Chapter 110

“Then, you are hired. You can start tomorrow, and if you need anything, you could ask me.” Leo bit his lip and prevented himself from grabbing Leah. He felt he would lose his mind because he had been seeing Blossom for almost three years.

Leah closed her eyes. She smiled, and her eyes glowed with so much happiness. “Thank you, sir Fontaine. I promised that I would work hard to stay here in this company. It's a big help, especially because I'm saving for my kid's future.”

Leah was about to leave when Leo called her. Although Leah was confused about why her future boss called her, she didn't want to disrespect him because she was scared she might lose her job offer.

“If you are working. Who will take care of your babies? Are they fine without you? As my secretary, you should be with me whenever I need you, especially when I need to be out of the country for a meeting.” Leo was cold when he spoke those words. He didn't want Leah to think he would be too easy for her.

If Leah was Blossom, then why couldn't she even remember him? Does Leah have amnesia? Leo wanted to know the truth.

“Mr. Fontaine, I want to be honest with you. I didn't have a house that we could sleep in. We are from the province, and we went here because I couldn't find the best job there. My children will grow, and I must save a lot for their future.” Leah explained, which made Leo nod his head. Leo coughed and looked away when Leah didn't stop staring at him.

“Mr. Fontaine, do I know you? Maybe you are that famous, and I accidentally saw you in a magazine. I have known you for so long, but I can't remember everything.” Leah bit her lips, but Leo was stunned. He knew that if someone was familiar to her, it meant that Leah was Blossom, but he needed to make sure.

Leo fakes his cough again before he says, “I can help you with that one. Leah, right?” Leo stopped and looked at Leah so profoundly.

“I can pay for someone who can help you care for them. Don't worry; It will not be subtracted from your monthly salary. It was free because the company told me how hard it is to be a single mother.” Leo made it clear so Leah wouldn't worry about many things.

Leah felt even more delighted. She didn't know what she would say about Leo's offer. She bit her lips which made Leo gulp because he could feel that something inside him was about to explode.

“It was nice that this company is thinking about their employees. This is a great offer; thank you, Mr. Fontaine.” Leah smiled before she left Leo's office. Leo took his phone and avoided investigating who Leah Thompson was.

Leah widened her eyes when she saw how big the house that Leo made her live in was. It was the mansion of the Fontaine family, and it looked like they were celebrating something. Leah could hear the classical music coming from the extensive estate.

She peeked at Leo, who was helping her to carry Adam, the eldest of her babies.

“Mr. Fontaine, are you sure this is where the company offers us to live for free?” Leah couldn't stop herself from asking Leo. She blinked her eyes when she noticed what Leo looked like with Adam. They were both cold when they glanced at her at the same time.

Leah almost stopped her breathing when she felt that something in her heart was overwhelming. Seeing her boss look like her son made her think about who Leo was.

“Yes, everything is free. Don't worry; I think you can help my mother to be happy. She liked to take care of babies.” Leo answered, which made Leah stunned.

What? Leah didn't know that it was her boss's mother who would take care of her babies. She felt that she needed to leave because she felt embarrassed.

“My whole family was here, and I think they needed to know who my secretary was.” Leo pulled Leah, which gave Leah no choice but to follow him. Leah tightened her grip on Allen, who was her second baby.

Leo didn't let Leah complain, and when the maids saw him, they opened the door for him. Leo pulled Leah again, and he felt how Leah was getting nervous when she saw his family.

Leo faked his cough. He had already told his family about Leah, and Jane was the one who didn't know about it. Leo didn't know that Jane and Wade would go to their house with Jeremy.

“Leo!” Jane rushed, but she stopped when she noticed the woman on Leo's side. The woman had a baby in her arms while she was looking at Jane with many questions in her eyes.

“Blossom..” Jane was speechless. She didn't know how to react, but tears formed in her eyes. She couldn't stop herself from hugging Leah tightly. She missed Blossom!

Leah felt that something in her heart was stabbed. She didn't know who the woman in front of her was, but when she saw how Jane was about to cry, she felt even more confused.

“I'm sorry, my name is Leah Thompson,” Leah mumbled and caressed Jane's back. Jane was stunned; she couldn't understand because she was sure that Blossom was standing in front of her.

Jane glimpsed at the child with Leo, and that baby looked like her cousin. He was the mini version of Leo, and when she checked the baby who was with Leah, it looked like Leo too, but the baby was more jolly.

Jane was about to ask for more when Wade gripped her waist and pulled her closer to him. Jane felt that there was something that she didn't know.

“Baby, Jeremy needs you. He's crying because he needs some milk.” Wade let Leah hear what he said. He smiled at Leah, who was watching them.

“I'm Wade. She's my wife; her name is Jane. Nice to meet you, Leah.” Wade chuckled when he saw how Leo groaned because he was jealous again. He remembered when they were studying, and Leo kept looking at Blossom from afar. He tried to talk with Blossom, and Leo walked out in so much jealousy.

