We looked through the paper together, and we saw that there were three flats available for rent in this region. I crawled back on the bed with him. They were fully equipped, which was a relief given that we had nothing to bring with us. Two of the rooms had two beds each, while the other had one. I called Susan, and Henry was on the phone with the real estate brokers, setting up viewings for this afternoon.
"Hey Rach" I said,
"Oh, I've been so concerned about you these past few days! How did it go?" she inquired. Before responding, I took a few slow, deep breaths.
I responded with a mournful tone, "Err not too good, we're in a motel and today we're going apartment hunting if that offers you your answer."
She heaved a sigh She uttered those words with intent, "Oh no, I'm so sorry."
"Yeah, don't worry about it. Do you think it's possible for you to grab anything that I miss from school today, and could you also ask Jerry to do the same for Henry?" I inquired while shoving the remaining portion of my doughnut into my mouth.
She greeted him with a "Yeah, well sure, would you be in tomorrow?"
After giving it some thought, I responded honestly by saying, "I don't know; I guess it depends on the apartment hunt." As I stood up and followed Henry as he went to the restroom butt na**d, I replied, "I'd best go, thanks, and I'll speak to you tomorrow, ok?" Oh my my, my spouse is so delicious!
"Yeah ok see ya" she said hanging up.
I immediately got to my feet and dashed to the bathroom so I could watch Henry shower. "Are you just going to watch me, or are you going to climb in here and wash my back?" "Are you just going to watch me?" He stated it in such a sexy way that it made my insides wriggle. I got to my feet, stripped off all of my clothes as quickly as I could, and rushed into the bathroom to get into the shower, taking care not to get the cast wet.
A few of hours later, while we were strolling down the high street, Henry informed us that he needed to take care of something immediately. He forced me to follow him into the bank and asked, "Why are we even in here?" I inquired in a daze, and he grinned at me before dragging me to the closest free banking assistant he could find.
He addressed the woman by saying, "Hello, I have an account with you, I just got married recently therefore I wanted to add my wife onto my account please." He said that he already had an account with the company.
She made a remark to the effect that "You two are a little young to get married," and then she grinned.
Henry cracked a grin. He gave me a shrug and remarked, "Some people think so," while he clenched my palm strongly.
She smiled as she explained, "Ok, I'll need proof of who you are, such like a bankers card and driving license for both of you, plus your marriage certificate." Henry handed her all of the pertinent items, and she immediately began the process of amending Henry's account to include me in the transaction. Due to the fact that we did not have a permanent address, we would need to return to the store in a few of days in order to retrieve my cards.
We were still responsible for determining whether or not our marriage was valid, but at this point, that was not one of our top priorities. It didn't really make a difference whether or not it was legal, because even if it wasn't, we'd just do it again when I was old enough to participate in the activity. First and first, we have to address the overall problem of homeless people. Once we had gotten established into our new home, there was plenty of time for us to go check it out.
Before making our way to the first apartment, we hastily went and purchased a lunch, which we then ate in the park. It was one of the two beds, and we had just entered in the door when Henry laughed, turned around, and walked out of the room. "Nope, not for us," he muttered as he pulled me back out of the door. The previous tenant was a heavy smoker, and it showed in the apartment; the walls were damaged and the ceilings were yellow where they had been exposed to secondhand smoke.
We moved on to the next one because the beds in the other two were equally uncomfortable. Oh no, it looks like we won't be able to find a place for a very long time! Henry gave me a dissatisfied look as he gazed into his own head; it was clear that he was thinking the same thing I was. We followed the real estate agent to the final apartment that we needed to look at today.
If this one didn't work out, we would possibly have to look a little further out, but we couldn't go too far out because Henry had already been offered an apprenticeship as an engineer with a really great company, and he needed to be able to commute. It was his dream career, and after two years of training he would be making a really nice salary. He would be fully trained in the profession in two years.
When we pulled up in front of the next apartment complex, I was taken aback by how good it appeared from the street. It was tidy, and the surrounding neighborhood was pleasant; there were two parking spaces that were specifically reserved for us, as well as a small garden area that we shared with the other three residents of the building. As we made our way up to the first floor to apartment 2A, I gave Henry a quick glance and noticed that he had a somewhat upbeat expression on his face.
I was attempting to contain my excitement in the event that the interior did not live up to the promise of the exterior, but as soon as the door was opened, my joy overflowed. The corridor was excellent; it was plain cream in color, and it had a wooden floor. There were doors in the hallway that led off to the bedroom, the kitchen, the bathroom, and the lounge.
I noted that everything was cream, and that the apartment had a wood floor throughout, but that there were rugs in each room to make it feel cozier. Also, the apartment had a cream color scheme throughout. The apartment was completely furnished, meaning that it had everything (with the exception of bed linens and towels), so we were able to actually move in right away.
The real estate agent told us that we would be able to renovate the apartment if we wanted to, which made the prospect even more appealing. I could hear Henry talking to the agent about the monthly bills, which apparently were included in the rent, but I was too busy looking through every cabinet and draw in the kitchen to pay attention to what they were saying because I was focusing on all of the pots, pans, and dishes that we would have access to in the new place. I could imagine Henry and myself living here contentedly for the rest of our lives since it was the ideal setting.
