Campbell's POV.
"Mate." I mouthed even without seeing who the person is, Iris look at me surprised.
"Who could she be?" She asked as I could hear her heart thudding like she is scared that my mate, might turn out to be someone that I don't want, I don't think so if my mate is in this Pack, I hope is that one female that I love and no one else.
"Mate." This time, the sound was loud and my wolf is very restless I jumped off the car, ignoring the door, it's a good thing, is a convertible car, so I went out through the roof of the car, I was running towards the north of Goldfang territory.
"Campbell." I could hear Iris calling to me but I wasn't paying attention, I run faster, this was the first time, I had run this long distance since I got my wolf, his stamina was high, and was desperate to get to her and find out, who my mate is.
Suddenly the force causing me to run left me and I came to a halt, my breath wasn't stable, it was beating so fast, Iris get to me, she too was panting.
"Campbell did you..." Her words didn't finish before my eyes move to the right and I could see a lady, is like she just shifted for the first time and her nude was what is on the floor.
I wanted the fellow to raise her head, slowly she raised her head as if she too had the spark and her gaze was in my direction.
"Cathy," Iris called and run to her leaving me behind, I stood there, moisturized by the female on the ground in her nude, she looks perfect, and that lovely scent of hers hit me, she is smelling all angelic, she smelled like a freshly baked cake.
she is my friend the female I protected during the fight that happened some months ago in this pack, I have grown to love her, and every day I wish that I am blessed with her, she has always been my long time Crush, I just find out and this made me want to turn back the hand of time and be the one that ends the life of that worthless Damien that had kidnapped her and had made her spend the night in that betroth.
I watch as Iris takes off her top and places it on Cathy.
"Oh, my sweet Catherine is fated to me." I finally mouthed, and for the first time, I used her full name it sounds so perfect and sweeter than any name that I have taken on my lips. I don't even know what to do, I just stood there watching Iris cover her.
Cathy's POV.
A few hours ago, I just turned eighteen and my brother Drake, said I will meet my wolf, he wanted to be there when I have my wolf but my stubborn self wanted to be alone when I have my wolf I told him that I could manage and that I don't want anyone around me but he didn't agree to it, so he decided to come with me to the field and then when my wolf is about to surface I realized how painful the first time is and I bet I would have died if I was alone and it's a good thing Drake was as stubborn as me and my wolf finally surface, he asked that we run so I could boost my stamina.
"Cathy, you should let me know when you are tired, so we could shift." I heard Drake's words in my head.
"Don't worry brother I am not yet tired." That was the first time I used the mindlink and I love the way my brother's voice sound in my head.
"Is my voice sweet?" I asked Drake.
"Of cause, it's lovely and it's the most amazing voice I have heard in my head for the longest time."
"Oh brother, you are just been nice," I said.
"Of cause not, I am not a liar, so what do you want to call your wolf, what should we call her, have you thought of a name to call her and..."
The rest words fell on deaf ears, my wolf take a different direction and she was very eager to go somewhere or should I say she is dying to meet someone.
"Cathy, where are you going?" Drake yelled, my wolf sped off and when we get here, I shifted unexpectedly and fall on the floor causing me to be in my birthday suit.
I lie there thinking about what to use to cover myself but that sweet scent hit me, that vanilla smell caused my head to raised, and my wolf yelled in my head.
"Mate."
"Cathy, are you alright?" Alpha Iris's voice came up as she put her jacket to cover me, dragging me out of my thoughts.
"I am fine, I want to go home," I said fast, trying to pull from Cathy.
"Wait, where are you going?" Iris ask me before I could even say anything, my brother had arrived at the scene.
"Cathy, why did you run off like that, did you find something interesting or probably your mate? Come on tell me." He pressurizes me and then his eyes go to Campbell. "Oh mine, is he your mate?" He point at Campbell, I raised my gaze and look at him.
"I want to be left alone." My tone wasn't friendly.
"Cathy."
"Oh brother stop, he doesn't want me, I thought he will be excited to see me but no, he is going to reject me." I growl and I was about to walk passed Campbell when he grabbed my hand.
"What now? Do you want to reject me, go on and reject me, I am not going to die, I might be broken and with time, everything will fall into place I know you have alpha blood in your system and I got none of that, and my late father was nothing, it's just my grandfather that was once a beta and now you don't want to have anything to do with a nobody like me and a weak wolf."
"Catherine." He called.
"Oh please be straightforward no one will scold you for Rejecting a nobody like me."
"Where did you get that idea that I want to reject you?"
"Isn't it obvious, your face could tell that you don't want me, you want to reject me and you aren't excited that I turned out your mate, and here I thought you are my..." He grabbed me and press his lips on mine.
