His grip on her neck tightened and she gasped for air, she could feel his fingers beginning to grow out and pierce into her skin, drawing blood.
"You knew!" He looked at her now and fear washed over her. She knew that if she was to escape this time with her life, it would be at his mercy.
"Jeremy..." She choked.
"You fucking knew she was my child!" He yelled and tossed her.
Cheryl flew across the living room, crashing into the other side of the wall before landing on the floor ungracefully. She groaned and screamed as she had broken an arm, but was quick to sit up, resting her back against the wall.
She craddled her broken arm and fixed her eyes on Jeremy who still stood where he had been. He had his back to her, both arms were fisted at his side and his body heaved up and down as he breathed.
"Cheryl," he called out to her in a voice that was suspiciously calm. Cheryl got on alert but she didn't reply to him, she was breathing hard and trying to suppress the pain she was feeling all around her body.
"What do I do to you now that would make you learn and calm you down?" He asked.
She hummed in pain and her breathing came out rasp, fast and unnatural. She swallowed and sniffed then placed her good hand on the floor to help her body up to her feet. She groaned and struggled as she did.
"Cheryl," he called again.
"I will protect this marriage at all cost Jeremy," she said and Jeremy turned to face her, "I will not allow Donna break us up."
"What had the child got to do with this marriage?" He asked. His voice was still calm but Cheryl knew anger still brewed powerfully inside of him. She could see it in his eyes.
Cheryl gritted her teeth and heaved. She shut her mouth and chose not to answer, her answer just might remind him of his mother and double the anger he was bottling up inside of him.
The child was involved in every way, she was the one thing that Cheryl would nevrr be able to give to the Xiu house - a child. It was the one thing Donna had over her and was one way she could come back into Jeremy's life, into the Xiu house and have her kicked out.
"Draining you of blood won't suffice this time," he said to her as he slowly approached her. Cheryl pressed her back into the wall and still craddled her broken arm. Jeremy continued, "I don't even know what I want to do to you."
"Jeremy," Cheryl sniffed and called out to him as her approached her as a predator would approach its prey, "Are you doing this because of Donna?"
He growled and blurred to her but didn't touch her. Cheryl gasped in fear and whimpered. He was standing close to her, too close she could feel his breath on her face.
"You touched my daughter, Cheryl. A child you know you cannot give to me or the Xiu household," he said to her and she shut her eyes as the tears continued to come. Of course he would remember that, "And you knew exactly what she was!"
"I only suspected," she said.
He hissed, "Defanging you might be a better option, or better yet feed you to those who seek your blood for vengeance."
Cheryl turned her face away and continued to whimper and sob. Jeremy looked down and saw that she was craddling one hand. He grabbed the hand and pulled on it, Cheryl's eyes flew open and she screamed out in pain, grabbing on to the arm.
"It's broken," he was not asking, merely stating but Cheryl replied him anyway.
"It is," she whimpered and held on to her arm but Jeremy wouldn't let go and she could not pull it out of his grasp, she feared what he would do b
"Did I hurt you Cheryl?" He asked sarcastically and Cheryl frowned. Briefly. Discreetly.
He pulled on it again and Cheryl screamed.
"It hurts?" He asked again and squeezed, forcing her back down to the floor on her knees.
"Jeremy please!" She begged. The bone was not exactly broken to be visible, more like cracked and it hurt like hell.
"Do you know what kind of trauma you might have caused Alix to go through? The pain Donna felt as a mother?" He chuckled as he said that, "No, you wouldn't know that, you're not a mother. Can never be."
Cheryl whimpered and shut her eyes, "I'm sorry, please Jeremy. Please."
"You'll do it again, you always repeat your mistakes," he smirked and a thought came into his head and he squeezed tighter, "I should take them away."
He flexed his writs and Cheryl's lower arm snapped into two, the scream that followed was shrill and filled the house. She grabbed on to Jeremy's hand as she whimpered and sobbed. She could feel her arm pulsating with pain, it was excruciatingly painful.
"That was rather satisfying," he said with a smirk and a laugh. He grabbed onto her other hand and her head came up as she looked at him painfully. He looked down at her, "Another? Shall we?"
Cheryl cried and shook her head, she could not bear that kind of pain. Her broken arm was still within his grip and he held her other hand with the intent of breaking it too. She shook her head and begged this time.
"Jeremy please no," she whimpered, "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, please don't. It hurts."
"I'm not the one you should apologize to," he said to her calmly.
"I'll apologize!" She screamed out, "I'll apologize immediately, I'll do it! Just please, don't."
He smiled down at her, she really did look helpless kneeling at his feet. Her tears and pleading made him feel like he was the villain here. He shook his head, "Maybe with this you'll learn this time. You'll learn."
He flexed his wrist and with the snapping of bones, another shrill cry rang through the house.
