Leo didn't know what he was going to say because he genuinely wanted to separate from Erin. Aside from that, he didn't need to divorce Erin because it was Jane who managed everything so he could have his faked wedding. However, even though their wedding was manufactured from the very beginning, it doesn't mean that Leo could drive Erin away from him.
What Leo had been thinking was if he wasn't near to Erin, he wouldn't even know what Erin might be planning against his family. That was the reason why he wanted Leah to stay in their mansion first, to make sure that his sons and wife were all safe.
“I...I can't.” Leo answered, which made Leah widen her eyes in disbelief. Leah closed her eyes when she felt a pang in her chest, and she was too hurt to admit that Leo's answers made her want to slap her face.
”Leah, I love you... I think you already know about it. Allen is telling you the truth. You are my Blossom, you were my wife before I married Erin. I think it's not the right time to be with you all for now." Leo wanted to explain even more, but when he saw how painful Leah looked at him. He couldnt stop himself from swallowing.
“Leopold Fontaine, you are such a heartless person. I can't believe that you dare to reject what I wanted you to do.” Leah slammed Leo's chest, and there was an anxiety in her heart. Does Leo fall in love with Erin? That was the only reason that Leah thought why Leo didn't want to divorce Erin.
”Leah, I wanted to tell you everything but I couldn't. It would help if you didn't force yourself to know everything. This might affect your brain.”
“Shut up! Did you think that I would believe you? Did you think that I'm stupid?”
“No, I do not think that you are. Why are you mad at me? You don't know the reason why I'm doing this.” Leo tried to hug Leah, but Leah didn't want to get her embraced. What Leah had been thinking was her pain. Leo didn't love her anymore, and it made her get her revenge on her more.
She was the legal wife, but why did she need to act like a mistress? She hated being mistress, and she didn't like to feel that someone was more important than her. She hated to feel that she was one of the options even though she wanted to say that she was the only option available.
“I don't want to see you again. If you dare to come here, I will make sure that you will not see my sons here.” Leah pushed Leo, and she was sobbing. That time, Adam was worried about her, and went to them.
When Adam saw his mother crying, he couldnt stop himself from getting even more mad at Leo. Adam ran as fast as he could while Allen was following him.
”You make my mom cry! You are evil!” Adam started punching Leo's legs, while Allen did the same. All they thought about was protecting their mother against Leo.
When Leo saw what his sons were trying to do with him, he couldn't stop from feeling terrible because of the sadness that he felt.
“Yeah! Get out of here." Allen yelled, and resumed crying while he was on the ground. Allen was hurt, and he didn't know what he should do anymore.
Allen was blaming himself for making Leo go to their house. If he hadn't done it, maybe his mother would not have cried.
Leo looked away and left, which made Allen's mood turn worse. He felt that he had abandoned him, and Adam. He watched how Leo left the house in tears.
Leo didn't know what she would do next. She didn't like that her sons would act like that when it came to their father. She took Allen, and pulled Adam inside the house. She comforted them, and decided to tell them the truth.
“Mom, daddy doesn't like us anymore!” Allen couldn't stop himself from grieving because of Leo. Adam crossed his arms and started repeating what Allen had been saying. He loved mocking Allen because he always acted like a baby.
“Adam! Why are you doing this to me?” Allen was full of disbelief when he angrily snapped at Adam in so much anger. Adam pouted and looked at his mother, who always told him not to fight with Allen.
“Mom, did you see how your son acting like a child?” Adam was trying to tease Allen, which made Allen scowl at him.
“Adam, stop it. I want to talk to the two of you because I wanted you all to know about what happened between me and your father.” Leah mumbled, and smiled at the two boys in front of him.
The two boys were so attentive to what Leah was about to say. They all wanted to know why their father married another woman, rather than their pretty mother.
After Leah told everything to the boys, Adam couldn't stop himself from feeling sad because he remembered how he treated Leo when he saw him.
Allen smiled widely, and arched his brow at his twin. He knew what his twin might be thinking, and seeing how guilty Adam was, wanted Allen to tease him to get his revenge.
“Oh, I feel sad because Adam acted strangely to dad. Maybe he didn't like Adam anymore.” Allen winked at Adam, which made Adam feel infuriated because, for him, the joke wasn't too funny.
“Your father loves you two. He will be back. Don't worry.. I'm sorry if I didn't tell you, Adam, about this because I didn't even know about it at first. It was Auntie Sophia who told me everything.” Leah muttered, and Adam tried to nod his head even though he didn't know what he would do anymore.
He wanted to apologize to Leo, and he didn't want his father to push him away like what he had done to him. But what would happen if Leo didn't accept him anymore?