I looked at Henry while attempting to contain my joy and keep from jumping up and down. "You like this one?" he asked with a satisfied smile on his face. When I responded in the affirmative, he laughed and turned to the agent. After shaking hands with the other person, he announced, "We'll take it." We had to go back into the agent's office in an hour with the deposit, and after we did that, we could take possession of the property.
Because it was getting late in the day and our parents would soon be arriving home from work, we came to the conclusion that it would be best to put off retrieving our belongings until the next day. We went back to the motel and paid for another night there. While we were there, the same woman was blatantly flirting with Henry, which made me giggle.
I pushed him aggressively and forced him to sit on the side of the bed as soon as we entered through the door into our room "Whoa! Samantha Bear Jeez, is somebody getting a little bit impatient here? "he questioned smirking. I gave him a seductive grin and turned the television to the music channel. Fortunately for me, there was an R&B song by J Sean playing on the station. I started to take off my clothes one by one, which made his eyes go wide and caused a bulge to start appearing in his jeans as I danced seductively to the beat and ground against him.
He moaned and grabbed me, then threw me down on the bed with some force. I was laughing so hard that I was out of breath as I threw both my arms and legs around him and pulled him closer to me. I giggled as he "marked his territory" on my neck as usual while he remarked, "You really are amazing you know." He did this while trailing little kisses down my neck. "You really are amazing you know."
After waiting an hour, we went into the agent's office where we signed the lease for the apartment and put down the deposit for the first six months. After we had both signed our names, Henry picked me up off the ground and pulled me into the air. I encircled him with my arms and legs as he laughed and spun us around in a circle. I could not contain my excitement as I shrieked out, "I can't believe that as of tomorrow we will officially be moving into our own apartment!"
He kissed me passionately, and I kissed him back with all the hunger I could muster. After putting me back on my feet, he remarked, "How about we go out for dinner to celebrate?"
I responded with a cheery, "Yeah, yeah, why not?"
We talked joyfully the whole way to the closest restaurant about what colors we would paint our apartment, and I was even starting to get excited about going grocery shopping. We strolled there hand in hand. Henry revealed that, bless him, he had never even been grocery shopping before.
We found a table, and then placed our food orders. "We still need to go get our stuff, so we'll have to chose a time when my Dad and James will be at work so there's no more trouble," he joked, after we had placed our orders for the food.
I laughed as I narrowed my eyes at him and shook my head. "Don't say that," I said, shaking my head. "You never know, you might be tempting fate."
"Hey, we'll need to get some bed sheets and towels and everything tomorrow too," he continued, sporting a broad grin on his face and appearing really content. "We'll also need to get other items tomorrow," he said.
My phone called when we were finishing up our dessert, and when I checked the caller ID, I saw that it was Blake. I stood there staring at it in disbelief because, with all that had occurred over the course of the previous few days, I had totally forgotten about him. "Are you going to respond to that?" Henry inquired beaming at me. I coughed and shook my head as he questioned, "What's wrong, Samantha bear?" while reaching out his hand for the phone. "What's wrong?"
I was unable to articulate myself, so I handed him the phone instead. He sputtered and jerked the receiver open before asking, "What the hell are you doing calling her?" Anger caused him to spit on the phone, and then he merely clenched his teeth and slammed the phone down, all while shouting curse words to himself under his breath. After he had handed the phone back to me, I could only stare at him in shock. Why on earth would Blake want to get in touch with me?
After everything that has taken place, he really is completely insane. Henry snarled, "He hung up," while clinching his teeth fiercely. "He hung up." He took my hand in his and began absentmindedly fidgeting with my wedding band before saying, "We need to go back to the police."
I nodded, "But not today, is that okay? I beg you, sweetheart, please don't let anything more go wrong; I just can't take any more of Henry "I responded by making a puppy dog look at him.
He heaved a sigh before saying, with a harsh tone and while staring at me carefully, "Ok great, but if he calls again we go directly to the police okay." I couldn't help but grin because, honestly, I was so in love with my hubby.
My phone rang once more, and Henry grabbed it in an angry rage before looking at the caller id and calming down enough to say, "It's your Mom Samantha bear," as he handed it back to me. "It's your Mom Samantha bear," he smiled sadly.
I responded to the call in a hurry with a cheery "Hey" and said how relieved I was to hear from her because I hadn't anticipated being able to communicate with her again so soon after what James had said this morning.
"How are you doing today, sweetheart? Where are you right now? What's the status of you and Henry? I've been so scared "she said mumbling.
It made me giggle "Calm down, Mom; everything is good for both of us; in fact, we are currently eating dinner together at a restaurant; how are you doing? How is James doing? Has he been able to find some peace since this morning?" I inquired with anticipation.
She said in a soft voice while trailing off, "James is so unhappy honey, he's remorseful about what he did to Henry but he still won't accept it, I've been trying to reason with him but," she said. It was unnecessary for her to finish the sentence because I was already aware of its futility.
I stated that with a sorrowful face while holding Henry's hand and trying to give the impression that I was unconcerned with the situation. "Okay, but there's not much we can do about that, he'll come around eventually," I remarked.
"So, how are things going between the two of you now that you're married?" The question was posed by your mother.
