/Samantha/
I looked at my mother with a grin and exclaimed, "Great Mom, we got a place today, and we're moving in tomorrow!"
She heaved a sigh "You found a spot, right? What kind of a location is this? Where? Oh my goodness, my tiny kid is now a grown up who is married and lives on her own! "She exclaimed while choking back her tears.
I couldn't help but chuckle at how peculiar that sounded. "It's on West street, it's a one bed apartment, and it's absolutely ideal Mom, it's already furnished so we have almost anything to buy," I exclaimed with much enthusiasm.
"Are you completely furnished? That's fantastic, Samantha! What kind of items do you still require to be purchased? "she inquired.
"Well, linens aren't included, so we need towels, sheets, tea towels, and other items of that nature," the host explained.
She greeted Samantha with, "Oh Samantha, you sound so pleased. Is your house nice?"
I gave her a sly grin and replied, "Yeah, Mom, that's just beautiful, you'd enjoy it, maybe you could come and look at it later in the week if you want." I advised directing your attention to Henry, who was grinning and waving in my direction.
"I'd love to, I could bring Linda, I know she wants to see you too," she added with a smile. "I'd love to bring Linda."
"Sure, how are they doing?" I asked the question in an awkward manner because I had always liked Richard and Linda, but I don't think that Henry will be as quick to forgive his father for slapping me as he was to forgive my stepfather for punching the crap out of his face. I think that Henry will hold a grudge against his father for the incident.
She whispered, "Linda's excellent Samantha, she's missing Henry, Richard's not so good; he feels that you two have made a great mistake." "Linda's good Samantha, she's missing Henry."
I took a shaky breath in as I realized that even though I already knew it because Henry had spoken to them earlier this morning, it still stung to hear it. "Well, if Linda wants to come you two are more than welcome anytime. In fact, I want to re-paint a couple of the rooms maybe at the weekend if you're free maybe you could give us a hand," I said. "Well, if Linda wants to come you two are more than welcome anytime."
"Oh Samantha It may seem strange for me to be proud of my 17-year-old daughter for getting married, but I always knew that you and Henry were meant to be together, and I always knew that you would be married one day. I'd love to, and I'm so proud of you. I know it may seem strange for me to be proud of my daughter for getting married. He is such a lovely guy, and his love for you is absolutely bonkers "She said that while appearing really pleased for us.
"I am aware that he is Mom. Okay, now listen to this: do you think it would be all right if Henry and I came over the next day to pick up my belongings so that we could transport them to our new home?" I inquired, clenching my teeth in sudden nervousness. I was in desperate need of clothes; in fact, I was wearing my very last clean pair of underwear earlier today. Meanwhile, Henry, bless him, was already commando, which was actually quite a turn on for me.
She questioned him, "Of course, James will be at work at the regular hour; what time do you believe you want to come?"
"Somewhere about 10?" I proposed looking at Henry, and he agreed with my suggestion.
She said, "Ok wonderful, I'm so happy to see you, I hate how we left everything, I'll see you tomorrow then," and that was the end of their conversation.
"Bye Mom, love you" I said
She then said, "Love you too" before hanging up the phone.
Henry called his mother and informed her that we would pick up his belongings the following day after we had finished mine. He seemed rather happy when he got off the phone, so it is safe to assume that his mother has also gotten over the shock at this point. After dinner, we headed back to the motel, and by the time we got there, I was so energized by the prospect of finally moving into our new home that I had trouble falling asleep. After a few of hours, I was too fatigued to stay awake any longer, and I fell asleep in his arms. Henry, acting as the faithful spouse, agreed to keep me busy until I fell asleep.
Henry had already clothed himself when I got up in the morning, and he awakened me up by softly kissing my face and said, "Mmm that's a wonderful wake up." I whispered something under his breath,
"Mm well, it looks like I'm going to have to wake you up like that for the rest of my life, Mrs. Williams." He murmured this while gently kissing me one more. After a few minutes, he separated himself from her and said, "I've ran you a bath." He said, "I'm going to go and grab some breakfast for us," as he pulled me out of bed and lifted me bridal style into the bathroom. Fortunately, I was already na**d, so he dropped me into the bath. He stated this while planting a kiss on my forehead and grinning.
I yelled out to him just as he was about to enter the restroom, and he turned around to look at me. "Hey, would you be interested in moving in with me today?" I inquired while smirking devilishly.
"I'm not sure, it's a bit quick. I have to give that some consideration." he said winking at me making me chuckle. I washed and dried my clothing as soon as I could, and then I tossed them on without any clean underwear because I didn't have any more.
