh around her armless shoulder began to enlarge. She regrew an arm with little to no effort. "Let’s see how many more arms you can regrow." 03 tightened his grip around his sword.

They both lunged forward at each other. 03’s sword collided with Vampika’s nails. Their collision unleashed a gust that blew off the rooftops of the nearby buildings.

"Not to mention I have an ace up my sleeve. This battle will inevitably end in my favour." He grinned. 03 had established that Vampika had lost the upper hand given her current handicap. He was in his undead form, so there was no blood for her to manipulate within him.

"What is this? How can this be possible?" Chills were sent down his spine. Undead are ranked from weakest to higher tier. But another rank of undead existed—the God-tier rank. None had ever managed to reach this rank nor seen any undead entity who had attained it. So it went down as a myth.

"My eyes must be deceiving me. This cannot be possible. It must be a trick, yes, a trick." 03 lost his cool completely. He placed a hand over his skull, green eyes rolling haphazardly. His grip on the sword loosened. His hand began to shake. "Is this fear?" Undead were not supposed to have emotions, you say? Anything that has a soul possesses emotions.

choices—either surrender or retreat. The latter was the best option in this situation. "Even if I surrender, will she spare me?" he thought. "No, I cannot abandon my pride." He gripped his sword. "I would rather die as a proud warrior than a coward." He lunged forward at her with everything he had. 03 infused his weapon with every ounce of spirit energy he had left.

Clack...

"Is this all you have got?" Vampika’s spirit energy erupted. Its force flung 03 into a building.

She opened her palms slowly. Blood gathered, forming a crimson spear. It impaled 03, locking him to the ground. Vampika rose up to the crimson skies. She brought her umbrella forward. "Never you, in your next life cycle, touch the body of a Goddess." Numerous blood spears of different sizes filled the skies.
