Chapter Betrayed by love

Robin leans close to my face, his eyes flickered down to my lips again. “So, what would it be?” I could see the smiles on his lips so I closed my eyes waiting for the touch of his lips that was already close to mine as my lips moved up to meet his.

“Get dressed.” I heard and my eyes flickered open to see Robin holding up my sports clothes and I bit down my lips in embarrassment. What was I thinking right now, would he kiss me? I was wrong.

I grabbed my clothes from his hand when I saw the smirk on his face. I could tell he was fully away from what he had just done. I wanted to curse on him but I had to hold it back.

“Get dressed and be out in ten minutes.” He flashed me a mocking smile before leaving my room.

Asshole!

I exhaled sharply as I turned to look in my mirror. Surely my heart is getting so corrupt. Robin was right, I shouldn’t watch movies too much. It is affecting my thinking. Just someone told me that when a guy is so close it means he wants to kiss.

I hit my hand on my head to push my stupid brain before walking into the bathroom for a quick wash.

“Faster.” I heard Robin call out to me since I was behind him while we jog. Honestly, I was still feeling sleepy and what's more, the weather was cold and fit for more sleep, but here I am jogging rather than curling up on my warm cosy bed.

I frowned at him as I heard him repeat faster. “Jogging is meant to be slow.” I glared at him. “I am also exhausted, can't we stop now?" I put on a puppy dog face but it seems Robin had turned cold overnight.

"Faster!" He shouted as he ran back to where I was sluggishly jogging. "You should keep up, you still have two lapses to do before you stop."

"What?" I looked in the direction he was pointing and then turned to him. "Dear Robin, I am not a racer, neither am I training for a competition or the national…"

"This is worth more than that, you have to burn up some fat." He shut me up before I finished my sentence and I looked down at my body.

Could it be that Robin’s eyes are affected?

I looked up at him. "What fat are you talking about?" I almost gritted my teeth at him. "I am not fat at all!" I stretched the words to make it clear to him but to my surprise, Robin stopped me and lifted me. "What are you doing?"

His hand was holding my waist and I was up as I looked down at his face with wide eyes. "Let me down!" I got his hands and he left me as I crashed to the ground hitting my butt on the floor. "Ouch!" I whined.

"Hey! Why did you let me down?!" I looked up at him still on the floor with my sore butt.

"You told me to." Robin came over to help me but I hit his hand away and got up to my feet.

"You are really despicable!" I dust off my butt. "Why did you lift me in the first place?!" I scowled at him.

"Was trying to show you how the dance move in act IV would be like and that you could crash on whoever would lift you if you still weigh what you weigh, not only that, you would ruin the whole show and probably not fulfil your dream to be on stage since you will be terminated," Robin said all these in one breath and I put my hand on my waist in anger.

"You are just all talks aren't you!" I furrowed my brows. "How would you know this move would be made in act IV? You are not the director and whereas act IV has not been introduced to us yet." I arched my brows. "Are you playing with me right now?"

I could see Robin blink and look away from my face, he touched the corner of his nose and I was about to scoff when he looked at me seriously.

"I just know since the director knows me well, perhaps you haven't noticed it, Director Donald admires me so he may have given me the tips, you wouldn't know, so count yourself lucky for having someone to share this with you, now continue jogging…"

"Continue jogging my butt." I arched my brows and he paused his lips. "When did the word 'may' mean he told you about it and why would the director share something so important to you, you are not one of the teachers, neither are you a professor, you are not even in the dancing group so why would he tell you about it?" I raised my chin at him, right now I was acting like a stubborn kid.

"You talk too much." Robin sighed as he held my hands and whirled me around making my back face his front and then he gave me a light push. "Start jogging and don't look back." He warmed me. "Now!"

I bite down my lips, I wonder where my argument goddess is. Right now I felt like a pushover, but I can't disobey now. He was winning but I know I will win soon, so I started jogging while I cursed him under my breath.

I knew he was trying to help me right now, but to me it was torture, I will have to lock my room door tomorrow while I sleep, that way he wouldn't be able to push it open.

You are all dreams, Ivana, what if he bangs on the door like this morning, you wouldn't sleep with all that noise, would you?

My inner goddess spit on my face and I growled at it.

I was going to find a way not to do this, perhaps I will sleep in the attic or beg Mrs Jane to let me sleep with her.

"Ivana, keep up," Robin shouted since he had gotten ahead of me again and I exhaled sharply.

If this was what he wanted then I would show him what real running was. I fastened my speed and got ahead of him.

"That's great." I held him call out and I scorned but kept ahead.

"Robin, I am exhausted." I stopped running almost out of breath as I turned to look at him but he wasn't next to me.

I scoffed. "Why are you so slow…" I was saying when I looked back and saw Robin standing with wide eyes as he looked at a girl who was blocking his path.

I turned to get a better look at them, I couldn’t see her face since she was backing me, but the look on Robin’s face was that of a familiar gaze and not only that, he looked so shocked to see this lady.

The girl was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt, she also wore black high heels and her hair was nicely trimmed and let down behind her back. She was holding a black designer's bag and was looking so elegant.

Since her skin was white, I didn’t think she was from here.

"Ava…" Robin’s lips moved. I blinked, looking at her back. She doesn’t look like the Ava who teaches up choreography, this one was younger and different.

"I miss you." I heard the lady say in a small sweet voice and my eyes dilated as she wrapped her hand around Robin’s neck in a hug.

I staggered back as I could see how intimately she hugged him and what more, Robin did not push her away, his face looks like he was glad to be hugged, but still, there was some indescribable emotion on his face.

"I miss you so much Robin Heisten." The girl said again and I saw Robin close his eyes and then it drew to me that I was still that peeping tom.

My heart felt crushed and just like the movies I watched, I felt like the real owner of Robin’s heart was here, I felt like I was the mistress and the wife was back, I didn’t want to watch this but I couldn’t turn away, and then I felt a tear rolled down my cheek.

I felt betrayed. Robin lied to me, he lied that there was no lady, but then, who is this?
