"Elvira, those days humans learned so much from the werewolves then it turned. Werewolves are powerful but are now learning so much from human beings too."
"I have been wondering, why do we always run into that state of existence?"
"Existence, itself is a chaotic experience and the more we are here the more chaos there would be. It's something we need to understand and learn to manipulate."
"So that's what it takes to be alive?"
"It's part of what it takes to be alive. One needs to be able to dream too. That's what keeps us going."
"I hope to be greater someday. I'll have to continue dreaming and working towards the dream."
"Exactly. The universe doesn't care whether you go or not. It only cares about your ability to get what you want out of it."
"I see."
"That's what it is. That evolution will always be there. The paranormals will always be there too. You know I do lots of research in my labs."
Deep in the forest. A noise woke up everything including the dead. Old Alpha woke up too and he didn't just wake up he woke up with the energy of fifty werewolves. He howled and moved gradually back into the city. Not alone but with his soldiers from the land of death.
Before they went into the city he asked them to wait that he needed to admonish them because of his experiences with humans and even the werewolves packs.
They looked tattered because they have been dead and buried for years and they smell too.
"What is this you are saying? Better go back now before I dissect your loin."
"You are talking to an Alpha," Old Alpha said.
"I was an Alpha myself too. 2000 years ago. I don't think you were born then. So stay aside. I know the world better than you do."
"That's why I'll see you will be dying first if you don't listen."
"Listen to who? You this little he brat. I sat before kings. Who are you?"
A man stepped forward among them. He wore baggy trousers and his chest is open because he wore no shirt. He had lots of tattoos patched up on his shoulders and some ran across his stomach.
"Let's vote for who leads use Among these two. Does anyone agree with me?"
"Yeah, let's vote."
"The vote will solve things."
"Let's do it."
After the vote was counted. Old Alpha won. And by the law, they enacted he can ask them to do anything. Anyone who disobeyed will be killed and burned down to ashes.
"Thank you for voting me," Old Alpha said.
"How long do we have before the war?" One of them asked.
"You'll wait until I say attack.
"Okay."
***
They stepped into the forest and started moving toward the fortress. That's where Old Alpha said they should look forward to. They moved swiftly so that you will think they've started working with the lightning moving about the sky.
"I'll let you know when we need to attack. For now, we'll only be observing." Old Alpha said.
"Alright." They said.
His new men from the dead are about 200 in number and they were all previously killed for dealing in something shady. They woke up to do their own part of existence that was cut short by their killer.
"Life is grey. Your moral justice system is a fad. I'll make you pay for this."
The man killed by Georgina was there too. He was buried in the fortress backyard, but here he's among them. He's the only human among them and looks younger because most of the others have been dead more than 50 years ago. The oldest among them is the 2000 years dead Alpha fighting Old Alpha over leadership. He'll be killed faster because he knew nothing about cars or any other gadgets in use in this century.
"Follow me." Old Alpha said. He walked like a king and he was ready to kill for anything.
The thing with waking up from the dead is that they don't care about anything. They just want to destroy things.
"Stop mumbling," Old Alpha shouted at them. "Walk silently. I don't want to hear anything from anyone."
They woke up with their wounds when they died.
One of them, his eyes were plunged out and he could only see through nothing but the voices of people.
One of them was stabbed in the head. The scar was still there and the dagger wasn't removed too. He walked around with it.
One of them had multiple arrowed holes in his chest.
One of them walked with his intestines in his hands.
One of them clings to a briefcase.
Old Alpha asked him.
"What's in the briefcase? Do you have money in it?
"I don't know." He said.
***
Those walking from the dead are only here to kill. The money or whatever there is in it for them adds nothing to them.
Those that woke up from the dead, should be happy and have fun.
They should know it's a new world order for them only that they get to earn nothing.
***
When they got closer to the fortress, Old Alpha laughed again and again. Then he started dancing.
"Finally, we are closer to the fortress."
One of them asked.
"What are we doing in the fortress?"
