Chapter 30:
They have never seen Alexander King but knows how dangerous he is and being with him for more than ten years, George has been turned cold and devilish too.. Without Alexander's presence, he has been taking care of the company under Alexander's orders..
"No sir, I was just asking casually.." Jenny replied.. Her tone changed into a sugar coated one from the arrogant one..
Victoria wasn't surprise at all.. She is used to people's this kind of behaviour.. She has her past work experiences..
George looked at Victoria.. He put on a smiling face and spoke "Hello miss Hale" He has been practiced a lot to call her miss Hale and not my lady!
Victoria smiled "hello, Mr. Black.. It's nice meeting you.. Hopefully I can be a help at your work.." She was polite and full on professional mode..
George nodded "please follow me, let me show you your office and work.." He then led her towards the elevator..
On the other hand, Jenny was stood there dumbfounded.. She couldn't believe George smiled that also towards a woman! Even he was too polite with her! How is that even possible!
He has been said 'the tough man', 'the robot', 'devil' in the company.. This is the first time in her one year of working experience, she has seen him smiling and being polite!
Is that mean, George Black also get whipped by her beauty! "No! This can't be happened! I won't let her win!" Jenny was definitely not happy with it..
"Whom you won't let win?" Camila, another receptionist who came few seconds ago asked.. She didn't see the scene few minutes ago..
Jenny told her everything and in just half an hour, the whole company has been informed about what happened.. Even some were guessing Victoria as his girlfriend! And some were saying 'he is a man and he has needs too.. It's not impossible for him to fall for a beauty!' Some were guessing that she is from a rich family, and the list goes on! And the most funny thing is, no one has seen Victoria till now! It's all based in rumours.. Though everyone is wishing to see the beauty now..

On the other side, Victoria followed George in the elevator and the moment it closed he quickly bowed down to her "my apology my lady.. It's the situation demand that I have to call you by name.. I am so sorry.." He kept apologising..
Victoria "....."
She was stunned with his behaviour.. She didn't expect it! And felt pity for him..
Shaking her head, Victoria said "it's okay Mr. Black, you don't need to apologise.. In the office I am an employee only and it's my decision.. Moreover, you are my senior and I have a lot to learn from you.. If you keep behaving like this, then it won't be easy for any of us.. And don't worry about Alexander, I will make him understand everything.. I just don't want to mix my professional life with my personal one.."
George was taken a back with her words.. He thought Victoria is a rich wife who has been spoiled by her husband.. She might get angry.. Yet, she didn't and even spoke out her mind politely..
He scratched his neck nervously "umm.. I am not used it My lady.. But, I will be.."
Victoria smiled and nodded "it's okay, it will be fine.."
After they reached at the 29th floor of the building the elevator door opened.. "This is the floor you are going to work.. This is My Lord's floor.. No one stepped here ever without us.." George informed her.. It's a restricted floor..
The floor was mind blowing! It screams of royalty and rich taste.. Victoria was amazed by it..
George showed her the whole floor and then took her to show Alexander's office.. It was huge and has a similar view like his study at the mansion..
George looked at Victoria "You are going to work here.. This is your table" he showed one well decorated medium size table beside Alexander's one..
Victoria was slightly confused "am I going to work in this room!?"
He nodded "yes, my lady.."
"Okay, then.." She walked up towards her new table and chair feeling exited "umm.. So, what should I do now?" She asked looking at George..
George showed her some files and informed her what she should do.. Victoria nodded "okay, Completing these I will inform you.."
With a polite nod, George get off the room and sighed in relief.. Though Victoria was extremely polite all the time and didn't show any attitude, still he wasn't much convinced with her..
After all, she doesn't have any qualifications! And the work he has given it would take experienced people only an hour but he is sure she would take the whole day to complete this task.. Moreover, God knows how much she would disturb him! He felt depressed already thinking those things!
And inside the office, Victoria started doing what George had asked her to do.. She was nervous at first but the moment she started doing it, she felt it was nothing for her! She knew all these things!
It took her less than an hour only to complete her task, given by George.. Victoria stretched her hands and she go through the documents couple of times because she doesn't want any blunder at the first day of her work!
Completing it, she came out of the office and knocked on George's office door..
"Come in" Came his cold voice.. He was completely engrossed in his works that he almost forgot about Victoria!
She stepped inside and walked up to him.. Placing the files on his desk, she spoke "I have completed my task, is there anything else I could do?"
Hearing her voice, George finally remembered that Victoria is in the office.. He stood up hurriedly from his chair, almost dropping the file from his hand.. "M..my lady!?"
Victoria fall in confusion by his behaviour "are you okay? I mean, you are looking pale!" She asked in concern..
"Umm.. I am fine.. It's just I didn't expect you here! I am so sorry, I wasn't polite enough to talk with you a moment ago.. I am so sorry my lady.." He bowed down and apologised..
Victoria felt it kind of funny.. "calm down okay? I didn't mind at all! I have already said that you are my senior in work so please try to forget that 'my lady relationship, okay?" She pushed the file towards him and spoke again "I have completed the task you have given me.. Hope it's okay.."
George was shocked again hearing this.. He quickly picked up the files and go through it.. And much to his astonishment, they were absolutely perfect! No mistakes!
George was impressed "it's perfectly done.. You did a very good job.." He praised her..
Victoria grinned ear to ear.. she is happy to hear that.. It's a good start for her first day and she felt much confident about herself now..
