Iris's POV
"Iris, my wound." Saying that I didn't waste any time than to turn and run back to him. His smiling face meets me.
"You don't have to worry, it's heal." My eyes bulge, and that was fast, I know as a wolf we have healing power in our system but not as fast as this. The place is clean like he never had any injury there, I was astonished at how fast he could heal could it be because he is a vampire?
"You just made me worried for nothing." I snort while Rupert thinks it's amusing, he chuckled watching my angry face. "You should go home, it's getting late." I told him
"As you wish my lady but let me see that you get through the door of your room." I turned and look at him.
"I do not have what to pay you with so don't come with me." He chuckled taking my hand, I know Rupert, he doesn't give anything for free, he is always asking for stuff for every favor that he gives.
"Is not something much, just a hug." He pulled me into his hands. "like this." I pushed him off myself. "You see it doesn't hurt."
"And I don't want to, so get off my face."
"Come on, you don't have to be like that." He pulled me into his strong arm and jumped off the rooftop, it was fast, within a few minutes we are back to the room, something that would had take me like thirty minutes
"If he thinks I am going to hug him when we get to my room, then he has something coming." I said mentally and he chuckled, I run my hand through my hair as the realization dawned on me that he could read my thoughts.
"Here we are, so shoo." I was about to shove him away but he wasn't letting me this time, he refused to be pushed away by me, he held my wrist and I look at him.
"Do you want me to go?" I move my gaze to him, what do I even want? I want him to stay and also I want him to go, staying with him will not be easy.
"Come on Iris make your decision." This time, I pushed my door open for him and let him come inside, I point at the couch in my inner room, and I walked into the washroom and have a quick bath, I was at the washroom when Ariana mindlinked me.
"Hey, Ariana, where did you disappear to"
"Nowhere, just a bit busy, is Rupert with you?"
"Why? Is he needed in the pack?" I asked
"No, beta Mason was trying to reach him but his number and mindlink are not connecting, so he said I should let you know if he is with you, old alpha Oscar said the road back to the Pack is flooded as a result of the downpour that happens some few minutes back."
"Oh, I will let him know."
"Alright, when are we having your ceremony, we have a lot of things to talk about."
"Like, tell me."
"Shut up nosy Alpha." Ariana disconnected the mindlink as I finish washing, I grabbed my bathrobe and goes back to the room, Rupert was sitting on the couch. "I think you should have your bath, Ariana said your beta said that the road is flooded and..."
"Just ignores my beta, I didn't come with a car, I could return in the same way."
"Stop being stubborn, you should bathe and there is a bathrobe you could use in there and if there is anything you want you could let me know."
"Are you sure, you want me here?" He asked for the second time, I didn't say a word to him, I only move to my bedside and throw the duvet over my skin, after taking the coffee by my bedside.
It's been a long day, and my eyes doze off forgetting all about Rupert that is in my bathroom, suddenly I felt the edge of my mattress sink and my heart skip thinking someone is invading my room. His scent hit me, it was Rupert, and he is the one crawling into my bed and under my bedsheets, before I could even protest he tug me into his arm, wrapping his hand around my waist, I find myself moving more into his hand.
Although, I and Rupert have kissed a thousand times and we have made out but never in my bed, I have let any man into my bed and acted so comfortable in his embrace.
"Iris, when should we have our claiming ceremony?" His breath fan my neck, tickling my skin.
I felt his hard chest pressed against my back, his hot chocolate and mixture of coffee smell filled my nostril and his warm embrace gave me a sense of security. And my thoughts wandered to the claiming and how we could finally be together and I in his embrace for the rest of my life.

Since I realized that he is my fated mate, whenever he rolled my name in his mouth, I felt some sensation surge through my system and it always sounds nice.
"I want to claim you, I want to make you mine." He said inhaling my scent. "You don't know how long I have wished this day will come when I will find out that you are my mate, did you know how mad I am whenever I see any male wolf around you, I want to be the only one kissing you, touching you and doing everything that mate does and those times apart is like forever, suppressing myself for doing all this stuff to you, is more difficult than be an alpha." His words were going straight through my eardrum.
I bit my lower lips as I noticed that my body is acting up and Sally is adding to my trouble, I am trying hard to cover my moan and also my arousal sound.
But can I cover it?
"Alpha, are you aroused?"
"Rupert, don't call me that." I growl at him.
"Then what should I call you?" I went mute, he knows what I want him to call me, I love the sound of my name on his lips and I want that, I don't want to be a tigress, he said a female alpha is a tigress, all I dreamt of is to be beside him
"You are not saying anything." He tugs me closer to himself and his lips move to my nape and suck on that soft spot of my neck, exactly where make leave their mark on their mate.
"I don't have anything to say, you should just read my mind and tell me what I wanted."
"Aren't you going to get mad at me for doing it again?" I pressed my lips together, causing them to form a thinning line but a loud moan came out of my throat. "What was that?"
"Stop teasing me, you already know that I am aroused."
"Iris, I want to bite you."
"Like claim me, right now."
