Rupert's POV.
"Words aren't good enough." I mouthed and claimed her lips in mine, she batted her lashes. "Maybe, I didn’t tell you, how much I am nothing without you, I love you very much, and believe me, I didn't send you out back then because I didn't love you, I was only scared, that I might hurt you and I don't deserve you." This time, her eyes open wide and she is completely sober.
She gave me a sweet smile.
"Why do you smell yummy?" She said all of a sudden, her words left my heart palpitating. She licked her lips with her tongue, it only meant one thing, and the sudden heat in my system made my eyes flush. She rubs her eyes.
"Aren't you supposed to have a meeting today?" She asked.
Now her action wasn't intentional or should I say she is having mood swings but she had already sent the wrong message and I want her, I just want to stay in bed all day with my mate. "Do you think we could stay in bed all day?" My eyes fixed on her bare chest saying good morning to me. I thought of touching her over again and I was burning with desires, With the way she looked now, it seemed the pup growing in her made her more beautiful and appealing. I moved my hand to touch them but she held my hand halfway.
"Rupert no, we have a lot to fix." She said, I closed my palm, and she smiled but her face suddenly had a surprise picture on it. "Rupert." She called, I smirked, knowing what I was doing, my other arms had found their way under the sheets, and I tugged my hand under the sheet and touched her under the sheet.
"Just once, and I will not ask for more."
"Rupert, you know that isn't possible, I still need to go back to my Pack, and there are so many arrangements to be made if the two pack is to be merged." I stared at her blankly. "Don't you think I will need my legs?"
"I would rather have you in bed all day and ask Drake to make all the arrangements on your behalf." I was jokingly saying it but part of it is true.
"Don't you get tired of me?" I smirked
"Tired? I can't get enough of you." I shook my head and she smiled, she sat up on the bed and then swung her legs down. "Oh, mine." She growled
"What went wrong?"
"Nothing." She murmured and then stretched her limbs, While stretching my eyes fell on her back, and so many marks on her skin, that I ran my hand over my face, my finger had left a deep mark on her skin.
I moved and pushed myself up, moving my hand to touch her back. "Are they still painful?" My voice was filled with guilt and worry.
She turned and looked at me. "No, just starving?" Her words were accompanied, by the loud growl of her tummy, she held it while smirking.
"What would you like to eat?" I asked, she looked at me, as her lips curved. "spicy soup and a lot of meat." Her eyes lit up while inhaling an imaginary aroma, probably imagining the meal she was going to have, I mind link one of the omega to get the meal.
My eyes were wild, seeing her walk in her birthday suit, without thinking about the effect it had on me.
I smiled, loving the new version of Iris, if anyone asked if I would get tired of her, then I would boldly say no. It didn't take long before one of the Omega came in with the spicy soup, it's a good thing that Iris have finally covered herself.
I was watching her, as she stuck food into her mouth like some starving lion. I couldn't move my eyes from her, I was scared that she might have indigestion. She raised her head and suddenly looked at me, she wiped her lips slowly.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I gulped my saliva but then something awakened in me, the heat that was now on my lower legs and I could feel I was getting a boner. She flicks her tongue across her lips.
"Holy shit, Iris please don't do that?" She smiled.
I wanted her to stop smiling, her smile was making it harder for me, What am I turning into, a pervert? She raised the meat and shoved it into her throat and swallowed without chewing.
"Iris, go slowly you might get indigestion." I chuckled, and her eyes becomes colorful, she too is getting heated and arousal is contagious, but unfortunately, we can’t do that, we have lots of things to fix today, after this own madness, we will have time for our fucking self.
After the meal, I met up with Mother, I know she didn't want to see me but I had to fix it, I only did what I thought was the best, Russell is becoming too desperate for power and an ambitious wolf is not one that should be kept around, they are the most dangerous of any wolf if they become too power hunger they might end up becoming a mad dog and that is not something that I will want around especially now that I am expecting my pup.
"Hey, where is the former Luna?" I asked one of the Omega.
"She is in her room and the former alpha is out. Do you want me to inform her that you are here?" I waved my hand gestures for her to leave, she was sitting on the chair close to the window and knitting something.
"What are you doing?" She turned and looked at me, then moved her gaze back to her knitting. "I am sorry, sorry I did something bad again because I found my mate." She looks at me. "Mother please forgive me."
"I am knitting a sweater for the pup, remember he doesn't have a father anymore." Her words hit me
"Are you still mad at me?" she pinned her lips together.
"I am not mad at you, I am only mad at myself." I moved closer to her and sat on the bed, closer to her. "I feel like a failed mother, I neglected my duties as a mother to him, I didn't teach him everything that a child needs to know about being a good adult, didn't want to use the rod on him because I felt people will think that I was maltreating him because he is not my son, but he is my son, and that is all I see him as." Her tears drop more. "Do you think that I was a bad mother to him?"
"Mother, you are not."
"I don't think so, you are the best mother every pup will ever have, it's just we the pup that is disappointing, it's our fault not yours." She hugged me and cried on my shoulder.
"I hope I could be a better grandmother to Russell's pup."
"And also to mine." She pulled from me staring blankly without expression. "It's fine if you don't want to divide your affection for Russell's..."
"No, as in yes..." I look at her. "Son what I mean is that I want to, in fact, I will be excited to care for the both of them"
"And even if I am expecting mine as well." Campbell's voice came from behind.
"Cathy is pregnant as well?" I asked, he nodded at me.
"Oh mine, so very soon we have like four pups running in this castle?" Former Luna said.
"Yes, and I heard that Father is meeting the council so the two packs can be merged."
"Really?" My excitement was at its peak, I never expected that my father would want to help me, I watched my mother's expression, she pulled her hand and touched Campbell's hair and then pulled me into a hug.
"I am sorry for not telling you that Russell is not my pup, I wouldn't have kept you in the dark..."
"It's fine, he is still your pup even if you didn't give birth to him and we are still his siblings, he is our big brother," I said and Campbell pressed his lips on Mother's head.
"Thank you, I think at this point, I should start increasing my speed, so I could knit for all my grandkids. Isn't it a beautiful color, it will fit in, on any sex, be it a male or female." She explained as she showed us the design.
"Yes, it's beautiful." I mouthed and ran my hand through my hair.
"Rupert, you can speak, tell us what is bothering you?" Mother speak.
"When you were pregnant did you feel different, like different from when you were carrying mine?"
"Are you talking about Iris's craving and body changes?" I nodded to her pinning my lips. "Did you feel that she is behaving differently?"
"Yes, she craves for sex, although I am not complaining about that..."
"Bad boy," Campbell said I hit his head. "Shut up," I growled and turned my gaze back to Mother. "Did you think she is alright?"
"Yes, considering the fact that her pup might be a vampire, a human, or a wolf it's normal and you have nothing to worry about, she is strong and she can protect herself."
That was all I wanted to know, I don't want anything to happen to her.
"When is the Luna ceremony?"
