Aleena’s POV

“I think someone in the dad’s pack wanted dad’s death. I mean, Julia had said that she was going to kill someone I love the most and she got successful in doing that too! Which is kind of weird. I mean, how could she enter the pack without any fight and go directly into dad’s study room, kill him, and then escape from them without coming to anyone’s notice?” I shared my doubt with him.
“Oh, you might not know Julia. She was….”
“I know.”, Stephen said, cutting me in between.
“You know?”
“Hmm.”, he hummed, opening the rob of my gown and opening it wide open. He scanned my figure again.
Damn this man! Just a look from him was enough to turn me on. “The pendant which you’re wearing has a small mic in it.”, he explained when he realized that his ‘HMM’ was not enough.
“WHAT?” I asked in shock, but he didn’t give a damn to my shocked expression and grabbed one of my breasts with one of his hands, pressing it softly.
“Yes, baby!” he mumbled, pulling my gown a little lower from my shoulder until my breasts popped out of it because I hadn’t had wore a bra at night. He again grabbed my nipple in his mouth. ‘So, I know all the conversation that happened between you two in the washroom.’, he added through the mind link. ‘And also the conversation that happened between you two at some random place.’
He answered, giving me pleasure through his mouth.
I lifted my body and grinned, my hips on the bed, enjoying this moment. I wasn’t sure until when I could control myself from giving in to his charm.
‘That conversation reminded me of something.’, he said, and before I would have asked WHAT?
“Aaahhhh!” I cried in pain all of a sudden because he bit me hard. He left my nipples and glared at me with his golden eyes.
“Remove this damn gown quickly if you don’t want me to tear it into parts.”, Thunder growled.
“What… what happened, Thunder?” I asked, not able to understand the reason why he changed in the mood.
“You asked us to increase the security of the pack and protect Daniel when Julia mentioned killing the person whom you love the most.”, he answered, fuming in anger.
“I thought that … I… “I couldn’t bring the right words in my mind to escape from his anger. Immediately something clicked in my mind. “You should be happy with the thought of your mate thinking about your brother’s safety so much, right?” I muttered, not sure whether that would work or not, but there was nothing wrong in trying that.
“Yes! SO MUCH that she spoiled our first date even after knowing that I had increased the pack security. SO MUCH that she spoiled our first date even after sharing the same with Eva. She wanted to run to the pack to ensure the same thing as her own. That was our first official date, and all thanks to you, you were more concerned about someone else than the person with you.”
“I’m sorry.”, I apologized. I agreed with the part that I spoiled our date for Daniel. “How about we go on a date and make things right?” I suggested applying the third rule of apology.
“No. That won’t change the fact that you spoiled our FIRST date. Any other date will be now counted as a second, not first. So, there is nothing you can do to make things right. All you deserve is a punishment. Now, take off your gown and panties because if I would do that, then that would be you will lose a gown as well as matching panties.”
‘He won’t hurt us, will he?’ I asked Leia.
‘Trust me, and I won’t let abuse you. Moreover, trust our mates too. They could be mad at us but not abuse us.’, Leia said.
“Leia, you won’t heal your human for the thing that’s going to happen with her.”, Thunder said, asking her to stay away. I pouted to convince him, but when it didn’t work out, I undressed. It was the second time in the last two hours when I was getting naked in front of him again, and for the first time, it was in the light.
That was a different thing. He would have seen every inch of my body, even in the dark. That was feeling more self-conscious and nervous than the first time.
“Turn around and bend over the bed.”, he said, more like ordered, once I was completely naked.
I shook my head before replying, “I’m not ready for anal sex.”
“Don’t worry. I’m not thinking about that even though I find that idea quite tempting.”, he said and grabbed my waist, making me turn around. “Now bend over the bed and keep your hand against the bedrest.” I was thankful that I had already hidden my mark on the back with foundation because my back was the ugliest part of my body with those scars that MOM had given to me.
“What are you going to do, Thunder?” I asked because I didn’t have much knowledge about doing anything else after bending over and having anal sex. If he wasn’t going to do that, then why was I in this position in the first place?
