Chapter Grabbed

Lucia's POV.

I don't know when I fell asleep after ending the call with Damon. I woke up when my stomach growled and I found myself very hungry. I pushed the covers off of me and stepped on to the floor.

I walked into the washroom and washed my face. As I wiped my face with my towel, someone walked into the room. I turned around and a smile touched my face when I saw Damon standing by my door. His eyes found me and he walked towards me with a small smile on his face.

"Hey." He walked towards me. I turned around and he wrapped his large arms around me, pulling me closer to his chest. My arms wrapped around his torso.

"Hi." I smiled at him. He dipped his head down and pecked me on the lips. “How was the mall?" I asked.

"It was fine." He said and caressed my sides.

“You hate malls. What did you go there for?" I asked him. A smile formed on his lips as he stared at me. "What?" I asked, shyly.

"Nothing. It was just important." He said and released me from his grip. He walked towards the bed and sat on it. "Did you have your lunch?" He asked and I shook my head, no. He scowled before shaking his head.

"I fell asleep. I'm going to eat now. Will you eat?” I asked and he shook his head. I nodded.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you." He said, grabbing my attention.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm leaving for London first thing tomorrow morning." He looked at me and my heart sank into my stomach.

"Oh, no, no. I'll be back by night. Just need to go and sign some important papers." He got up and pulled me into his arms. "I'm not leaving you." He answered my thoughts.

For a second I was shit scared that he was going to leave again. We just got back together, I couldn't afford him leaving me and the kids again. We've been far apart for way too long. I don't want him to leave us again.

"I'm not leaving.” He stressed the words and I nodded. He placed his lips on mine and kissed me. It was kind of a promise that he was going to return and it sealed in my heart. He pulled away after a few seconds, leaving me breathless. "Okay?" He asked and I nodded. "Say it out baby.” He kissed the corner of my lips.

"Okay." I said.

"I'm taking you out tonight. Be ready by eight. I got the dress, shoes and something else. Put them on and be ready." He instructed me as if I was some eight years old.

"I never agreed to go with you on a date.” I teased him. "Because you didn't ask me.” A smile tugged at my lips.

"Are you saying that I need to ask you before I can take you out on a date?" He asked, faking anger.

"Exactly!" I grinned at him.

 "Oh yeah?" He repeated.

"Yes, that's what a gentleman does."

His next move made me jump as he pushed me onto the bed and climbed on top of me, straddling my waist. My heart race sped up.

He pinned my hands above my head with one of his hands and the other one crawled its way down to my sides. "Yeah?" He asked again, this time, with a raspy tone that sent a message of desire through my body.  I didn't reply, I couldn't reply. I was way too hitched of breath to form an understandable sentence.

 "Answer me, baby." He ordered.

"Yes." I whispered. He smirked lightly before starting to tickle my sides. I gasped as he worked his fingers on my sides.

"Damon!. Stop! Oh my god. Please!!" I begged in between laughter. He smiled at me and continued to torture me.

“You are mine, I don't need to ask you before taking you out." He grinned and continued to tickle me.

"Fine! Fine. Please, stop." I whined. He stopped and grinned at me while I glared at him, breathing heavily. "I hate you." I frowned at him. He bent slightly and covered my mouth with his.

"Lying is bad, Lucia." He murmured against my lips and kissed me again. His mouth claimed mine as he traced my lower lip with his tongue. I opened my doors, and granted him the entrance he seeked and he explored my mouth with his tongue.

"That's enough.” I pushed at his chest and he groaned. "Your parents are down there and the kids are across the hallway." I whispered and kissed his jaw before pushing him off of me.

"Maybe we could try making love without screaming. I need you now, Lucia." He tugged at my hand as he lay on the bed. I freed my hand from his grasp.

"No, Damon." I refused even though I wanted so much for him to continue. He groaned and I walked out of the room to get something for my stomach.

in the evening*

"Lucy! We are going to be late!" Damon groaned as I looked at myself in the mirror, getting ready for the date Damon had planned for us.

"I'm coming!” I answered while applying some lip stain. When I finished, I gave myself one more look in the mirror and I marveled at my reflection. I walked out of the room but stopped in my tracks when my eyes fell on him. He was wearing my favorite royal blue Suit and dress pants with a white shirt inside and he looked deliciously perfect.

I always loved this color on him and he looked amazing in it tonight. He always does. His expression was the same, as he took in my look. He chose a perfect dress for the night and thankfully it fitted perfectly as if it had been tailored specifically for me alone.

“You look so... beautiful, baby." He approached me with a smile on his handsome face. I looked down trying to stop myself from blushing and ignoring all the butterflies in my stomach. He was standing a foot away from me and I could feel his glaring eyes on me.

