CHAPTER 106
MONTANA'S POV
Sean had said to me that I should not fight my fate now and just accept it. He said if I did everything Luke asked unquestionably, then everything would go smoothly, and I will not get hurt.
"Did he send you?", I asked Sean in disbelief. Everything he said just kept annoying me, and none of it was even about getting me out of this place.
But advising me on how to get used to it and blah blah. What's that? Never, it will never happen, I will never submit.
"Did Luke send you to come and try to make me do whatever he wants me to do?"
"It will be better for us if you do. Look, I do not want to hurt you Montana, so please, it is not a time for you to play hero," Sean said to be emotionless. I could not feel a thing in his voice.
As he turned to leave, the anger inside me increased, and I seized the opportunity, fueled with a mix of adrenaline, betrayal, and anger.
I moved with such speed as my muscles tensed, and I launched myself forward.
On noticing my advancement, Sean turned, but it was too late for him to comprehend what I was about to do because the minute he turned, I blessed him with a blow straight at his nose.
My vision blurred with rage as I gave him strikes after strikes. I would never have thought this day would come, but he has left me no choice and if he does not get me out of here, he is going nowhere.
He staggered back a bit and tried to throw some blows but they were weak. He managed to hit me once though, and I screamed from anger, wiping my lips as I returned the favor.
"Maybe I should beat out those thoughts that made you betray us out of your head," I said to him as we fought.
Me blocking his blows as he kicked my stomach. He was about to kick my face when I fell down on my knees, groaning from where he had hit me on my stomach.
But quickly I caught his leg in my head and used my elbow to smash into it hard. That should hurt for a few days.
"Fuck, woman", Sean screamed from pain, Stumbling back wards.
My powers may be controlled, but my fighting skills are not.
As I rushed to him to take him out, he said something that I had never thought about, he said, "You better think about your kids, before you do anything else."
I froze in my spot as my breath caught in my throat, and fear gripped my heart.
"You wouldn't", the words came out in a hoarse whisper, "You wouldn't threaten me with my kids, they are like your niece and nephew."
Sean smiled smugly, confident that he was in control now, "I already did."
As he left, he threw over his shoulder, "Don't forget what I have told you, I know you will do the right thing. If you cooperate, no harm will come to Zane or Zendaya. The choice is yours."
In saying that, he was gone, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
My legs felt like lead as I collapsed to the ground, the weight of everything happening crushing me. I was now totally powerless against the threat looming over my children.
I could not let them suffer anymore. The realization left me feeling utterly defeated.
I was so exhausted, my body trembled with exhaustion and fear as I sank to my knees, the cold floor pressing against my skin.
The thought that Lincoln might be working with Sean on finding me, not knowing Sean is part of this and him being around my kids.
I-
I felt as though I was drowning in a sea of despair. I bowed my head in resignation, knowing that I had no choice but to comply with whatever demands they would give to me.
I closed my eyes. I just could not think of any other way around this, seeing as there was no possible way to reach anyone I could trust.
It also dawned on me that Sean might have been the one who alerted Luke to me coming back with Lincoln from our honeymoon.
It is just so difficult to believe Sean did something like this. The more I thought about this and everything, the more stressed I became.
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
I could not sleep the entire night, I was so worried. There was literally no trace of my wife anywhere.
How could that even be possible? No one knew where she was, did not even see her, nothing.
"Sean?", I called out, reaching downstairs, expecting him to be there with some kind of information or something that could help.
But he was not. I had to wait for some hours, with my kids trying to make me eat, and I just had to put on a fake smile to not make them worry more.
"Sorry Lincoln, I have been trying to get as much information as I can," Sean said to me as he finally walked into the dining room, after being directed to where I was.
I nodded, frustrated, "It is alright, please, sit and eat," I said and ordered for the chefs to bring some food for him to eat.
"We will find her", Sean assured me, "Just try to stay strong."
I nodded and took a long deep breath, "Do you have any suspects though?I want to hear your opinion."
"Hmm let's see, as for Luke, I do not think he has her, I have had spies watch him, and he is all on the clear," Sean said as he paused and then continued, "But what about Ava? You both did not end well, and maybe she has come back for revenge, taking Montana away from you."
I gave a small nod of understanding, "I had completely forgotten about Ava, I never thought about that."
"It is easy to blame the ones who always show us the evil they can do and forget about the snakes, who just crawl and take what they want, without being noticed," Sean told me as his food was served and he started eating.
He paused on his food for a few seconds and asked, "So, what should we do about Ava?"