“I’m going to spank you.”, he said in a low voice. “And I won’t be any easier on you.” I was going to be punished, and for god knows what reason, I was excited about it. “Now, time for your punishment. How many you can handle?” he asked before starting.
“As long as you don’t get tired.”, I replied. “Because I wasn’t going to play the victim. I can stand, and I can deal.
Seconds later, his palm came crashing down onto my right ass cheek.
“Ahhh,” Stinging pain radiated from his hand through my body. He was using his alpha power to hit me. I whimpered in pain, not expecting it to be this hard, but before I could have received it, he repeated the action, this time on my other ass cheek. The sound of my skin being hit echoed throughout the room while his hand kept working in a rhythm.
It was painful, but at the same time, it was thrilling too. Soon, instead of whimpering, I started moaning in pleasure. I couldn’t count the time how long it went on until he finally stopped and laid down on the bed because of tiredness. Even though the room temperature was at its lowest, he was sweating badly. He pulled his t-shirt and tossed it away. Without wasting a second, I followed him and rested my head on his chest.
I wasn’t someone who enjoyed anyone’s sweat, but at the same time, his scent was like a drug to me. He wrapped his hand around my shoulder and kissed my hair.
“You’re the one hell… strong woman.”
“Hmm,” I nuzzled his chest first and then started playing with the hair on his chest.
“You okay?” he asked, squeezing my ass, making me moan.
“I’m.”, After I finished speaking, his lips were on mine, slipping his tongue inside my mouth. I followed his actions, pushing my naked breast against his bare chest, rubbing against one another. In a minute, things got intense between us again. He deepened the kiss while my hand reached near his shorts, and instead of removing them gently, I recalled how he had torn a pair of my lingeries. “Lina, no matter how much Thunder and I want to claim you, right here and right now, I will have to remind you that you were planning something before. Do you want to postpone it or something? Because if your work is important, then this can wait as I’m pretty sure that you share the detail with Noah for a purpose.”
And in no time, a bucket of ice-cold water was dropped on me. I hated to admit it, but he was right.
“Let me bring a short for you.”, I mumbled.
“We can stay for a while like this. And I promise to behave.”, he offered. “And until then, you can share your plan with me.”
I sighed, nodding my head.
“I will be leaving for dad’s pack after half an hour or so. I have told Noah, and through him, everyone will think that we will be arriving there at eight in the morning, but there will be a little twist in the story when they find me before that time. I’m not sure, but there’s a high chance that 10% of pack members who are not in anyone’s favor or supporting someone else will attack us because Villians always look for this type of opportunity to use their weapon. But little did they know, this time they are dealing with the villain this time.”
“And why are you suspecting that 10%? Even those 90% of pack members can plan something against you.”
“No. They won’t.”, I replied, shaking my head. “Because those who are choosing Eva as new Alpha were surely loyal to dad. But for those who are not, I doubt that they were even loyal to dad.”, I said, gritting my teeth. I already planned to kill all those pack members because, for a while, I could forgive someone who wouldn’t stay loyal to me, but anyone who was not loyal even at the time of dad wouldn’t be forgiven.
“Do you have any idea who can be behind everything? I mean, anyone who had some rivalry with dad before his death?
“Yes! There was always one, who wanted to merge his pack with dad’s because dad didn’t have any son as an heir, but dad kept refusing his offer even though he was in dad’s relation. And also, dad’s pack is surrounded by our pack border from the three sides and is surrounded by his pack from the fourth side.”
“Whom you are talking about? The silver moon pack shared border with Fire Cross Pack except our, but I don’t get it how it is in the dad’s relation.”
“Alpha Jake Thompson is the brother of Eva’s mother, uncle of Eva. Alpha Jake is known for its cruelty and being a heartless alpha. He is also the one because Eva’s real dad, Orpheus, lost his Lycan because of the torture.”