Henry had returned with bacon sandwiches and coffee, all of which we consumed prior to making our way to my mother's residence. Before we went inside, I gave him a passionate kiss while we were still in the car.
The very thought sent shivers down my spine; what would happen if James decided to call in sick to work today? What if my mom had already told him we were going to be there? What if he causes Henry further harm? My mind was racing with so many different ideas that I was completely unaware that Henry was waiting for me at the open car door. He was giving me a worried look as he watched me go toward the vehicle.
He grabbed my hand and dragged me out of there "Come on, sweet girl, everything is going to be okay with you, Samantha bear. Unless, of course, you don't have a use for your clothes?" he teased, lifting an eyebrow in a playful manner.
I drew him in close to me and whispered in his ear, "Well, I do need them since I'm out of underpants, do you want to check?" I whispered it alluringly as I pulled his hand to my crotch and slid it down the back of my jeans.
Oh s*** Samantha, he moaned as he pushed me against the car and mashed his entire body against mine while his fingers caressed my behind, "You're killing me." He leaned in close and kissed me passionately, sending shivers down my spine. His voice was thick with want.
I let out a chuckle and then shoved him aside "Husband, let's get this done already! Henry, if James shows up, can we just leave and not bother staying? I don't want you to get wounded." I responded while frowning and glancing down at the ground. He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the house, where we rang the doorbell. It felt so odd to ring the doorbell, but I didn't want to just walk in. I was hoping someone would answer the door.
When Linda answered the door, she greeted Henry by instantly pulling him into a bear hug "Henry, my dear! I've missed you "She was so upset that tears were flowing down her face as she sobbed.
"Hey, Mom! I've been thinking about you a lot." He said this while kissing her cheek and looked somewhat perplexed as to why she was at my parents' house in the first place.
She disengaged from the embrace and then brought me in for one of her own, asking Samantha how I was doing while she held me close.
"How are you doing Linda? I'm doing well." I asked embracing her back.
"SAMANTHA!" I was outside when I heard my mother shrieking, and as I turned to look at her, I saw that she was rushing down the hallway laughing her head off. She gave Henry and I a massive bear hug while she was virtually bouncing up and down with delight. She was holding us both in her arms.
"Hi Mom." I murmured moving away.
"I've grabbed you some crates. In an effort to make your move less stressful, Linda and I have begun packing up your belongings." she said beaming at Linda.
"You did? That is wonderful, thank you Anika, and thank you Mom." Henry said smiling.
"Please make your way into the lounge; we have something special in store for you." I glanced over at Henry, who remained close by my side while we were walking, as Mom stated as she grabbed both of my hands and pulled us forward.
My mouth dropped open as we entered the room because there was a mountain of presents piled up on the coffee table. Some were wrapped in paper made of gold, while others were wrapped in paper made of white spots.
"What the heck is this?" I inquired while befuddled.
"Now, Linda and I were thinking that it would be nice to get you a gift. Since we were unable to attend your wedding, we decided to purchase wedding presents instead. In addition, you will require housewarming gifts." my mother said, pointing to the two distinct heaps of presents that were under the tree. Henry immediately comforted me by wrapping his arm around my waist and giving me a firm hug after I began to cry. That is such a cute thing! They gave us gifts, didn't they?
She pulled me down onto the floor next to the table and pointed to the golden presents, saying, "These ones are the bridal gifts."
I glanced over at Henry, who had sat down next to me and was beaming broadly. Linda then handed me and Henry each a present, and when I opened mine I found a stunning silver frame with a photo of Henry and I from the previous summer. I giggled because I thought that was so thoughtful.
"Oh my goodness, I adore it. Many thanks." I said I was going to show Henry, and he smiled and nodded as he opened his present. Inside, there was a tiny china figurine of a couple holding hands and kissing, and it was very adorable.
"Thanks a bunch, people! That's awesome." he said smiling a phony smile. I could tell he didn't like it by the fact that when he smiled, his eyes didn't quite connect with the rest of his face. I'm hoping that our mothers wouldn't notice because he was covering it up rather well.
When I finally got to the last gold one, I was shocked to find a gorgeous silver marriage certificate holder inside. I couldn't believe how considerate it was. "Guys, this is awesome, and we appreciate your help very much!" I said crying again.
It was taken away from me by my mother. "There's a piece here; you need to get it engraved with your names and the day you got married, because we didn't have time to get it done." she said smiling.
"That is very thoughtful of you; thank you very much." Henry said this as he wrapped his arms around me in a hug and used his thumb to wipe away my tears.