“Oh…” Leah giggled and caressed Allen's hair. “Jane is lucky to have you. You are good-looking, and I think you break many women's hearts.”

Jane laughed so hard while Wade pouted like a child. Uriel didn't stop himself from laughing too. It was the best because he was still mad at Wade for marrying his favorite sister.

“Wait. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I think that he's too good-looking, and I could feel that he was a playboy when Jane wasn't with him.” Leah felt anxious that she might break Wade's heart. The whole family couldn't stop themselves from laughing at Wade.

Wade groaned. “I met someone, a woman who looks like you. I tried to persuade her because my friend likes her so much, but that woman told me I have a playboy vibe, and she didn't like it.”

Jane knew that it was Blossom who said to her husband. She grinned because Wade finally burned himself. She liked it whenever Wade felt humiliated.

“Oh, who is this young man?” Leo's mother wanted to cry, but she couldn't, especially since Leah would be more confused if Leah saw how she would act.

“Adam, introduce yourself, baby,” Leah mumbled, which made Adam frown and shake his head. Leah pouted because she knew Adam was the type of boy who didn't trust the first person she would meet. But what was strange, Adam went to Leo's arms without even complaining.

“He is Adam, and I'm Allen. My brother didn't like to talk with humans. He prefers aliens and computers.” Allen wanted to be in the spotlight now, which made Adam groan in annoyance.

“What did you say? Allen, I'm your older brother!” Adam looked so mad that his skin got pink. He rolled his eyes when Allen acted like he didn't hear what he was telling him.

“Oh, your name is Adam, and this playful man is Allen.” Leo's mother took Allen in Leah's arms. She bit her lips and tried to hide her tears, but she failed because Adam noticed she was crying.

“Why is this woman crying, Mom? Did Allen do something wrong? I knew that my brother was innocent!” Adam wanted to protect his younger brother, who made Leo's mother laugh hard.

“Of course, Allen didn't do anything wrong. Let's eat. I'm so happy that I feel complete now.” Leo's mother suggested and took Allen with her. She was too busy taking care of Allen while Adam was taking care of Leo.

Leah pouted and looked at the expensive plate that she had. It was too odd that the Fontaine family made her feel she finally had a family.

Since she woke up, she didn't know about her identity. She was astounded when the nurse told her that she had a twin baby boy, which made her feel happier, but there was something inside her that she could distinguish.

She was happy, but something inside her wasn't complete yet.

“Leah, you should start eating. Don't mind your babies; we will take care of them.” Leo's mother lovingly uttered, which made Leah nod her head. She began eating the food so Leo's mother wouldn't think she was uncomfortable.

“This will be your room. I want the babies to have their room, but my son told me I should ask you first.” Leo's mother said when she ushered Leah inside her room. Leah's eyes widened when she saw what her room looked like. It was so big than to the apartment that she was renting.

“It's so big. Ma'am, are you sure that this will be free? I don't think my salary can even pay for this room.” Leah was so amazed that she didn't even see how Leo's mother got tears when she mentioned that she couldn't afford to rent a room.

Leo's mother felt terrible that her daughter-in-law experienced poverty while they were all rich and had a lot of money to spend on luxurious things.

“What do you mean? Is it fine with you if I ask you some personal questions? But it's not okay with you; it's fine with me.” Leo's mother didn't like Leah to feel uncomfortable. She closed her eyes when Leah replied.

“It's fine, Mrs. Fontaine. You should know me first because we will live in the same big house. Sadly, I didn't know who am I. I woke up in the hospital, and I didn't know about myself. But what made me sure was those boys were my son. They even gave me the DNA results in case I didn't believe them. I was working in the hospital and helping them so I could have the house.”

“But the hospital needed to be closed. There were a lot of people who worked for them that needed some money. They are all kind, and I wish I could help them.”

Leo's mother nodded and noted about the hospital that helped Leah. She was thankful that someone cared for her daughter-in-law without paying them back. There were a lot of people who were still kind in this world.

“I worked at a small eatery but left when my boss tried to assault me. I can't even pay some of my debts and our rent. That's why when I saw that the Fontaine company was hiring, I tried to apply, and I was lucky to be hired.

Leo's mother left Leah with her kids so she could take care of them. When she entered the dining room, she saw Leo, who was with Erin.

“What is she doing here?” Leo's mother asked; she felt disgusted that a woman like Erin was inside her house.

She called her trusted maid to protect Leah, whatever it caused. Because of the noises, Jane came out of their room; she saw that Leah was about to leave the room to check.

“Leah, don't leave them. I will check whatever it is. You need a rest since you will work starting tomorrow, right?” Jane was so sweet and even guided Leah inside her room. Leah was so obedient and locked the door, which made Jane feel relief. Jane angrily went to the dining room, and she even saw how Erin talked back to her parents.

“This is my husband's house, and how dare you kick me out?” Erin screamed at Jane's mother, which made Jane see all red. She grabbed Erin's hand and slapped her multiple times.