“Hold on! The same Alpha Jake Thompson, who is the father of Alpha Liam Thompson, your ex-mate?” he asked to which I nodded my head. “Even his son is no good.”, he mumbled, making faces. I didn’t know he was my first cousin of Eva. I wish he would have been your cousin too.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah! In that way, I wouldn’t have to boil my blood because of jealousy.”, he grumbled. “Now, if we dot all the points, then there is a chance that he would stand a chance to apply for the new Alpha position because he is a close relative of dad, and unfortunately, dad didn’t get a chance to leave the name of the successor after him.”
“Exactly.”, I pointed out. “And the reason behind him involving in all this shit will be three things:
One acquires dad’s pack, which he or his father can never think up of if dad would have been alive.
Two, harming Eva because she’s the easy target plus, she is a hybrid and carrying another tiny little hybrid in her womb.”
Stephen growled loudly at hearing this, “He might be in the mood of signing the death wish with the thought of harming the Luna and the future heir of the Stone Moon pack.”
“And three, getting back his fated mate, whom he rejected without knowing that she was an Alpha female.”
Stephen growled a lot louder than before. He looked deadly this time, “I swear, Lina if he hurt you even a little, we will eat his heart as our food.”
“Don’t worry. I will be careful. Now, you sleep peacefully. I’m leaving to make necessary arrangements.”, I said, trying to push him away from me, but he didn’t move an inch. “I have to leave, Stephen. Let go of me.”
Finally, he moved from the top of me. But instead of sleeping in bed, he left the bed and walked toward the wardrobe.
“I would have given you your shorts.”, I muttered, following him to wear my favorite black clothes before leaving. While I grabbed the clothes that I had to wear and found him doing something with the key, I didn’t disturb him and waited to see what exactly was going on. Once I was done with the clothes, I saw him opening a lock of a secret locker in the wardrobe. I didn’t know there was any. I peeked to see what was there and found the weapons that I had packed into my bags on the date night. I didn’t see my bags here, then how come all these arrive here on their own.
And to my surprise, It also had both my daggers. If both my daggers were here, then…. Whose daggers were the ones with whom dad was killed?
“I think you might need them.”, he said, pointing toward them.
“How all these things are here?” I asked without picking anything and focused on tying my hair.
“Didn’t you hear my words in your trial?” he asked, on which I stuck out my tongue in response.”
“I wasn’t fully present there.”
“Remember when I mentioned about checking your bags which you completely denied.”, He said, to which I nodded my head. “I had asked Dad to do the same when I took you on the date, and I also asked him to hand over all your weapons to Wade, who reached there once we left.”
“I can’t believe you that you double-crossed me.”, I muttered, looking at him in disbelief. I meant he also convinced me for the date and then also got my bags checked. “And what about my daggers?”
“Your daggers are here. That’s all I know. I have no idea how the third hell dagger came into the picture on its own or say, there are a lot of people who are too good in copying the exact replica of the original one.”
“That’s impossible. Witch Circe’s art of word is damn too extraordinary. She had prepared just two of them for me on my special demand. And since she had drank that holy water, I’m positive about the part that she didn’t prepare the third one for anyone ever.”
“But at the same time, she also mentioned, ‘the blade of the dagger is always laced with never-ending wolfsbane and Vervain’s position, made to kill both werewolves and the vampires. In fact, Aleena loved this dagger so much that she asked me to prepare two daggers in the same design’. Do you love the design so much? Did it mean that she had shown the picture or design of the dagger before preparing it?”
“No.”, I shook my head. “She had one with her which is great grandmother had given to her as an art….” I stopped speaking all of a sudden. “Shit!”
“I will let you know if there will be any change in the plan. But in every plan, stay prepared and make sure of Eva’s safety. I can’t expect this from Daniel because he will panic first and spoil my whole plan.”, I said before applying my favorite perfume and then loaded my jacket with as much weapon as I could and also all over my clothes. It had been a week since Julia’s death. Who knows, even vampires would be planning to attack tomorrow?
“Are these pills also your weapon?” he asked, showing me a small bottle with pills. It was the bottle of sleeping pills so that no one could doubt it.