Thinking that his father didn't want him anymore made Adam gulp in fear. He stood up when he heard how Allen was trying to make fun of him.
“Oh, Adam, dad doesn't like you anymore. I cant believe that the smart Adam Thompson isn't too smart at all.” Allen had a lot of bullying in his sleeves. He was happy that he finally had the chance to talk with Adam as long as he wanted .
”Shut up! You are such a crying baby!” Adam gritted his teeth, and sneered before he turned around. Allen was astounded when he saw how Adam angrily ran to their bed. He gulped.
“Allen.. Is it correct that you are trying to play with the emotions of your brother? Did you know that your brother did those things because he thought that your father hurt me? Say sorry for your brother, it's appropriate that you're trying to make fun of him.” Leah hugged Allen tightly, and told Allen that she would follow Adam into the room.
Allen bit his lips because he was guilty that he had talked with Adam like that way. He always wanted to get even with Adam, and now that Adam was acting like a child made Allen didn't want to see how Adak would react to their father.
When Leah went inside Adam and Allen's room, Leah hugged Adam tightly, and kissed him on his forehead.
“Mom, did you think that dad didn't like me anymore? Did you think that Allen is right?” Adam wanted to hide the fear from his voice but he failed. He didn't want Leo not to accept him as his child.
“What are you talking about? Adam, your father loves you so much. I hope that you can talk to him after this. Sadly, we wanted to be safe, and that's why we needed to do that. Your father didn't know that I know everything now.”
“But, do you remember everything now? Mom, I want to know what happened then, but I'm only a young boy.”
“I still can't remember anything now, Adam. I wish I couldn't tell you everything that you wanted to know. I still had amnesia, and my memories aren't back yet.”
“Mom, I want to be with dad. I'm such a bad kid.” Adam slowly cried, which made Leah stunned.
Leah moved closer to Adam and held his face. Leah felt that something inside her was about to break, and she needed to do something to make Adam happy.
“I will tell Leo that you are sorry for what you did. I know he loves you, and maybe he is heartbroken that you two pushed them away.” Leah uttered and played with Adam's hair.
When Allen was about to go inside their room, he stopped when he heard how Adam cried in so much pain. He wanted to tell Adam that he was joking, but he knew that Adam wouldn't believe in him anymore.
“Erin, where are you doing?” Amelia asked Erin when she saw how Erin drank a lot of liquor. After the party, Leo didn't even taste the wine like she had planned, and she was frustrated because she wanted to be the real wife of the Fontaine.
How could she be the legal Wife if she didn't bear Leo's child?
“Stop drinking. You can always have your chances as long as Leo is with you.” Amelia tried to comfort her daughter but Erin didn't feel comforted because of what she was doing. Erin felt that her feelings weren't validated, and she wanted to throw away a lot of things.
Her phone vibrated, and she saw the message from her private investigator.
‘The woman named Leah Thompson. She's Leopold Fontaine's secretary.’
Erin gripped her phone and realized why Jane didn't want her to go to Fontaine's company. It was because Leo's mistress was working with Leo! Erin threw the liquor that she could hold on to. She was so mad that she wanted to punch someone.
She wanted to know whoever Leah was. She wanted to know why Leo chose Leah over her. As the highest-paid model, and the known CEO now, Erin fel that Leo was wrong. She already has whatever the men want for their woman. She was beautiful and had a gorgeous body. Erin didn't want to be insecure because there was a woman she was insecure about---It was Blossom!
It was Blossom who constantly competed with her in small things. Blossom always made her feel she didn't do her enough to get whatever she wanted. Erin still remembered how Blossom constantly degraded her. It was her presence that she didn't like. Even though Brea always told her Blossom was good, Erin didn't like it whenever Brea complimented her.
Bossom was the woman that everyone surrounded by her--liked her! But she was different because the more agitated Erin was whenever Blossom shined. When she found out that Blossom had feelings for Leo then, she decided she would be close to Leo. She even used the woman that Leo had trusted to make Leo trust her, too.
It was too challenging to get Leo's trust, but when the woman died because of him, Leo didn't have a choice but to always be with her because of the guilt that he felt at that time. Leo always blamed himself for her death, and she took advantage of it. Leo did everything to help her because of that woman.
Erin closed her eyes about how everything happened too fast, especially when Leo told her he was about to marry Blossom. It was Erin that he had talked with that time.
FLASHBACK
Erin was with Leo, and they did the dinner like they were always supposed to. Leo was not in the mood, and a scowl on his face made Ein feel even more pleased. She liked it when Leo acted mad because she always felt turned on.
