Meanwhile, Ethan could push Constantine to the corner. While Constantine was bleeding all over. His movement was slower and slower. Unfortunately, Ethan was wounded too, but he was in much better condition than Constantine.
But then Constantine shape-shifted back into the human form. “Time-out!” He gestured his hand, showing the T-shape. Then he walked to the side, wearing his clothes back.
Ethan also changed himself back to human, gathered his clothes, and dressed up again.
I ran to Ethan and hugged him. “Ethan! You came for me!” I cried and smiled simultaneously.
“Of course, my love. Freya was worried so much about you.” He glanced at Constantine, who sat on the floor. “Let’s go home.”
I nodded. Victoria approached Constantine. But then, he ignored her when she wanted to wipe Constantine’s wound, even turning his body away from her. Victoria’s face was disappointed and gloomy.
I could feel how hurt Victoria was right now. “Can we bring Victoria with us? Can she stay at your villa or in our pack?” I pleaded to Ethan, whispering, “She is in a miserable situation like now because she saved me. If she ignored me and let Constantine assault me, he wouldn’t hate and dump her.”
“Yes, we can bring her with us. She can stay at our villa.” Ethan kissed my forehead. “If she didn’t come to me and pointed the way here, I might come too late.”
I nodded and then smiled from ear to ear. “Thank you! Thank you!”
Ethan hugged me. “Anything for you, my love. I’m glad you are okay.”
“I’m okay,” I said, then repeated it, “I’m okay.” Though frankly, I was still trauma because Constantine attempted to rape me. But because Ethan was with me, I was much better now.
But then, unexpectedly, Constantine attacked Ethan. In his hand, he held a knife. He tried to stab Ethan with the knife.
“Ethan!” I screamed and pushed Ethan. Later, I instinctively pointed my finger at Constantine, and the fog formed and flew like a bullet toward Constantine.
Victoria darted in front of Constantine, and the fog hit her chest without mercy. She threw up blood.
“Victoria! Why do you protect Constantine?” I ran to Victoria, who fell to the floor. “He has rejected you, but why do you still love him?” Tears flew from my eyes to my cheeks. “Victoria ….”
Victoria threw up blood again. Then suddenly, I felt cold air in my direction. Before I could move, the sound of metal fell on the floor.
Then Constantine screamed, “You!” A knife stabbed Constantine’s chest. Ethan did it.
Ethan immediately pulled me to his side. “Are you okay? Constantine tried to kill you.”
I nodded, but later, I turned my body to see Victoria’s condition.
Ethan held my hand and shook his head. “Stay here.”
Later, Victoria opened her mouth and said, “C-Constantine ….” Her hand raised in the air, trembling, then, as if she had no energy left, the hand fell to her side.
Victoria crawled toward Constantine. She threw up blood in the middle to reach him. Now, both Constantine and Victoria lay side by side on the floor.
Then Constantine pulled the knife from his chest. Later, blood flew from his chest. “Drink my blood! Hurry!” He crawled on the floor too.
Victoria shook her head and fell since she had no energy left. Constantine finally grabbed her body, pulled her on his chest, and opened her mouth.
“Open your mouth and drink my blood, please. Victoria, hurry!”
She shook her head again, but this time, she smiled. “I don’t think I can survive any longer. My time has come ….”
“What are you talking about? First, you will give birth to our baby. Then, I will marry you.”
Victoria raised her trembling hand to Constantine’s face. “Being able in your arms again, I have no regrets. Kiss me for the last time, Constantine. I-I l-love y-you ….”
Constantine kissed Victoria’s lips, then opened his mouth and let the blood from his chest flow to her mouth. She tasted his blood for a few seconds, but it was not enough. Victoria then closed her eyes forever. Her lips smiled as if she were happy to die in the arms of the man she loved.
“Victoria! Open your eyes! Don’t leave me!” Constantine screamed, “I love you! Please, come back to me.” But then he coughed, and after a while, he lay beside Victoria, hugging her. Maybe he ran out of blood, or maybe Victoria’s death finally affected him. Then he closed his eyes and passed away too.
I cried to see their deaths. So, I raised my hands and said, “Fog, please bind their souls together. Then, if there is another life for them, may their souls find each other, and their love will find a way to be together.”
The fog formed from my hands and then surrounded Constantine and Victoria. It was getting thicker and thicker. Finally, after a few minutes, the mist shone, then it vanished. So did Constantine and Victoria.
“What happened?” Red ran towards me. “Did you control the fog?”
I nodded. “Yes. I knew and learned it here under pressure.” Then I smiled. “I have many things I want to tell Ethan.” Later, I grabbed Ethan’s hand. “Let’s go home.” But then I stared at where Constantine and Victoria lay before. “I wish it could end differently.”
“I didn’t mean to kill Constantine either.” Ethan sighed and hugged me. “Yet he wanted to kill you. I couldn’t stop myself from doing it.” He shook his head. “If time could be repeated, I think I would do the same.”
“All has happened. We can’t change what has happened.” I snuggled my head into his chest and hugged his waist.
Ethan nodded. “I know. The option is you or him who would die. I only wanted to protect you.”
“I know. Let’s go home now.”
Ethan glanced at Red. “Will you come with us?”
Red shook his head. “I’ll follow later. You two can go ahead, Alpha.”
I smiled at Red. He might do that to give us privacy.
“We’ll leave now, Red. See you tomorrow in the villa.”
“Yes, Alpha. No need to hurry. Enjoy your time with Luna.”
