Red drove the car to the villa. It was crowded, so it took time until finally, we got there. Then Red opened the door for my mother and me. When I stood to walk inside, it stunned me to see how beautiful the villa was.
Colorful roses decorated the path to the door. The rose fragrance filled the air. Later, Stacy opened the door. She wore a white dress too.
“Oh, Helena! Look at you! You are gorgeous!”
I smiled. “So are you! Did you buy it for my wedding?”
She nodded. “Yes, because you know me. I can’t stand the last-minute shopping. Now, I’m glad I have bought it. How about you?”
“It’s my mom’s doing.” I glanced at my mother. “She bought it for me for a wedding present. Who would guess that it came at the perfect time? So I can wear it tonight.”
“Oh, Freya, it’s a lovely dress indeed!”
My mother hugged Stacy. “Thank you for coming tonight.”
“I won’t miss Helena’s wedding. I’m her bride’s maid.”
Then someone coughed. When we turned around, Ethan stood, then waited for us. When we stared at each other, his smile was broader.
He approached me, took my hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it tenderly. “I thought you were a nymph who came to the earth to bless us with your beauty.”
I giggled and touched his chest. “I have never known that my mate is such a charming man with sweet words.”
“Because of you, my love, I can be who I am today.” Then he nodded at my mother, Stacy, and Red. “Let’s start the wedding ceremony, shall we?”
We walked to the villa. The living room was changed into a small wedding room with roses and candlelights filling the room.
I held Ethan’s hand and whispered, “Is it Ernie’s doing?”
“Ernie and some she-wolves who helped her.”
Then, as if it was ordered, Ernie and a few she-wolves appeared. “Congratulations, Alpha! Congratulations, Luna!”
“Thank you so much!” I grinned. It was a perfect day for the wedding, as my beloved people surrounded me.
Then Red took charge. He cleared his throat. “We’ll start the wedding ceremony. Please the bride and the groom to step forward. The rest can sit and be the witnesses of the wedding.” He nodded at my mom. “Mrs. Ross, please hold Luna’s hand and give it to our Alpha.”
“No, you’re wrong!” Stacy protested. “They should walk first, then Freya should hand over Helena to Ethan in the end.”
“Oh, okay.” Then Red grinned at Ernie. “Music, please?”
Then soft music filled the room as my mom and I walked toward Ethan. His eyes stared at me, shining with admiration and appreciation.
When my mother gave my hand to Ethan, she wept. “Please take care of Helena for me.”
“No worries, mom. I will.”
They hugged each other. I wiped my eyes with tissue since, after twenty-two years, I would finally leave the house.
Then I hugged my mom. “Thank you for everything, mom. I love you.”
“Thank you for being my daughter, sweetheart. I love you.”
Then I stood beside Ethan. His arm circled my waist.
He muttered beside me, “You look amazing! You also smell great! I can’t wait to open your dress and make you mine.”
I blushed upon hearing that but nodded. “Thank you.” Ethan was breath-taking with his black tuxedo. This handsome man would be mine thoroughly after tonight.
Red cleared his throat. “If I didn’t stop you two, we might not finish the ceremony on time. Later, the bride and groom. You may mate with each other after the ceremony.”
Ethan laughed out loud until his head bent back a little. Ernie and other she-wolves also laughed. Stacy and my mom giggled at each other.
“Okay, sorry for the interruption. Let’s begin the wedding vows. Alpha Ethan Cross, Duke Firebury, you may say your wedding vows.”
“Thank you, Red.” Ethan held my waist with both hands, then stared at me. “I have never guessed I would end with a blonde woman with blue eyes, but then here I am with the most beautiful woman in the world. Helena Starr, you rock my world. From the first time I met you, I have known you are my mate. Yet, our journey together isn’t easy.” He stopped for a few seconds. “Having you is the greatest blessing from the Highest One for me. To your mom, our mom now, I have promised that I’ll take care, protect, respect, and love you for the rest of my life.”
I wiped my tears with a tissue. Then, I saw my mom and Stacy wipe their eyes from the corner of my eyes.
“Now, in front of all present here, I promise you the same. Helena Starr, you are and will be the only one for me: my love, mate, and Luna. I will love, protect, care for, respect, and cherish you for the rest of my life. Thank you for giving me the honor and happiness of being your mate.”
Again, I wiped my tears. Ethan also wiped my tears with his handkerchief. He smiled at me and whispered, “Even when you cry, you still look gorgeous, my nymph.”
I giggled and then waited for Ethan to put on the ring on my ring finger.
Then Red said, “Now, Luna Helena Starr, you may say your wedding vows.”
I smiled at Red, then looked into Ethan’s eyes. “When it is destiny, we can’t run no matter how far we try. You have been my savior from the first until now. You turned my life upside down. With you, I can give up everything. I have been through the worst since I left you. But fate brought us together again.” I wiped my tears. “Being with you, I’m sure I can go through anything. Finally, I discovered my real self. I believe we will grow more together in the years to come.”
Ethan bent his head and wiped his tears with his hand.
“From the time you marked me, and I marked you, I have accepted and believed that our souls have joined in one. Ethan Cross, I promise to respect, honor and love you for the rest of my life. Wherever you go, I’ll go. I know we can conquer everything together. Thank you for giving me the happiness and the honor of being your mate.” Then I put on the wedding ring on Ethan’s ring finger.
“As we all have witnessed of the wedding vows exchange, now Alpha Ethan and Luna Helena are no longer two, but one. Whoever the Highest One unites, no one may separate. Therefore, I pronounce you Alpha and Luna as man and wife. So, Alpha, you may kiss your bride.”
Then Ethan pulled me to his chest, and we shared a deep kiss. We kissed for a few minutes until Red, Ernie, Stacy, and the rest of the she-wolves shouted, whistled, and teased us.
