As soon as Blake took Leah away, I became worried and started to panic. I pleaded with Derick to come with me to save Leah, but he remained adamant, insisting that it could be a trap set by Blake. His mistrust towards Blake had grown over time, and he believed that Blake would do anything to lure us over to his place.
While we were still arguing, Derick's phone rang. It was an emergency call from his office, and he had to leave immediately. He told me to stay put and not to leave the mansion. Reluctantly, I agreed, but my mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Leah's safety.
She might have betrayed me before, but I need to save her from Blake and won't think about what her mother Amanda did.
As soon as Derick left, I couldn't stay still. I had to go and find Leah. I left the mansion and headed to the woods to search for her. I could feel my heart pounding with anxiety as I tried to follow Blake's trail.
Just as I was about to give up hope, I heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. I cautiously approached, ready to defend myself if necessary, but to my relief, it was just a small rabbit. I let out a deep breath and continued on my search.
Suddenly, I heard a growl coming from behind me. I spun around to see a large, muscular werewolf glaring at me with ferocious eyes. I froze in fear, unsure of what to do next. Without thinking twice, I shifted into my wolf form and fought fiercely with him. It was a tough fight, but eventually, I managed to kill him. I dragged his body back to the mansion and was confused about who this person could be and why he was so furious with me.
I tried calling Derick, but his phone was still not reachable. I alerted our followers to stay vigilant and warned them that there may be rogue werewolves out hunting for us. I had to do something before Derick came back from the office.
I sat down, trying to think of a plan to rescue Leah and take down Blake once and for all. But my mind was racing with thoughts, and I was not able to focus. I prayed silently for Leah's safety and hoped that Derick would come back soon.
As I waited, I realized that I had to be more careful and cautious in dealing with the threats that were surrounding us. I had to be strong and resilient, not just for myself but for our entire pack.
~Blake Pov~
Mia walked in and asked me why I brought Leah back so quickly. "Are you that hungry for her?" she asked me.
I looked at Mia with a scowl and said, "I brought Leah back because I have a plan. Don't question me." Mia rolled her eyes and retorted, "Seriously? Because if that's the case, then you shouldn't have brought her back so quickly." I felt a surge of anger rise within me at her insolence and told her to keep her mouth shut.
Mia scoffed and said, "I thought you were smarter than this. If you think Sophia will come to Leah's rescue, then you must be delusional because Sophia will never forgive her sister who once betrayed her." I raised my hand to slap her, but she ducked out of the way and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
I picked up my phone and dialed a number. "When will you deliver Derick's head to me?" I asked the person on the other end of the line.
"We've sent our best brutal wolf to attack him. By dawn, you'll have his head," the person replied.
I smiled, eagerly anticipating the moment I would finally crush Derick. Just then, Amanda walked into the room. I quickly hung up the phone and glared at her.
"What do you want?" I asked.
Amanda said she had a way out for me. I scoffed and asked why I should listen to her.
"Because I know how to make Derick suffer," Amanda replied. "He's a rich billionaire Alpha. You could take his wealth and power, then dethrone him before taking his head."
My heart skipped a beat at Amanda's suggestion. It was a tempting idea, but I decided to wait until dawn. If Derick's head wasn't delivered by then, I would seriously consider Amanda's plan.
I sat back in my chair, deep in thought. I couldn't wait to see the look on Derick's face when I finally got my revenge.
Amanda was pleased to see that I was considering her plan, she smiled and said, "I have everything planned out. Once you take over Derick's wealth and power, you can rule over the werewolf community with an iron fist." I listened to her carefully and couldn't deny that the idea was tempting, but I still had my reservations. "I'll think about it," I said finally. "For now, let's focus on getting Derick's head."
Just then, Mia walked back into the room, looking slightly shaken. "Blake, we have a problem," she said. "The werewolf we sent to attack Derick, he's dead. And it looks like he was killed by another werewolf." I frowned, feeling a sense of unease wash over me. "Another werewolf? Who could it be?" I asked.
Mia shook her head. "I don't know, but the attack was brutal. It looks like this werewolf was more powerful than the one we sent." I felt a sense of anger rising within me. How dare this rogue werewolf interfere with my plans? I made a decision right then and there. "I'm going out to find this werewolf," I said. "I'll show him who's boss. But Mia, I told you have already contracted another pack to handle Derick's case, but you insisted that we should sent from our own end also."
"Come on Blake, don't tell me you're blaming me for that. I just to help!"
"Can you two please stop arguing?" Amanda asked. I exhale and stand by my word to find the wolf who cross me.
Amanda smiled. "I'll come with you," she said. "I know some of the rogue werewolves in the area. Maybe they can help us find this one." I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement building within me. It was time to show everyone who was in charge.
We headed out into the woods, Amanda leading the way. As we walked, she told me about some of the rogues she knew, and I couldn't help but feel impressed by her knowledge. She was definitely more useful than I had given her credit for.
After a while, we came across a group of werewolves, all of them looking rough and dangerous. Amanda approached them confidently, and I watched as they talked amongst themselves. Finally, one of them stepped forward and said, "We know who you're looking for. He's been causing trouble for us too, more than black bird wolves. We can take you to him."
I felt a surge of excitement as we followed the rogue werewolves deeper into the woods. Finally, we came to a clearing, and there, standing before us, was the rogue werewolf who had killed my attacker. He was huge and muscular, with wild, unkempt fur and glowing red eyes. I stepped forward, ready to take him on.
As we fought, I realized just how powerful this rogue werewolf was. He was unlike anything I had ever faced before. But I refused to give up. I fought with everything I had, determined to come out on top.
Finally, after what felt like hours, I managed to land a final blow on the rogue werewolf, sending him crashing to the ground. I stood over him, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over me. I had won.
As we walked back to the mansion, Amanda couldn't stop praising me. "You're a natural leader," she said. "You have what it takes to rule over the werewolf community." I smiled, feeling a sense of pride. Maybe she was right. Maybe it was time for me to take charge again.
But as we entered the mansion, we were greeted by a sight that made my blood run cold. Miranda was standing there, alive and well, with Theresa by her side. "Hello, Blake," she said, a sinister smile on her face. "I've been waiting for you."
