CHAPTER 117
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
So, that was Luke's plan all along. He wanted us to be weak, tired for this battle that has lasted now for close to an hour and when our shield wall is shaky and not strong enough to withstand so much force, he unleashes something forcefully.
And just as he wanted, it did exactly what he intended to do. Our shield wall was not broken, and his warriors slaughtered mine as they were still trying to get themselves from the impact.
"QUICK", I shouted, forcing myself up and ignoring the bleeding on my head and arm, this is nothing, "FIGHT! GET YOUR ASSES UP, I COMMAND YOU!", I shouted, wanting to motivate my warriors, fuel them with purpose.
"WE WILL NOT LET KILL US OR TAKE ANYTHING THAT BELONGS TO US," I said as they started getting up quicker, cheering, howling and agreeing with me.
"NOW FIGHT BACK!", It came out so cold as we now ran towards our enemies as they ran to us and clashed.
The fighting went on and when I noticed the ice that was about to drop from the sky, they were like arrows but instead of arrows, they were ice.
Quickly I alerted my team, "Take cover from the sky, SHIELD! PROTECT YOURSELVES!", I ordered as we shielded.
The drops of ice on our shields were strong and forceful. It had managed to reach some of my warriors, killing them off.
It had already dawned on me that we were losing, I had already lost so much of my warriors and when I scanned the area, I could see a new set of Luke's warriors.
So that means, the warriors he came with were not all he was with.
Sean!
Sean might have dropped some weaknesses…,"Arghhhh", I grunted angrily and announced to my warriors, "More are coming, ARCHERS GO TO YOUR SPOT, WE WILL COVER FOR YOU!"
And we did just that.
As we fought, I also got hurt by a sword on my head when an arrow took out the person. I turned to my sister who was smiling and winked, "Hello brother."
I nodded, thanking her for the nice save. She could handle herself as we started fighting.
Then Aunt Calista joined in, side by side with me, "Where have you been? And where is our backup?"I asked her as she used her magic to drop some of our enemy warriors down.
"I needed to take care of something, and they are on their way," She told me, "I need to get to Montana, I have to be close to her."
I looked at Aunt Calista, "I know you are powerful and all, but they are more than us now, and you will be killed before you get to her."
"And that is why I will need your help and a few warriors, I must stop whatever he is using to control her, that is the only way."
Aunt Calista did have a point though, "Okay, this is what we would do!"
MONTANA'S POV
I was feeling angry and weak, he was taking everything from me and the fact that he was doing it forcefully made it worse despite the pain I still tried resisting.
"Resist all you want, your power is now mine", he would say, making me do things, kill my people, bring down houses and windows, destroy my pack.
As he kept going, finally letting me go and screaming out joyfully, "Victory will be ours!"
His warriors also chanted. I was already losing hope, it did not look like Lincoln would win.
"Montana", I heard someone say, I turned around, but there was no one, "Montana", I heard the voice say again, "Stupid girl, I am in your head, do you know recognize my voice."
Oh, Moon, Goddess!
"Aunt Calista", I called out in my mind, "How were you able to get into my head?", I asked her, shocked because I had no idea what was done to me, I could not reach anyone through my mind anywhere else, and I thought that would be possible if I am in the pack, but it was not.
"I severed what they used to block your mind," she said, "But that is not relevant right now, look down, and you will see a knife close to you, Be Strong Montana, You are the Queen, Free Yourself."
And then I felt her leave my head. As Luke was distracted by the victory he was seeing, I fell to the ground as I was weak, he did not seem to notice, and I started cutting on the rope that bound my ankle.
I was this close to finishing it when he turned and said, "Get up you lazy creature, you have many disasters to cause."
I acted like I was weak.
"Maybe I am being a bit hard on you. You have helped me win this war," He said, "Let me help you Montana, see what we can do together," he said to me, "We will be unstoppable, just join me, and you won't have to be in any pain."
He outstretched his hand for me to take, another way for it to mean, I had joined him and would be on his side.
Perhaps he is right. Possibly I should just join him, and he will not treat me like a slave, but instead love me again.
I looked up at him, my eyes softening as I reached out for his hands. He smiled at me and I smiled back softly.
As soon as I got close to his hands, I let the knife I hid there show and cut off his finger where the ring was embedded.
Luke screamed out in pain of losing one of his fingers, staggering backwards as I got to my feet, my ankles free. I had succeeded in cutting the last end of the rope at the same time he almost caught me.
I raised my hand in the air and said, "Aunty, Now!"
"Te hij oit pequ serot", I heard her say as the bracelet embedded in my wrist fell out.
I picked it up with Luke's cut out finger with the ring on it, iced them up and then crushed them into pieces.
Luke, on the other hand, was stopping the bleeding from his fingers and I stood in front of him, my eyes glowing ice blue as my hands were raised slightly at my sides.
"I told you, you will die by my hands, and you said today is not that day while laughing at me mockingly", I uttered to Luke, anger and rage, remembrance of what his pack did to my family adding up to my anger.
My hands were now facing down on the chariot as ice reached to Luke's leg, and he kept pulling to escape, but my ice just kept going up and up on his body, icing every part until it finally got to his face.
He was already choking and out of breath, his blood flow should have stopped by now, his eyes begging me to let him go, pleading for mercy, "That day is certainly today!"
Boom. He exploded, parts of his body littered everywhere.