"We'll kill everyone there." Old Alpha said. He pointed to the road leading to the middle of the next road.
***
Before they enter the road, he sat everyone down and said to them:
"The world of the human, the werewolves and ours is different. But once a werewolf is always a werewolf. So be careful out there. I know you are not smart but once they shoot your head, you are gone forever. Make sure your head is safe all the time but if you want to die, expose your head to them then you are gone."
They giggled.
"They laugh so much but don't give them the chance to blow your head off. I can still remember how I died but I won't die that way again. I will kill and kill before anything. Make sure you kill."
"Alright." They said.
"Oh you don't, you are doomed. I'm telling you now make sure you kill. Kill as much as possible. You have nothing to lose. You are messed up already, so killing should not be hard. Kill them all. Don't pity anyone."
"We'll do just that." They said.
"Good. You folks are ready to ball. The game just starts getting real." He smiled. "We are going to kill and enjoy."
"That's what we will do." They said.
They heard footsteps. Heavy ones. They looked back and saw another dead fellow coming towards them with a chainsaw. He was a logger but was shot dead by Aiden. He joined them, they welcomed him. They laughed together and the Old Alpha said.
"We have lots more to cover before we storm the fortress than the city to kill everyone."
"What is that?" The new member asked.
"Good," the Old Alpha said. "We need to have a specific hideout each time and that will change every time. If they know where you stay, they will kill you faster. Now, that's not good for business."
As it gets darker into the night, they looked better. They can only operate at night and very early in the morning. The afternoon is meant for them to hide away or they die.
Now it's around 2:38 am, people are sleeping, they are in the forest strategizing.
"We have high-end abilities. Use them to your advantage. You are dead but look at your skin now. You are fresher than them. You can see, this is wonderful."
They started looking at their bodies as the transformations were happening. The one with his intestines out got it back to him and he became really handsome that ladies will rush him. The 2000 year dead Alpha was transformed too only that he will be changing clothes soon when to enter the city.
Old Alpha laughed then howled and started dancing again.
"It never really felt good like this. It's good to be dead." He giggled, others joined him and they continued giggling.
***
Alpha Aiden woke up that moment from a sad nightmare. He was about to kill Sam and Damien when Catherine called him. He looked at the clock. It was 2:45 AM.
"I need to get back to sleep." He said then curled up beside Catherine who had been soundly asleep.
***
At a moment, thunder strokes and another gravestone fell off. Another dead fellow gradually came out. At first, they didn't see his face. He was faceless then a face appeared. It was Sam's father. Danny, that's what they called him back then. He worked for the Dikkorp, back then.
The thunderbolt brought other people out. Georgina came out of her grave. The same with Lillian too. They laughed out loud and that connected them to the others.
Old Alpha shouted and laughed.
"New members are waking up. We are going to rock this world." He laughed.
***
Sam woke up with the same nightmare but with a little twist. He dreamt he killed, Alpha, Damien and Elle. He was shocked. He never really use to dream about anything.
He looked at Elle who was fast asleep beside him. He smiled and kisses her forehead.
"Nothing will happen, darling. Nothing."
He went back to sleep.
***
Georgina and Lillian joined them. Old Alpha laughed.
"We are getting stronger. You are all welcome once again. You are welcome."
Georgina and Lillian joined them standing beside the chainsaw man.
Minutes later it started raining. Old Alpha, laughed and walked closer to them.
"The rain is a blessing. Wash very well. We are about to start.
The next night, they increased in number. Old Alpha took them to the fallen warehouse and sat before them. It has been raining nonstop since yesterday.
They stood before him, their skins getting fresher and their dead smells going away from them. He smiled when he saw the transition. Quickly he climbs a broken and burnt car close to the entrance of the warehouse which is now of frames that are about to fall down.
They looked into the sky, the rain falling hard on them like knives but instead of piercing their skins, it continued transforming them.
"Georgina, come over here and join me. I have some questions to ask you."
Georgina jumped from where she was and landed on the car. She smiled.
"I only think about that and it happened."
