Chapter SEVENTY-FIVE

WE ARE in front of the gate of a parked car in front of our house.

"Do you have a visitor?" Jr. asked, I shook my head in response.

Get off the driver and we see Dylan. I looked at Jr. who just shrugged.

"Hi," he greeted us. "You're here too, by the way, congrats in advance." He held out his hand to Jr. which Jr. took.

“Thank you,” Jr. said.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

"Wait a minute." He left and then took something from the back of his car. When he returned, he was carrying two boxes. “I just pass to gift my gift, amp! I'm sorry, there's a problem I need to settle so I need to go travel. So I can't attend the wedding tomorrow.”

I nodded to him and then take the gift.

"'Bro, take of her!" he said to Jr. then tap on him on the shoulder.

"You can count on it," Jr. said with a pat on the shoulder.

“I need to, I'm leaving now and I might get caught on the flight. Congrats, happy for both of you.”

"Wait a minute Mia, 'Bro!" Jr. called Dylan and then approached. Dylan did not continue the ride because he waited for Jr. to come.

I don’t know what they were talking about but even in the dark, I could see Dylan’s frown before looking at me. They continued the conversation and I didn’t know what was going on. Until I saw Jr. give something to Dylan. He just looked at it but eventually, he didn't do anything either, I just saw them shake hands and Jr tapped Dylan on the shoulder.

Jr. returned to me and they both waved at each other before finally leaving.

"What are you talking about?" I can't help but ask.

"Nothing, man talk." I looked at him.

"Fine, you can go now." But instead of leaving Jr. pulled me to the side and hugged me tightly. "Hey."

"Let me hug you first." He just hugged me as his chin rested on my head. "Do you still remember what I taught you?" he asked.

"Which one was pointed out?" I asked, but instead of answering he took my hand and placed it on his face.

"Don't look." I got what he wanted to happen. I held his face with my eyes closed.

While I was doing that, I didn't realize that I was crying and I couldn't understand why. All of Jr. and I's past came back to my mind.

"Do you remember when we first met?" he asked. "You cursed me then and you have even mistaken me for doing bad to Janel." I smiled because of that memory. "But I was really happy then, I secretly smiled because you talked to me."

“And when I saved you, I just wanted to kill that asshole. While you sleep I want to hug and kiss you.”

"When you confessed to me that you love me, I wanted to hug you then and be proud that the woman I love loves me."

“But I was scared, I was scared you might get hurt. But it happened. I hurt you the most.”

"I'm sorry I left you then, I'm sorry I'm not by your side, I'm sorry for all the pain I gave you."

He hugged me even tighter.

“Mia, I want to prove to you that you are the one I love until the end. I would rather die than hurt you and not be with you.”

I opened my eyes and looked at Jr.

"Is there a problem?"

“Nothing, I just want you to know that you are not the first one I loved but you are the last. We do not control our lives, many things can happen in one hour of human life. I want to tell you that until the end you are the one I want to be with.”

"Jr, why are you telling me that?" but he did not answer me. He just kissed me on the forehead and hugged me.

“I know I'm the first man you love, but I may not be the last. But Mia, I want you to know that I love you very much and I will not be an obstacle to everything you can enjoy.”

"Jr," I called his name while letting go of his hug. Here I saw him crying. "Is there a problem?"

"Nothing,"

"There's something you just don't want to say, is it about our wedding?"

"There is no problem with our marriage Mia, no matter what happens I will not let anyone stop us." He held me again and then hugged me very tightly. "No matter what happens I love you so much."
