Leah blinked her eyes after she heard what Johnny had been asking her. Did she remember everything? She took a deep breath and tried to remember what she had seen in her memories, but it faded. She felt desperate because Johnny needed to know what she had seen was too crucial.
Leah gripped the sheets, and her eyes started to water whenever she tried to remember but failed. Why couldn't she remember everything? Why does she feel useless if she doesn't know why or how she lost her memories?
Johnny's eyes expanded, and he stepped closer to Leah. He sighed deeply and hugged Leah tightly. Johnny felt his heart crushed, and he didn't like to do the plan anymore. But he promised Blossom and Sophia that he would act on what seemed to be their goals.
“Why do I feel that I'm not complete without my memory? Johnny, who am I? I wanted to know who is the true me.” Leah cried horribly and embraced Johnny's body.
“Is your memory too important to you? Leah, when you aren't going to the city and live in the part of the province, I didn't even see how desperate you are to get back your memories. What happened?” Johnny wanted to tell Leah that Leo always triggered her memories, but he knew that once he exposed it, Leah would ask what her connections with Leo were.
“Of course, it's too important to me. Johnny, it feels like you are me to live in this world while I stop breathing. When I woke up, I saw on my finger that I had a wedding ring. Who is my husband? Who is the father of my child? Did he think that I'm dead?" Leah doesn't stop asking Johnny, which makes Johnny massage his temple. Johnny hoped that Sophia was with him so Sophia would explain everything to Leah.
But Sophia didn't want to meet Leah, especially if Leah was awake, because she didn't like Leah to remember everything too fast. Johnny felt exhausted, but he couldn't complain because if she tried to complain, Sophia would be mad at him and not talk to him for decades.
“Leah, I'm your friend. Even though I want to tell you everything you want, I still can't. It's your choice. You told me that even if I pleaded or begged to tell you the truth, I should stop telling you what was happening. Once you remember everything, you will realize I did what you requested.” Johnny felt that his heart was weak. He couldn't take it when Blossom cried in front of him since Blossom had been his best friend for so long. If he didn't love Sophia so much, he would not let himself be part of their plans.
Leah's mouth hung open. She looked at Johnny with a full of disbelief on her face. Leah couldn't understand why she asked Johnny not to say anything to her.
Leah bit her lips. Why does she need to find out? Why doesn't she like to know everything about her the past?
“I'm sorry, Leah. Even though I want to tell you I'm a man of words, I didn't want you to get mad at me if your memories came out. But I have good news for you. Since you slowly remember everything, there's a chance that you will remember everything without pushing yourself. So, all you need to do is to relax your mind.” Johnny mumbled and kissed the top of Leah's head. Leah closed her eyes and sobbed loudly because it was too painful for her that she didn't want to remember.
Since she had a wedding ring, does it mean that she chose to lose her memories to forget about the pain that she had felt? But why? Johnny kept telling her she was a fighter and didn't like an unfair system. Based on Johnny's stories, she looked like she was respectable.
“You should sleep. Think about your babies. They were waiting for you.” Johnny whispered and pulled her onto the bed. Johnny lay beside her and hugged her while caressing Leah's hair.
“The pain will be replaced by happiness. I can't believe that I'm witnessing you being like this. Leah, I'm sorry.” Johnny kept uttering some words, which made her slowly close her eyes to sleep. Even Leah tried harder to open her eyes, but she failed because she was still tired, and her body wanted her to rest.
But before she fell asleep, she heard Johnny mutter, “....Blossom Fontaine.”
While Leah was sleeping, she had a dream. She was inside the car. Johnny was driving the vehicle, and they were laughing while a woman was in Johnny's lap.
“Sophia, what are you doing? Shit! I don't like to witness how both of you will act like a whore in front of me.” Leah couldn't believe that she was saying those words. The woman, who had been named Sophia, chuckled and slapped Johnny in his arms.
“You don't like witnessing everything, but you do with us. Blossom, you are the highest-paid model now, and thanks to you, I'm in the private bar now!”
Blossom? Why does Sophia call her Blossom if her name is Leah Thompson? Leah was confused even in her dream no— she realized it was not a dream but a part of her memory.
“Forget about that asshole. He's a dick! I can't believe that you have married someone like him. You didn't deserve to be cheated on! I hate Leopold Fontaine! How dare he do that to you?” Sophia angrily commented and was about to say something when Johnny stopped her.
“What? It's wrong to lie! Blossom, Leo is such a mess. He is powerful but an asshole!” Sophia looked drunk, and Johnny kept kissing her to prevent Sophia from saying something to Blossom.
“S…Shit! I'm drinking this expensive wine, and you are scolding me.” Leah cried, and she felt her heart because she was heartbroken.
Leo? Leopold Fontaine was her boss and slept with her a lot of times. Leah felt the painful impact in her chest, and she couldn't breathe properly.
“Blossom, you don't deserve this treatment. We both have the same enemy, right?” Sophia chuckled and kissed Johnny aggressively.