"That's transformation. We gather here tonight to make sure we have plans on how to kill everyone in Smallsville. They killed me, they killed and they killed all of you here. I want to take back what they took from me."
"I want to take back what they took from me too." Everyone continued shouting it aggressively. Georgina responded.
"I'm Georgina. And from how I don't have a surname again. I denounced that at my death. Now what I have in mind is to set them all ablaze after tying them up. It will be good to watch them burn. They killed us. They took everything from us. The ambitions, the care for loved ones, the loyalty and just everything. They took it all from us. I can't wait to see them dying."
"Thank you, Georgina." Old Alpha said. "Now everyone, let's be sure we have a good start. Start small. Remember we have nothing to lose. Don't allow them to shoot your head. If they do, you are gone forever."

In the morning, Catherine received a letter in a brown envelope with a stamp on it that said from Old Alpha. She was surprised. She quickly went into her office and opened the envelope. What she found inside was a tiny white paper saying:
"I wrote this last night after the meeting with you Catherine. I have been found and I'm awake now. Alpha and his friends killed me and you all shall pay for it."
She was startled. Quickly she ran into his old room and rummaged through his collections. He's known to write so much. When she opened one of his notes and studied the handwriting in both the note and letter, she found that they are from the same person. She became dumbfounded and ran back into her office.
***
That same letter reached his daughter, Elizabeth, but with little modification of love, you and I'm coming for you. She dropped into her bed and started crying. Minutes later, she stood up and grabbed the double-barrel gun in her wardrobe, loaded it with bullets and stormed out of the room.

Early in the morning and the weather was misty. It rained out last night as it'll never stop. John, Maddie and Elvira stood in front of an office complex talking.
"Elvira, this will be your office from now on. You have all the books you need there and more will come when you asked for them. You are starting a new journey today. It's going to be tough but rewarding."
"That's what he told me when he started teaching business years ago," Maddie added.
"Stop it, Maddie," John said. "Allow the little one to learn. It's a process and you have to focus on it. As time goes by many things will become clearer and many will become vague, you must continue."
"I must continue." She said.
"Yes, you must continue. Look, a lot of people will die sooner or later. It's part of the plan. You'll watch them die, you will allow them to die and you send some to death."
She smiled knowing she has already started that. Knowing if that's it then she has no problems with it.
"You should be ready, my dear," John said.
"You should be ready," Maddie said.
They walked into the office to celebrate her. She just joined The Dikkorps inner circle. She'll see more, make decisions and take action. It's going to be adventurous, she said in her mind.
When she got back home. She found a cake on the table. She smiled. It's from John. Then under the cake, she found a brown envelope. It's not signed. She opened it. Curiously, she started reading it.
"I love you, Elvira. You don't know this and you probably didn't know me. I'm a spy in Smallsville working inside the fortress. The feelings I have for you are beyond me. I'll love to be with you, dine with you and smile with you. Though you are far away from me, I'm with you every time. Even right now."
"Then show yourself." She screamed. She grabbed the cake and threw it at the wall.
"Damnit!"
"The plan is working. Let's see what the letters will do. They have started brewing problems. I am happy. That's what we stand for. We create problems and wash them run through."
The dead pack has grown. More dead folks joined them and they are going to start a war in Smallsville.
"I'll like to work in the kitchen where we roast them." The chainsaw man said. They laughed and asked him to stop it that his chainsaw is too big and will roughen the meats for them.
"Stop it, people. His chainsaw is an asset. It'll break bones and skulls for us."
"When are we attacking?" one of them asked.
"Soon."

Catherine lay in bed in her room thinking through everything. The letter talked about Alpha killing Old Alpha and Alpha didn't say anything to her about him. He didn't even make many attempts to see that they find him. Rather he seemed to be hiding something from her. She is thinking about those days when everything was open between them. Why is he hiding things away from her?
She needs to confront him about the letter but then how will a dead man be writing a letter to her. What's about to happen?
She knew they'd been through lots of strange unexplainable things recently. Is this one of them?
