As per Eleanora's request, the girls had all recieved guest room close to her own bedroom. The rooms were bigger than even the house apartment that Rose Garden was using, and this was just one room.
The room itself seemed basic, with a table and a couple of chairs, a desk, two night stands and a relatively large bed. But to Veronica, it was clear as day that even the chair was worth more than she'd ever even see in years.
"I sense a small amount of Hakano magic here... I'll go check it out. It feels oddly familiar, similar to that dungeon." Lilith said, floating off to her own goal, leaving Veronica all alone in this very, very expensive room.
Veronica had some trouble getting comfortable in this room, afraid that she might do something that could potentially ruin her entire life, financially. Though, a knock came to the door.
"Y-Yes? Come inside." Veronica said, hoping she spoke correctly.
Veronica was rather surprised by who came into the room. The Queen herself entered the room, by herself. Veronica silently started to freak out, thinking that this is where it all ends.
The Queen was exceptionally beautiful. It was clear that both her daughters shared her beauty. Her red hair flowed down to her shoulders, and her green eyes look determined and focused. And for being Queen, with two children who are around twenty, she seemed rather young.
"M-My Queen! How m-may I help you?" Veronica stuttered as she bowed down.
"No need for the bowing my dear. And please, in private you can call me Priscilla." She said as she took a seat on one of the chairs.
"Very well, L-Lady Priscilla." Veronica still wanted to be as respectful as possible, which had inadvertently caused the Queen to giggle a bit.
"My daughter has told me quite a lot about you, specifically. In fact, in one of her letters, she wrote how you stole her heart." Priscilla spoke with a grin.
"S-She did?" Veronica questioned her friend, but grew blush as she heard what Eleanora's thoughts were.
"And how you have a sort of polygamous relationship with quite a number of women." Priscilla continued. "Though, there was one thing I simply can't believe, and decided to ask you directly. She said that you've already had gotten a few women pregnant. But you are a woman, no?"
"W-Well, you see..." Veronica had tried to explain her situation has eloquently as possible.
"I see. Hm. Then that means... I have an offer for you."
"An offer?"
"Yes. Due to your unique traits, and how much my youngest seems to adore you, I wish for you to marry both Celia and take Eleanora as one of your mistresses." Priscilla said.
Veronica couldn't believe what she was hearing. It wouldn't be that simple, and she barely knows Celia.
"W-W-Why?"
"Celia is next in line for the throne. However, she needs to be married soon. I can hold off marriage proposals for so long, even as Queen. I don't trust any of the men who wish to take her, especially after what my husband has tried to pull. Not to mention, I do not wish to send Eleanora to another kingdom. So, I want you to become Celia's consort, take Eleanora and whomever else you choose as mistresses."
There had to be something else. What the catch? It really cannot be that simple.
"It can't be that simple... can it?"
"Of course not. Firstly, you need to get Celia to fall in love with you first. Secondly, you need to obtain a title. I can bestow a title to you, however, you actually need to do something to recieve it. Luckily for you and your merry band of deviants, I have the perfect quest for you to go on to recieve such a title."
"And that is?"
"We've been having issues with the Elves. Apparently some group is trying to restart the war, and they primarily use humans to do so. I want you and your friends to investigate and put an end to this. We cannot risk another war. Eleanora can come with you, though if you wish for herself to stay her, I can help find a fourth person to join you." Priscilla explained.
"Wouldn't other nobles notice that something is off, due to my being a woman?"
"Word may spread, but not a single one would dare go against us. They may want to, but our family is more powerful than they could ever imagine."
"I see... Then I would have to talk to the others to see what they'd think before I accept anything."
"That's acceptable. I will give you a few days before I officially state anything." Priscilla had gotten up and left the room, leaving Veronica to think about it all.
"Solve this issue, become a noble, and then marry both princesses... I've never expected my life to turn about this way..."
