Chapter Erza Was Shocked

"Uti, I think I'm going to the cafeteria with Marcell this time, is that okay with you?"

Weeby's strange question made Uti chuckle lightly, and the girl wearing the navy blue bando shook her hand lightly and said, "It's okay, why did you ask me?"

Weeby nodded in understanding, she also laughed softly. "Yes, but I don't know why I had to say goodbye to you. You're really not angry, right?"

"Why should I be angry? You can just go with your boyfriend. What right do I have to stop you from going?" Uti shook her head slowly, feeling both strange and confused by Weeby. "You don't have to use my permission. Hurry up and go with Marcell, I certainly don't mind."

"I feel guilty, I usually go to the cafeteria with you."

"I can go with the others if I want, but I think I want to stay in class this time." Uti replied casually while putting her notebook under the table, and then she saw Marcell, who was already standing in the doorway of the classroom, looking at her, Uti nodded and smiled slightly. Uti's gaze then turned back to Weeby. "Marcell has been waiting for you, you should leave now."

Weeby nodded, then stood up from her seat. "Thanks, I'll leave first, okay? Bye!" With a wide smile, Weeby waved her hand, which Uti reciprocated with a similar gesture.

Uti looked at Weeby, who had now joined Marcell, the two of them were really good together, a perfect match, as Uti even admitted, and she also liked to see it. Then, Weeby smiled again at her, before finally having her body disappear out of the classroom with Marcell. The two teenagers who were drunk in love held hands, gliding quickly towards the cafeteria.

And Uti herself chose to stay in her seat, not going anywhere until class time was over. She didn't want to go to the cafeteria, not because Weeby had given permission to go to the cafeteria with Marcell so Uti had no friends, not because Uti was still full and didn't need snacks, not because she had no friends to go there, Uti just didn't want to go anywhere. She was too lazy to move, and sitting in her seat was all he wanted.

Since recess had just started, Uti still had plenty of time to spare. And for some reason, she wanted to go to the library and read the novel she had borrowed. Yes, that's what Uti wanted, the thought came to her mind suddenly, but Uti liked this idea.

Uti nodded slowly, then she put her cell phone in her skirt pocket along with her earphones, before she started to walk out of the classroom. Uti went to where she wanted to be.

Novan, who had been watching Uti's back, gasped slightly as he saw her leave the classroom. With a furrowed brow, Novan tried to guess where Uti might have gone this time.

"I'm really bored, let's follow Marcell to the cafeteria, Van!" Erza startled Novan by saying something loud.

Novan then turned his head, his lips opening to spit out his words. "Do you want to disturb their relationship? You want to be the third person? And you want to get screwed?"

"But I'm really bored if I sit around like this, the fate of being single is very bad, fortunately, I'm not alone, there are people like you who can be my friends." Erza chuckled and patted Novan's shoulder again, both eyebrows twitching a few times.

"So, hurry up and find a girlfriend. My single period is about to expire, and I want to break the seal. And you don't want to lose to me."

Novan's words obviously aroused Erza's curiosity. "Are you serious? Do you have a girlfriend? Who's the girl? How come I don't know?"

"You don't know because I never told you, where did I tell you about this?"

"Who is your girlfriend anyway? How come I'm so curious? Tell me now, Van, you said you were my best friend, how come you're keeping secrets!" Erza glared, pointing at Novan.

"I'm your best friend, but that doesn't mean you have to know everything, there are things I don't want to share. You must be the same way."

"But this is about girlfriends, not something you have to keep to yourself, right? Look at Marcell, he's also open about it."

"I'm not Marcell," Novan said shortly.

"That's how you are with me, Marcell himself doesn't know you have a girlfriend?"

"Neither of you know, Za."

"Then it's time you told me."

"Are you pushing me?"

"Maybe," Erza replied too briefly and casually, without any burden at all.

Novan rolled his eyes lazily, followed by a rough and fast breath, "I refuse to answer."

"If I had a girlfriend, I would tell you too, I'm open. And you? Well, that's cheating."

"I don't care, it's you and Marcell, not me. Never mind." Novan rose to his feet.

"Well, where are you going?"

"Outside, looking for wind."

"How come I'm not invited?" Erza pointed at himself, right in the chest.

"Hey, who would want to invite you?"

"So I'm left alone?"

"That is, unless you want to go out too. But I don't want to be followed by you, I have my own business, and you don't try to follow me secretly. If you get caught doing that—" Novan showed his fist, as if that would scare Erza half to death, "—you'll know the consequences."

"But."

"I'm not messing around!" Novan exclaimed.

Erza immediately pouted. "You're just looking for wind, you can't even come."

"You're on your own. Bye, I'm leaving now!" Novan ran out of his classroom, as quickly as he had disappeared from Erza's sight.

Erza was still stunned that Novan had actually left him. "Holy shit, I was really left behind. What's wrong with that kid? It's really strange. I'll just follow him, okay? But what if I get caught?" Erza thought about Novan's threat a moment ago, but then he shook his head. "It's just Novan, what can he do? I'm not afraid of such threats, I'd better follow him."

Erza hurriedly left the classroom, but once he was in the outside area, of course Novan was gone, gone somewhere.

"He said he wanted to get some air, so he must have gone to the rooftop, or not the park. Yeah, I'm sure I'm not wrong." Erza continued walking at a brisk pace. In the middle of his steps, an assumption suddenly popped into his brain. "Is it possible that the boy wants to meet his girlfriend? That's why I'm not allowed to come? Maybe so, and that's why he insisted on not letting me come. My guess must be right!"

Erza's steps were fast and steady. He turned toward the park, but when he got there, Novan wasn't there, making Erza snort as his efforts were wasted going here.

"There's no mistaking it, he must be on the rooftop, I'll follow him there, I want to monitor the boy. I'm curious about the girl Novan has been crushing on."

Erza turned around, his legs, which had continued to swing, had now changed their destination. A few moments later, he had arrived, but instead of Novan, whom he saw as predicted, it was an unfamiliar sight that Erza saw.

It was a sight that made him surprised, dumbfounded, and shocked. Erza even gaped while blinking a lot. This was out of Erza's mind. The boy even held his breath.

Erza was shocked by what his eyeballs caught.
