"Jr," the woman said to him with a smile.
I couldn't wait for them to talk in front of us so I went in first to leave them.
"Mia!" I heard Jr. shout but I ignored him.
"Jr.," the woman called to him.
"You're not allowed to in, you're trespassing." Janel's voice. I just kept going upstairs and ignoring them.
"Mia." I didn't notice that Jr. followed me.
"Why are you here? Talk to your intrepid ex. ”
"We have to talk first." I frowned at what he said.
“Have you been? Is it true what she said you became while you were in a relationship with Ade?" He did not answer my question. "Answer!"
"We were young then, it was just because of the arrogance of a teenager but I just didn't care."
"Did you love her?"
"No, maybe I liked her but I didn't love her as much as I love you and Ade."
"She's here to get you back." It's like I'm going to cry, just now it's sinking into my brain that there's a villain in our relationship. "Why didn't you tell me about her."
“Because she's not important, Mia. I flirted with her but she did not answer me. To show her that she is not a loss, I flirted with Ade who I didn't know that she liked me for a long time. I love Ade but ----” He sighed first.
"Tell me, Jr., tell me everything now than that woman I still know your past and I will lose trust in you."
"Amanda and I became unintentionally while Ade and I were still together."
"What?"
“I cheated on Ade while we were still together. I can't part with Amanda because ------ something happened to us when we were drunk. So she used that as blackmail to tell Ade about us. I don't want to lose Ade because I love her so much that even though it hurts, I gave in to my wrong relationship with Amanda.”
“Did you do that to her? You did that to Ade?”
"Because I love her and I'm scared of Amanda's threat."
"How did that woman's relationship end."
"I ended during Ade's death, so she goes to another country."
I felt pity for Ade. Jr. cheated on her, she died thinking she was really the only one in her life. But there is another and it's her own sister. Nor is it vague that Jr. will do to me what he did to Ade.
“Mia, back then, we were young and I promise never to repeat that mistake. I love you and I will not hurt you.”
I was relieved by what Jr. said. But not with that woman because I saw her before, she looks really eager to get Jr from me. One more thing I just thought, what if Ade didn’t die? Does it mean that the person she loves and her brother will fool her for the rest of his life?
I don’t know, but this time it's TRUST that matters.
I won't force Jr. if he doesn't want me anymore. Just don't let that woman try me and I'll present her the Mia who she doesn't want to meet.
I WOKE UP EARLY but no one was home. I looked for Janel but even she wasn’t there. I looked at the clock and noticed that it was eleven o'clock at noon. I seem to have had a good sleep. But where are they?
I grabbed a glass in the kitchen when the door suddenly opened. Janel, papa, and mama entered one after the other. I noticed that papa was holding his cheek when he removed it and I saw that it was bruised.
"Pa!" I shouted. "What happened?" I ask. I just saw papa with a bruise on his cheek.
"Don't pay any attention to this," he said with a smile and then went up to the room with mama.
"I'll just go with your father," mama said.
“What happened? Where you come from?” I asked Janel.
"In the barangay hall, papa got into a fight at mang Kanor's shop."
"What?"
“Yes, he said he just stopped Clark because he saw him had a fight. But it turns out that they fought together.
"Tss,"
"But Mia, do you know why Clark got into a fight?" I was surprised by Janel's question. "Because of you and Jr."
"Huh?"
“Clark heard that you were just using Jr. because your ex left you. Then my Jr will leave you too because Ade's sister is already here.”
I look at the door of mama and papa.
"Dad knows?" I ask.
"Yes."
“What did you say? Did they change their mind about Jr. and our relationship?”
“No, but of course, he is affected. He is my father.”
I just gasped because of what Janel told me.
I don't know if Jr. and I have a bad relationship or destiny just really doesn't want to be together, every time we get ok there is always a problem.
I am just thinking it was a test for us so that we could be even more stable.
