Rupert's POV.
"Iris relax." I noticed how uneasy she becomes when I talked about the biting and claiming, wolves do that but maybe, she is scared that being a vampire will make the bite painful, I guess I used the wrong words, I won't had use the word "bite" I would have just told her that I want to claim her. "Iris, back to earth.” I tug her hair behind her ear. “Are you okay?" I asked when I noticed that she is unusually quiet.
"Rupert, I am fine, I am just thinking."
"What are you thinking about?" I asked, moving my lips back to her ear, I playfully bite her ear.
"Rupert, you this naughty alpha stop doing that." I blushed as she added naughty to my title, it sound nice, naughty alpha. Oh dear goddess, thank you for blessing me with this lovely damsel, her smell, that peppermint scent that drives me insane, I never thought I could fall in love with such a fellow. Her blushing face makes me want nothing but her more. Right now, holding her makes me not just want to claim her, I also want to kiss every part of her body.
Now, I could feel Vernon whine in my head and I clenched my fist trying to control myself.
"Rupert, why can't I read your thoughts as well?" I paused and listened to her. "Don't you think the moon goddess is unfair to me, she would have also made me able to read your thoughts."
"I don't think you need that, you know I could always tell you what I am thinking." She turned and face me taking me unaware.
"It's a good thing there is a flood, at least you could remain in my hand through the night."

"I love you." She pecks my forehead and I watch as her eyes get shut. "Oh Rupert, you are not only a naughty alpha but a stupid alpha," Vernon whines in my head.
"What do you want me to do?" I asked my wolf with tight teeth.
"You should have just told her, you will take the couch, and while the heck did you tell Mason to tell Ariana to manipulate Iris, that there is a flood?"
"I want to spend the night in her room, I want to inhale her sweet smell."
"And torture me in return? If you enjoy pains, I don't what's with you, how do you expect me to sleep beside her when you know all I could smell is her arousal, and the more I stay beside her, the more I want to claim her, the more I want to have her under me."
"Come on, we can do it, you don't have to act like a pervert."
"Oh now, I am acting like a pervert? Let's see how long you will last." He whines and shrinks to my head.
It didn't take long before I started regretting my actions. Having her warm, gorgeous body against mine without touching her, is pure torture and at the same time, kissing her will make my wolf claim her and I know she doesn't want to get claimed now, she is still very much scared that my fangs might be different from other wolf fangs. I run my tongue on my fangs and notice that my canines protrude.
"Holy shit." I jumped off the bed, it's a good thing, she is a deep sleeper that she has no idea, that I am of her.
"Oh Iris, you should see how I am going to torture you, to give you a sleepless night, after the claiming ceremony." I pulled out the door of her room, as I walked out I needed to breathe, I have no idea how long I have held my breath to avoid inhaling her scent and her arousal that is now mixed with mine.
I ended up on the rooftop, opening my mindlink, and Beta Mason's voice came up.
"Alpha Rupert, old alpha Oscar said he wants to meet you?"
"Like now." I wasn't expecting him to reply but he did, his mindlink was open.
"Yes, there is an issue, and it needs urgent Care." I furrow my eyebrows, trying to figure out what could be the issue. "Do you have a hint about it?" I asked.
"No, I guess it's about Celina."
"Celina again." I growl and my anger was not something I could contain, I was eager to hear what the bitch said that I have to go back to Goldfang, I walked back to Iris's room, and press a soft kiss on her head.
"I will be back before you know it." I mouthed before closing the door behind her, in no time I am back to Goldfang, I pulled the door to the royal castle, the face of my father and mother on one couch while Celina at the other couch wailing bitterly, I turned my attention to my dad.
"My beta said you need me urgently, I wondered what could be so urgent that couldn't wait till tomorrow."
"It's about Celina." I move my gaze back to Celina.
"What madness is this? Haven't I told you not to show your face again to me, I have rejected you already and I don't want to see your face again." I snarled, she just kept wailing. "Who is there, guards, take this woman away from here." I snarl.
"No, you can't, she is pregnant." My mother, the Luna voice out and my gaze shifted to the Luna.
"What did you just say?"
"You heard your mother, Celina is pregnant for you." I Titter.
"Such a cunning witch. Hey, if you know what is good for you, get yourself out of here."
"Rupert stops, she is not lying, she is pregnant and the physician, which happens to be your beta had confirm it." Old alpha Oscar said.
"Good, congratulations and who is the father of that pup?"
"Rupert" she called in frustration.
"Don't you dare, take my name, it's alpha Rupert to you, you and I know that I am not the father of that pup."
"How can you say so, didn't we have sex?"
"Celina," I growled
"Rupert stop it, did you or did you not have sex with..."
"I did father but..."
"That settled it, you are going to..."
"Enough Father." I snarled Mother look at me.
"Rupert."
"Stop it, Mother, I am the alpha and not your husband, so I should make the decision, if Celina says, I am the father of her unborn child, I will have a paternity test on her, and if the pup turns out to be mine, then I will not think twice to care for my pup and give him the title that due him but I will never claim her as my chosen mate, my heart has space for just one woman and that is Iris."

"Celina, if you take my name on your lips again, I will forget that you are carrying my supposed pup." I shut her up.
"And as for my Luna ceremony, I am having it tomorrow night, I will be claiming Iris." I turned around and leave.