“Kind of.”, I replied, taking it from his hand.
I was about to leave when he held my hand.
“You can handle this, right? Or should I accompany you?” he asked in a worried tone.
“Don’t worry. I can handle this, and I’m not planning to die a virgin.” I joked about bringing a smile on his smile, but he didn’t smile at all.
“You better not.”, he warned before slamming his lips over mine again.

At first, I sneaked out of my current pack easily, and then after running in my wolf form, I was near my dad’s pack already. As expected, the news of me becoming the new Alpha was all over the pack.
‘I have heard that Aleena is going to be the new Alpha, not Evangeline.’
‘It meant this pack won’t be getting merged with stone moon pack.’
‘I’m thinking of leaving this pack. I have heard Aleena is selfish and cruel, unlike her father. I wonder what she will do with us.’
‘Yes! I have also heard that she doesn’t treat anyone below Alpha rank with disrespect. She will treat Omega like us like her slave or worst.’
‘She’s dark and mysterious.’
‘But she’s also the daughter of Alpha Williams. I think a part of her will have his soft gesture and kind nature.’
‘We can’t ignore the fact that she is smart, cunning, and strong. She can take our pack to a new height which Alpha Williams couldn’t.’
‘She was a bully when she was a kid. I’m not sure about her nature now. So, I will stay here with my family for a while. If she mistreats us, then I will ask Alpha Daniel to take me into his pack.’
‘I will be staying here. No matter who will be the new Alpha. This pack is my home, and I’m not leaving from here until I die.’
‘I don’t think Aleena will be a bad Alpha, and we should give her a chance before protesting against her. Not when Beta Stephen will be her side.’
‘I can’t agree with you more. Everyone saw that day how logically he fought for his mate. I don’t think anything bad can happen with his presence in the pack.’
‘He is a beta, but he is an Alpha blood.’
‘Until when this nepotism will go on? We have to kill Eva and her unborn child, along with Aleena. This pack needs a new Alpha.’

I found something I was looking for! And I couldn’t help but smirk.
‘Thinking about a new Alpha is fine, but why kill both the Alpha heirs?’
‘So that there wouldn’t be anyone rightful heir of this pack. This pack needs a man as the new Alpha, not some weak females and their mate.’
‘Yes! Until when only Alpha heir will get a chance to be an Alpha. Even people like us need that chance. I have already planned everything as per Alpha Liam’s suggestion. Not just the Alpha heir but also all the trusted people of Alpha Williams who will be loyal to the next Alpha, whether it will be Evangeline or Aleena. The plan is simple and short. Once all the people are gathering on the main ground, Alpha Liam will send a troop of his trained warriors in this pack by changing their scent, and then they will first support acting like a pack members and then attack both bitches.’
I heard the complete plan of them and thought to check on Noah as well. He was the Beta of the pack and also going to my backbone. I need to check whether I could trust him blindly or not! I already heard the betrayal story of Gamma and Delta of the pack, along with a few warriors.
‘Leia, you are going to be in a deep slumber for an hour.’, I said, taking out one of the pills in my hand.
‘I hate that these sleeping pills put me the sleep. She grumbled. ‘Anyway, just be careful and don’t die without my power because we are still virgins.’
‘Copied.’, I said before eating and then sleeping pills. I chewed it for a while and looked at my body which started getting invisible. Suppose these pills had the power to make me invisible. It also had the ability to send my wolf into a deep slumber.

“What’re you thinking, Son?”,
“That Aleena is going to be the new Alpha of the pack.”, Noah responded in not such a happy tone. It looked like the news of me becoming an Alpha was going to keep all the pack members awake. Thankfully, the duo of father and son were sitting in the living room of the packhouse and enjoying their drinks together.
What are they doing here anyway?
This was the Alpha families’ area.

“How does that matter to you? It’s not that you want an Alpha position.”

I had to use the advantage of my situation before time ran out. I had to kill those bastards who were planning against me. I pulled out my gun and loaded it with silver bullets.
