“Where is Leo?” Erin asked Leo's secretary, and her face paled when she didn't see Leo around. Erin's lips trembled, and her pupils almost rolled in anger because of Leo.
“He is on his way here,” the secretary answered, relieving Erin. Erin's face enlightened, and there was a hidden smile on her lips. She was excited about doing everything in her plans tonight. Erin giggled when Amelia got worried.
“Erin, where is Leo? It's better if he is with you while you are talking with the future investors of the company!” Amelia exclaimed. There was an anxiety plastered on her face which made Erin smile widely for Amelia.
“He's on his way, Mom. I think Leo prepared everything since this is our time to shine to get some investors.” Erin grinned, which made Amelia slowly feel that Leo finally did something nice to Erin.
While they were having a conversation, a man came to the scene, and he had large flowers for Erin. The crowd was stunned because they all knew how expensive the roses were. They were black roses, and the man came to Erin.
“Congratulations!” The man yelled, and Erin knew that it was a delivery guy. Erin accepted the rose, and her mouth hung open when she saw the mask inside the box. Erin couldn't stop herself from smiling widely even more.
“Oh! It looked like Mr. Fontaine was so sweet!”
“It's from an expensive brand, huh? Congratulations to you, Erin.”
“Leopold Fontaine is such a man with a lot of ways to please his woman."
Erin was speechless when she heard other comments. Amelia thought that it was from Leo, so she said, “Yeah! Leo is embarrassed that he is late to the party. He didn't want my daughter to get mad at him.”
Erin didn't comment because she thought that it was better than the crowd knew that it was from Leo. Erin checked the small letter that had been written, and seeing how gorgeous the handwriting was made, Erin wished that the man was with her. She looked around and even looked at the highest floor. She was stunned when she saw the man with a mask.
Erin felt excited. She was torn because she wanted to have Leo tonight, but she couldn't have a night with Leo. It's better if she sleeps with the man in a mask.
“Oh! I'm so happy for you, Erin."
Because of happiness, Erin didn't even notice that Leo was two hours late. When Leo came, she thought that Leo was talking with some investors before he came to her.
“Leo!" Erin was very pleased when she finally saw Leo. She rushed towards Leo and grabbed his hand. Erin hugged Leo tightly, which made the other women jealous because of her. Erin acted innocent and gave those women a pure smile. Since Blossom died, she thought she could act like she was supposed to.
"Congratulations..." Leo simply greeted Erin and simply tapped her back as if she was a known friend. But Erin didn't mind; Leo tried to come to the party. That's what was essential to Erin for now.
"I'm sorry that I'm late in coming here. I had some important matters to do." Leo explained, which made Erin force herself to smile even more. Erin was not stupid to know what Leo had mentioned. She felt that something inside her was about to explode. She still couldn't get over it when she discovered that Leo had been sleeping with another woman instead of her.
Erin calmed herself because she didn't need to be angry just because a woman came down down to the scene. If it were Blossom, maybe she would do anything to kill her.
"It's fine, darling. I know how busy you are.", Erin replied in a sweet tone, and made the others see how Erin was loved by Leo. Erin clung her arms to Leo.
Erin smiled sweetly while she pulled Leo into the crowd. Erin felt that she had finally got the spotlight, and thought everything would be fine.
The waiter went to Leo, which made Erin smile when she saw that it was the waiter that she paid for. Erin was smiling when she took the wine, and saw that Leo took his drink.
Leo still was not drinking it, but Erin was confident that Leo would drink it anyway. Erin didn't want Leo to provoke him from drinking his wine because he didn't want to doubt her.
“You two are such a lovely couple! I can't believe this!”
“Yeah! I agree with you.” A lot of actresses and actors wanted to say more sweet words to Erin and Leo. But the truth was they were all astounded by the sudden news that Robert had died quickly. They thought that something bad happened to him which led Erin to get the company even though Robert had a legitimate wife.
“Dad, are you okay?” Sophia asked Robert, who was looking at the surveillance camera of their company. Robert clenched his hands in so much anger. He couldn't believe Amelia and Erin didn't even think of postponing the event.
“I'm ashamed because I did something horrible, and I trusted them.” Robert was heartbroken. He was hoping that he could expose himself. Because of Amelia and Erin's greediness, they all didn't even think if his death was legit.
“I understand your madness, dad. Trust me on this one. I will tell you to go out when everything is fine.” Sophia mumbled, and glanced at the door when someone knocked. Sophia opened the door and saw Johnny with Leah.
Robert was surprised when he saw Leo's wife. He couldn't believe that she was still alive.
“Sophia… I thought I was not going to see you tonight.” Leah uttered and hugged Sophia tightly.
“She's Leah Thompson. She didn't know everything because she had amnesia.” Sophia informed Robert, which made Robert nod at her. Robert couldn't remove his sight from Leah, who was innocently looking at him.
