“L…Leah.” Leo's mother couldn't believe what she had heard. Leah had a boyfriend, and when she glimpsed the man that Leah had mentioned, it was her boyfriend.
“Leah.. you can stay here if you want..” Leo's mother said, and looked back at Leah.
Leah looked away, but it was clear she was clenching her teeth in so much madness. Leah tried to control her emotions because she couldn't understand why she didn't need to be mad at Leo's mother.
“I'm sorry, Mrs. Fontaine, but my boyfriend is there. At first I didn't know that he would be back here.” Leah mumbled, and nodded at Johnny to take her child to the car. Leah strolled outside, which made Jane and Mrs. Fontaine followed her.
They were all confused, and didn't know what they should do next. Leah was different than the first Leah that they met, and it looked like something terrible had happened between Leo and Leah.
“Leah… What is happening? Did you ask Leo if you would take your child away?” Jane didn't want to take Adam and Allen because they were Leo's sons.
Leah chuckled and gave Jane a cold gaze. She stopped before she said, “These two boys are my sons. I don't understand why I needed to ask Mr. Fontaine if it's fine if I take them out here to this house. I have the right to take them away here.”
Jane blinked her eyes. She felt irritated about how Leah talked with her. Her hands turned into a fist, but she remembered that Leah had amnesia and Leah didn't know who she was.
“Is it rude that you would take them away without even notifying him? Leah, my cousin, help you.” Jane bit her lips when Leah scoffed and smiled at her. Leah was trying to test her patience, and she didn't like to fight with her. Jane missed the sweet Blossom that she had been working with.
“Is it rude that he sleeps with me even though he's married? I don't like to be known as his mistress.” Leah tried to calm down, and when Jane heard what she was telling, Jane's expression softened.
Jane realized why Leah was mad. She gnashed her teeth because it looked like Leo had come out of the country to make that plan. Leo couldn't wait for Leah to get back her memories, so he slept with her to trigger her.
“Oh, I think you already know the answer. I'm sorry if I needed to get my children.” Leah mumbled because she felt guilty that she was treating Jane badly. She didn't know if Jane was close to her or not, but everything was blank. She had a lot of questions in her mind, and she hoped that someone would help her to find out everything.
But Johnny warned her not to push herself to get her memories back. There were some instances when she would lose her memories permanently, and she didn't like to lose them.
Leah wanted to ask if Jane knew her but she was afraid that Jane would lie to her. Leah sighed, and decided to leave when Jane was dumbfounded because of what Leah had said to Jane.
While Leo was walking inside the hospital, he bought Blossom's favorite roses to ask Leah's forgiveness. Although Leo didn't know what the sudden change to Leah was, he still didn't want her to get mad at him.
Because of the accident, Leo didn't bond with Blossom for three years, and he wanted to make Leah see that he was madly in love with her. Leo would tell Leah the truth if it was needed.
Leo stopped and took his phone. He saw that it was his mother, so he answered the phone call. Leo frowned when he heard the loud noises coming from the Fontaine house.
“Leo, Leah is here. She came here to get Adam and Allen.. Oh! My grandsons. Leo, do something quick! Do you want me to die?” Leo's mother exclaimed, and Leo couldn't believe that Leah had been out of the country without notifying him.
Leo sighed as he massaged his temple. “What are you talking about? Leah is here.”
If Leah left, his bodyguards that were assigned would tell him without wasting time. Leo was afraid if Leah took the kids, then what was the reason why she got the kids from their house?
“Leah looked angry. She even brought her boyfriend here. I can't believe this! It looked like they were planning to leave together. Leo, why did you marry Erin? Everything is a mess now!”
Leo felt furious when his mother mentioned that Leah was with her boyfriend. How could Leah bring her boyfriend to the Fontaine Mansion?
Leo asked his secretary to book a plane very fast, and went to the airport. He almost ran even though he knew that he couldn't reach Leah at the Fontaine house.
“Leah, you are crazy! I can't believe this!” Johnny gripped the steering wheel, and watched how Allen didn't stop crying. Allen was too close to Leo's mother while Adam watched them blankly.
“Yeah, I'm crazy because I feel betrayed!” Leah exclaimed, and took her phone to shut it down. Leah knew that Leo would call her because his mother might have informed her about what had happened.
“Leah, don't do anything reckless. Leo isn't your—”
“I don't want you to continue what you are going to say! I want to hear something!” Leah was afraid that she would get hurt if Johnny said what she would say. She looked away when Johnny arched his brow at her.
“You conclude everything. This happens when you find out that Leo was cheating on you.”
“But he cheated on me. And now he makes me feel that I'm his mistress!”
“Leah, listen to me first!”
“I don't want to hear what you are going to say! I'm sorry!” Leah was stubborn, and crossed her arms as if she was telling Johnny that if Johnny had told her the truth, she would have been mad at him.
Johnny gulped but chose not to say anything because he didn't want Leah to get mad at him. Leah was different than the sweet Blossom that he had known. Johnny felt bad for Leo, but he couldn't say anything to Leah now.
When Leo left the plane, he stopped walking when he saw Erin, who was waiting for him. Erin was wearing her exclusive clothes as if she was an artist. Those people in the airport couldn't stop themselves from looking at her.
Leo's facade turned cold. He forgot that Erin was trying to reach him, but he didn't give her a chance.
“Honey! I'm glad that you are back!” Erin exclaimed and rushed forward at Leo. Erin jumped with happiness and crashed her lips into Leo's mouth.
Leo didn't know that Erin hired some photographers so that they would be in the headlines tomorrow. Erin smiled widely and kissed Leo aggressively.
“I miss you!” Erin mumbled, and Leo closed his eyes to stop himself from pushing Erin away from him.
“Erin, what are you doing?” Leo couldn't stop himself from asking Erin and slowly pushed her away. He sighed.
“Is it wrong that I missed my husband? Leo, I'm your wife, but why are you treating me as if I'm your fan?” Erin embraced Leo again and closed her eyes. She told the photographers to take a shot that they might look like they were in love with each other.
“How did you know that I would be back here?” Leo inquired, and Leo pushed Erin again. Leo started walking, and Erin followed him.
How could he go to Leah if Erin was like a stalker to him? He didn't like Erin to know that Blossom was alive, and he was so close to her, especially when they discovered that it was Erin and Amelia who planned everything.
Leo would do anything to protect Leah, especially since Adam and Allen existed. If Erin found out that Adam and Allen were his children, Erin would do anything to kill his children or take the children away from Leah.
“Leo, are you mad because I decided to come here without even telling you? I wanted to surprise you because I wanted you to see my efforts. Aside from that, I'm the owner of my daddy's company now. Dad is in a coma.” Hearing what Erin had told him, Leo turned around when he heard what had happened to Robert.
Robert was in a coma, but how? Leo was sure that Robert was healthy and didn't have any addictions. Robert was too conscious of the food that he would eat.
“What happened to Robert? Why didn't I even know what happened to him?” Hearing that Leo was focused on her smile, and worried about Robert made Erin smile.
“I found out that my father's health isn't good, and the doctor told us that there's a big chance that he will die soon,” Erin replied, and looked at Leo with sadness on her face. She hugged Leo tightly and started sobbing.
Leo was stunned. He was sure Erin and Amelia had been doing nasty things behind Robert's back.
