Leah was confused, and she wanted to ask about their status, but she didn't like to be called Leo's mistress. She dislikes being a mistress, and she doesn't want to be hypocritical by saying that she dislikes being with Leo.
Leah couldn't understand why she was too attached to Leo. It looked like Leo was the soulmate she had met at the wrong time. She closed her eyes when Leo looked at her with strange emotions.
What she couldn't understand was that Leo was too familiar to her. It looked like they had known each other for so long, or maybe they had a relationship when she didn't have amnesia. However, Leah knew that she wasn't rich, and she didn't have any money to support herself, so how could she know Leo if she still remembered everything?
“What are you thinking? You look serious. Are you excited to see your boyfriend?” Leo asked in jealousy and glared at Leah as if he was giving Leah a warning to say something nice to him. Leah bit her lips and looked away.
“What are you talking about? I'm not thinking about Johnny.” Leah could believe that Leo had dared to act like her boyfriend. Although she wanted to deny that Johnny was her boyfriend, she didn't want Johnny to be embarrassed with Leo.
Johnny was so soft-hearted, but Leah didn't even romantically like him. Aside from that, Johnny told her that he was her friend and his girlfriend whom Leah hoped to meet in the future.
At first, Leah didn't believe it, but when Leah heard that Johnny was reporting to his girlfriend about her, Leah realized that maybe Johnny's girlfriend was her friend too.
“You mention his name as if he is the most important man in your life, Leah. Tell me, did you love him? Did he know that you are sleeping with me?” Leo was furious and gripped Leah's hand, which made Leah's forehead crease.
Leah tried to pull her hand into Leo's grip, but Leo didn't let her, which made Leah grit her teeth and push Leo away from her. Leah gasped when Leo grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to him.
Leah felt suffocated, and she started to pant because of Leo.
“You're hurting me,” Leah murmured breathlessly. She closed her eyes and tried to say something when her eyes widened, and a memory flashed in her mind.
Leah felt that her world had stopped revolving, and she saw herself looking in the mirror while wearing expensive clothes. It looked like it was her true self, which made her mouth hang open.
“Leah! I'm talking to you.” Leo tapped Leah's shoulder, but Leah couldn't hear him. Leah massaged her temple, and she listened to many screams from the crowd.
Slowly, Leah's body fell on the floor, and Leo tried to catch her, but she failed. Leo's eyes expanded, and he was in a panic when he called his men to ask someone who would help Leah.
Leah was rushed to the hospital and put in the private room Leo had requested. Leo felt worried that something terrible might happen to Blossom. He looked at the doctors trying to help her, and when he saw Leah's phone, he grabbed it.
Leo didn't like to call Johnny but had no choice since Johnny was Leah's doctor. He checked Leah's phone, and he was thankful that it had a password. When he opened it, he went to Leah's contact and dialed Johnny.
“Leah, what's wrong? Did Leo do something bad to you?” Johnny asked when he answered the phone call.
Leo scowled, and he didn't even know if he would be mad at Johnny. Leo faked his cough and turned around.
“Leah is in the hospital. She is unconscious. We were talking when she collapsed.” Leo informed Johnny, which made Johnny tell him that he would go to the hospital because they didn't know what had happened to Leah.
Johnny even asked where the hospital Leo rushed Leah, and Leo answered the name of the hospital. Minutes passed, and the doctor assisting Leah received a phone call from their head and told them it was Johnny's patient.
Since it was Johnny's patient, they couldn't do anything to Leah and wait for Johnny in the hospital. Although, the doctor did everything to make sure that Leah was safe.
‘It looked like Johnny was powerful. I thought he was an ordinary doctor, but I was wrong.’ Leo thought and watched how the doctor felt disappointed that they couldn't make Leo pleased.
“Secure this hospital. I don't want the media to know about Leah.” Leo ordered his bodyguard and glimpsed at Leah, who was still unconscious.
Johnny arrived at the hospital using the jet that he had bought. He only used it whenever he needed to come to another country too fast. Even though he looked like he was rushing everything, he looked fresh and stunning in every nurse's and doctor's eyes.
“I'm sorry if I'm late. My men forgot to fill the tank of my jets.” Every people in the hospital was amazed when Johnny spoke those words. It looked natural to him to say he was using a jet, and they realized how important the woman was to Johnny.
When Leo heard that Johnny used a jet to examine Leah, he knew he was right. Johnny looked simple, but he was hiding how wealthy he was from everybody. It looked like he didn't like to be treated special. Now, he realizes that Johnny hid his identity because he had money to hide it.
Johnny went inside Leah's room, and Leo was about to go inside when the group of men came inside and stopped Leo.
Leo was furious when Johnny gave him a cold glimpse before he said, “I want my patient's case to be private. Aside from that, you aren't Leah's relative.”
Johnny's tone was so sarcastic that Leo almost gritted his teeth in so much annoyance. All Leo wanted to do was punch Johnny, but if he did that, Leah would be mad at him.
“I'm her boss, and she is my responsibility.” Leo felt that she was spitting some venom when he spoke that he was Leah's friend. The world knew that he was married to Erin even though it was fake for him.
“You are her boss, but I'm her boyfriend.” Johnny angrily exclaimed; he didn't wait for Leo to defend himself and closed the doctor.
“She will remember everything. It's part of the effect of the pill.” Johnny informed his men and started doing things to check on Leah.
While Leo was still standing behind the door, he felt that he couldn't move his feet because of what Johnny had said to him. Boyfriend?
Johnny and Leah kept telling him that they were in a relationship, but why did Leah keep sleeping with him? Blossom loved him so much, Leo was sure of that, and he would do anything for Leah.
The people who heard what Johnny had spoken were shocked. They couldn't believe that the woman they were assisting was Johnny's woman. They wanted to say something, but they stopped themselves from telling the truth.
Of course, they didn't want to offend the great Leo Fontaine! They knew how Leo had the power to take down the hospital they had been working at.
“She can remember everything; it looked like there's a reason why her memories triggered to come out,” Sophia told Johnny when Johnny called her about Leah.
“Is this the effect of the pill?” Johnny was worried, but he trusted Sophia so much.
“Yeah. Blossom knew about it when she permitted me to inject it into her. This is part of her revenge plan.”
“What should I do next? Babe, I trust you with this one.”
“Let her sleep. I'm sure that she will not still remember everything. We need to trigger Erin so she will feel how it feels like when her husband has another woman.”
When Leah opened her eyes, she felt her head aching, and she saw Johnny sleeping on the couch. She turned around to see Leo, but Leo wasn't in the room.
“Johnny,” Leah called Johnny, which made Johnny open his eyes, and he was pleased when Leah was finally awake.
“What happened? Why am I here in the hospital?” Leah couldn't stop herself from getting worried.
Was she sick or not?
“You passed out when you were about to leave this country. As your acting boyfriend, I let your boss stay outside.” Johnny smirked, and he felt glad that Leo didn't have the right to complain.
“Oh, why did you do that? I can't believe you!” Leah felt terrible for Leo, and whenever she imagined Leo sleeping outside, her heart shuttered.
Johnny shrugged his shoulders and whistled as if he didn't mind if Leo were mad at him. Johnny's dream was to make Leo jealous because of him. He wanted to see how long he would stop telling Leah everything.
“Leah, did you remember everything?” Johnny couldn't stop asking and felt nervous when Leah's expression turned cold.