His fingers brushed against my arm as he brought his hand closer to my face. He tipped my chin up with his forefinger and thumb so that I could look him in the eye. And as my eyes met his, a smile tugged at my lips and then I smiled widely. He did the same and then leaned down to kiss me.

“I must confess, you look very beautiful in this dress, but I would love to rip it off tonight." He smirked lightly and I hit his chest.

"Damon!" I squealed and we both laughed.

"Come on, let's go." He kissed my head and took my hand in his. We both walked out saying goodbye to Julietta, Stavros, and the kids. All of them were smiling widely and the kids... looked very happy,

And that's all I've ever wanted.

Suddenly, Damon's phone buzzed and he pulled it out of his pocket and scowled when he saw the caller ID. He answered the call.

"What is it?” He snapped, his eyebrows furrowed as he listened to the people on the other side. "What?" His face turned pale all of a sudden. "I can't come now." He sighed. "But-" He stopped talking when the caller said something. "Okay, fine." He snapped and ended the call.

What's happening? "What is it?" I was curious to know what was happening. He looked so stressed and I was concerned about him.

“What happened?" I pressed further.

"Lucy, I am so sorry. But I need to go. I have some work to take care of before leaving for London tomorrow.” He paused and looked like he was in deep thought.

"Oh, Damon. That's okay. Go, they need you there. It might be very important." I rubbed his arms. "We can go to this... wherever you are taking me after you return." I smiled at him. "Come on, go now."

"I'm sorry, Lucy." He continued to apologize, he looked so upset. "I just-" I placed a finger on his lips, shushing him.

"It's okay, Damon," I repeated. "Really." I squeezed his arms gently. He nodded and kissed my forehead.

"I'll see you later, bye. I love you." He walked out in a hurry.

"Dear, are you okay," Julietta walked up to me.

"No Julietta, I am not upset. It’s fine really. I'm just gonna go change and then I'll prepare dinner." I said and walked upstairs.

Once changed and I wiped out my little makeup. I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen. The kids were in the living room, laughing at something that was being Played on TV.

I smiled and walked into the kitchen. As I collected the pan and all the ingredients and vegetables, Julietta entered the kitchen.

"I'll help you." She said and collected the bowl of vegetables from the counter and started chopping them before I could even protest.

Half an hour later, we both were done and it ended pretty well. We called the kids and Starvos and served the food to them and then ourselves. While we ate, I texted Damon.

To Damon:

Is everything okay? Let me know.

I didn't get a reply immediately so I assumed that he was busy. I let it slide even though I had the feeling that there was something wrong.

"Darling, are you okay?" Stavros asked, pulling me from my thoughts. I looked up at him. "You haven't touched your food." He observed.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Just worried about Damon." I admitted and he smiled.

"He will be fine. Don't worry. Eat your dinner." He said and resumed eating his food. I nodded and started eating. My phone buzzed and I immediately assumed it was Damon but when I checked my phone, it was a message from Liam.

From Liam

Damon, you, Sophie, and me. Double date tomorrow? Lunch and fishing.

How are you by the way? And kids?

I smiled at his text and replied immediately.

To Liam

Not possible. Damon is going to London tomorrow for some work.

The kids and I are good.

I set the mobile aside and finished the bowl of almost untouched pasta in front of me. I collected the empty plates and vessels and put them in the dishwasher. After cleaning the counter and replying to a few more texts from Liam I went up to the kids' bedroom. It was already nine thirty and the kids were playing. I joined them.

"Hey, guys," I said and entered the room.

"Mommy!" They squealed and I couldn't help but laugh. "Did daddy come back?" Emma asked.

“Not yet. But he will come back." I replied. “What are you doing?" I asked them.

“Daddy bought us some toys." Emma looked down, in guilt.

"I said no toys.” I sighed. “It's fine now. Let's see what you got." I said and they both grinned from ear to ear.

Evan showed me a small BMW remote control car and he drove it with the remote. Emma showed me her new Barbie set where the Barbie had twelve dresses and six pairs of shoes matching the dresses. Half an hour later the kids fell asleep and I carried them to their beds. I pulled the blankets over them and walked out of their room. I checked my mobile if there was any message from Damon, but there was none, yet.

I walked into my room and the bathroom. I took a shower to calm myself down and get out of the bathroom once I was done. I dried my hair and wrapped my robe around myself. I walk towards the bed and lay down, pulling the covers over me.

I checked my phone once again but still, there was nothing from Damon. Only a text from Kai, one of my co-workers. I ignored her text and shut my phone with an uneasy feeling in my heart.