Leah was crying in her dream that she couldn't even see that she was crying for real. She woke up when someone was shaking her shoulders which Leah called even more, and opened her eyes.
She blinked her eyes repeatedly when her vision was blurry. Leah bit her lips when she saw Leo, who was looking at her with worry in his eyes.
Leo. He's the man that Sophia was talking about, and it looked like Sophia told her that Leo was her husband.
Leah swallowed and gasped when she felt her chest clenched in grief. Leo cheated on her, and he hurt her so badly.
“Leah, are you okay?” Leo tried to touch her, but Leah pushed him away, leaving Leo stunned momentarily. Leo didn't remove his sight from Leah, as if he couldn't believe that Leah chose not to be kind to him.
“What's wrong? I'm only waking you because I saw you crying silently while sleeping.” Leo was about to move closer to Leah, but Leah waved her hand and angrily looked at Leo.
“What are you doing here, Mr. Fontaine?” Leah's tone was outraged, which made Leah didn't know if he had done something wrong to her. Leo asked Johnny what happened to Leah, and Johnny was honest with him that Leah still did not remember everything.
But now, Leah gave him a look as if she loathed him to death, and Leo remembered how Blossom looked like when she came back after the cheating issues.
“Leah, didn't I tell you that you shall not call me that way? Do you want me to kiss you?” Leo grabbed Leah's waist and was about to give Leah a kiss when Leah slapped him on his face.
Leo was in the puzzle and couldn't understand why Leah had slapped him. He didn't even do anything wrong to her, and seeing how pierced Leah was, he wanted to punish her.
“Get out!” Leah screamed out of her lungs which made Leo's body freeze. Leo didn't want to leave Leah, but when Leah grabbed her IV fluids and started throwing a lot of things, Leo didn't have a choice but to do what she wanted.
Johnny was about to go inside when he heard weird noises from Leah's room. He rushed inside, saw Leah throwing many things, and yelled as if she was losing her mind.
Leo was watching Leah and gazed at Johnny, who was surprised.
“Leo, what did you do to her?” Johnny felt agitated when he thought that maybe Leo forced Leah to remember many things.
“J…Johnny..” Leah felt that she had a savior in Johnny's shadow. When she remembered the part of her memories, Johnny was her best friend, and Sophia was his girlfriend.
Leah hugged Johnny tightly and cried hard. Leo didn't like what he saw, so he stepped forward. He madly pushed Johnny away from Leah, which made Leah widen her eyes.
“What are you doing?” Leah angrily asked and slammed her hands onto Leo's chest.
Leo didn't know what he was about to say. He wanted to yell at Leah, but seeing Leah's tears made Leo step back.
“Leah, what are you doing? Why are you hugging him after you slept with me many times?” Leo's tone broke in so much jealousy, and his eyes turned cold. Leah changed too fast, as if she was having a mental breakdown.
Leo preferred to hear something other than what Leah was about to answer him. He left the room without even thinking twice. Leo felt hurt and afraid that his wife had forgotten about him, and her feelings changed.
“Leah, what have you done? I can't understand why you are acting violently?” Johnny couldn't stop himself from wondering why Leah had suddenly changed.
Leah breathes out and hides her emotions. “I don't want to see him for now. I want to go back to our country today. Johnny, I know I ask you a lot of favors, but can you help me?”
Johnny nodded and didn't question Leah for her sudden decision. Leah bit her lips when she tried to stop herself from crying. She wanted to know what had happened to her.
Does Leo cheat on her?
“Okay, I will do everything that you wanted me to do. But I will ask my girlfriend for now.” Johnny was hesitant since Sophia was the charge of everything.
“Tell Sophia that I wanted your help. I know she will let you help me.” Leah told Johnny, which made Johnny widen his eyes.
“Your memories came back?”
“Not yet. I'm unlucky that the first thing I remembered was the disgusting intimacy with you and Sophia. There's a lot of memories that I can remember, but that's the first part of my memory.” Leah declared, which made Johnny feel even more embarrassed because he remembered what Leah had been talking with.
Johnny managed everything, and Leah went back to their country quickly. Leah decided to go in the Fontaine Family, and saw Jane smiling at her.
“Leah…” Jane called Leah which made Leah stop and look at Jane without emotion. Jane blinked her eyes, and seeing Leah being like that made her think that something terrible had happened.
“I came here to get Adam and Allen.” Leah stepped forward to the Fontaine Mansion. Jane was astounded when Leah acted that she existed.
Jane followed Leah when Leah stopped; she took Adam and Allen.
“When did you come back here with Leo?” Jane was curious because how Leah looked at her made her chills.
“Mr. Fontaine asked me to leave first. He still needed to fix it.” Leah replied and left while Adam and Allen were with her. Johnny came inside and took Adam in Leah's arms.
Jane was shocked. She didn't know how she should react and saw Leo's mother come forward and saw Leah holding Adam and Allen.
“I'm thankful you all made me leave her and my children. But my boyfriend has decided for me to live in his house. I'm sorry.” Leah announced, which made Leo's mother gasp for the sudden news.