“Is he your father? Hi, sir!” Leah smiled, which made Robert feel pity for her. It was true that Blossom had amnesia, and seeing how Leah smiled at him made him feel guilty.
“Did he know me in the past? Based on how he reacted to me, I think he already knew me when I didn't have memory loss.” Leah couldn't stop herself from asking Sophia.
“My dad knew you as Mrs. Fontaine. You already know that Erin is my stepsister l, right?” Sophia inquired, which made Leah nod her head in response.
“It's nice to meet you, sir.” Leah bowed her head, which made Robert widen his eyes in disbelief.
“Does Leopold Fontaine already know about her?" Robert couldn't stop asking, since he wanted to know what Leo might do once he discovered his wife was alive.
Sophia didn't answer Robert's question because she thought it was unnecessary. She looked at Leah, who was talking with Johnny.
Sophia made sure that Leah would know about what might happen in their plan. She doesn't want Leah to get in an accident again and fail.
“Adam, Allen!” Leah rushed outside the car when she saw her sons with Leo. Her eyes expanded and she was about to get Adam and Allen when Leo moved and did not successfully get them.
“Mr. Fontaine, what are you doing? They are my sons!” Leah gritted her teeth, as she liked that she didn't know that her children were Leo's sons. Leo gave her a piercing glare, and didn't say anything when he put back the children.
Adam had a scowl in his face. He didn't like to be with Leo after he found out that Leo had married his mistress.
“Mom!” Adam rushed to Leah, which made Leah hug her while Allen was chuckling with Leo.
“Allen, what are you doing? He might buy you toys, but it doesn't mean that he loves you! Wake up!” Adam looked mad, which Allen was surprised because he knew how patient Adam was. Allen looked at Adam and Leo before he pouted.
“Brother, it's not right that you are treating this man like trash! Did you even think that you both looked like each other? No— I look like this man too. I heard in the Fontaine mansion that he is our father!” Allen exclaimed, which made Leah frown.
Leah couldn't believe that Allen knew everything and gave Leo a look full of anger. Sophia told her that they needed to get rid of Amelia and Erin first so they would make sure that the kids were safe.
“Allen, come here!” Leah was frustrated, which made Leo stand up, and come close to Allen.
Leo held Allen's head and had concern on his face. Leo felt anxiety when he saw how Leah reacted. Why is Leah not happy that he was the father of her children? Does Leab think that she could be with Johnny after she was done with him?
Jealousy rose towards Leo, which made Leo want to grab Leah, and made her remember who owned her. He was the one who had the right to be with Leah because he was her husband.
“Mom, I heard Grandma saying those words. He's my father. And that is why we both looked like him. Did you see how handsome we are? Mom!” Allen wanted to throw a tantrum when Adam pulled him away from Leo.
Leo was bewildered when Adam started to be more violent with his brother. Leo was about to come close to Adam, but Adam stepped away. Adam gave him a sneer.
“Our father isn't married to another woman. Allen, are you using your mind?” Adam burst out, which made Allen stunned. Allen glimpsed at Leao as if he was waiting for Leo to explain everything.
”You are such a liar, Adam. Did you think that I would easily believe what you said to me?” Allen began crying and ran to Leah. He hugged Leah so tightly, while Adam blinked his eyes when he saw how Allen acted like a child.
“Mom, I don't want to see this man here. He's not welcome here anyway.” Adam gave Leo a murderous glare before he left. Allen stopped hugging Leah, and turned around to see Leo.
“You are married. You break my heart. I thought we were going to be a complete family!” Allen left, and followed his older brother.
It was only Leah and Leo outside. They were looking at each other intensely, and Leah almost wanted to ask Leo to leave.
“I can't believe that I'm hearing this. Why did your mom act like they were her grandsons? Leo, I know that you lost your twins, but it doesn't mean that my sons are yours. Why don't you ask your wife to carry your child?” Leah was agitated and was about to turn around when Leo grabbed her hand.
“Leah, you don't know what you're asking for. Yeah, I'm married to you! I'm their father!” Leo didn't have a choice but to tell Leah the truth. He might be cold, but he couldn't stop fearing that Leah would run away.
Leo knew that if Johnny wanted to hide Leah, Leo wouldn't find Leah, whatever he might do or pay for the investigator.
“You are a liar. Leo, are you telling me this because you want to fuck with me again? This is not funny, and I don't want to hear this again!” Leah tried to pull her hands in Leo's clasp, but Leo was too determined to explain his hand.
“I let you use my body wherever you want. You can act as my husband to spread my legs. I'm willing to do those things for you!” Leah clenched her teeth and tried to push Leo away from her, but dragged her closer to his chest.
“Don't do that, Leah. I'm willing to tell you everything.” Leo's tone cracked, and when Leah heard it, her eyes moistened.
“Divorce your wife, then. I'm willing to hear your side if you do that for me.” Leah rebutted and gasped as her tears fell from her eyes.
