CHAPTER 149
AUTHOR'S POV
Zendaya could see her brother was happy for her, but would he be when he learns that her mate is human?
But before telling him, she wanted to see Alexander, just In case, Zane would not let her if he finds out her mate is human, and she would not know when she would be able to come out and meet with him, "Before I say more, I need to ask for a favor. If you do this for me, I will forgive you totally for your betrayal."
"I do not like the sound of this," Zane said, eyeing his sister suspiciously.
"Can't you just do this one thing for me? Do I really have to beg you to- just never mind", Zendaya said, her happy face changing, "Just forget it, I guess I can't ask you for anything."
"Stop, you can, you know you can, but it better not be risky", Zane sighed, falling for her trap with love, "Fine tell me."

Zane had agreed, and now Zendaya was on her way to Alexander's house. She was going to surprise him, she just wanted to see him for a short while before going back.
She had managed to convince Zane, and he gave her a certain time and a place to meet him. She was so happy that she squeezed her brother in a tight hug, saying how much she adored him before leaving for Alexander's house.
She was finally there and was quietly heading to the door, she also got something for him, from one of the places she and Zane went too.
She had promised Zane she would tell him everything when she got back.
So, as she headed to the front door, that was when she heard it. And if she was not mistaken, it was the same sound she had heard on the first day when she came to Alexander's house, the same sound when she was leaving.
She thought to ignore it, her senses already on alert as her eyes became sharper, then she heard it again.
"I know I should not be curious but…", She looked at the front door and then back at where the sound was coming from, and so she decided to follow the sound.
Following the sound, she found herself in front of a building, which looked like a room but in a building form, big and spacious. The way it was built was quite interesting and somewhat unnoticeable and noticeable at the same time.
She heard the sound again as she got closer and now was at the front door, she tried to open the door when she noticed it was locked.
"A little magic should do the trick," she said to herself, looking everywhere begging, taking the padlock in her hands, icing it and breaking it.
The first thing she saw when she opened the door was definitely not what she wanted to see, "Uncle Sean!"
Zendaya's heart broke at the sight. She almost lost focus, she knew it was him, he looked like he was in pain, marks all over his body, she quickly rushed to him, "Uncle Sean, it's me, Zendaya…why are you here? What's going on?"She tried to get rid of the silver, but it burnt her hand. The padlock was wrapped with plastic, but this was different.
Maybe her ice could help, but as she was able to use her powers, Alexander's father walked in, "Zendaya?", he said surprised, holding something in his hand, "I thought there was a thief, and it happened to be you. What are you doing here? You know you should not be wandering around right?", he sounded as if he wanted her to be scared.
"Why is he tied up?", Zendaya asked.
Sean was trying to give her a sign to run and that he knew about them, but he was too weak and Zendaya was not paying attention but instead waiting for an answer from Wilson.
"You really should learn how to mind your own business and not stick your nose into other people's business. You are still breathing because my son likes you, leave now and do not speak about it," Wilson said to her.
"Not without him, if I am to leave them I am going with him", Zendaya argued. She knew she could take Wilson down, but what she did not know was if Alexander knew all about what his father was doing, "If you do not let me go with this man, then I will tell Alexander everything I have seen here", Zendaya's threatened as she also wanted to find out if Alexander knew anything.
She had gotten the hang of things, she knew that Alexander's father knew what her Uncle Sean, who was cuffed to the bed was.
"Kids these days", Wilson groaned and Zendaya noticed he was going to attack her and so, unknowingly her eyes flashed from anger as she also went in to attack, but Wilson was faster than her, he had the shirt tranquilizer gun and soon she shot her.
He noticed that just the way he needed to shoot Sean down, was the same way he had to shoot Zendaya down, plus the eyes, "You are one of them," Wilson said as he got closer to Zendaya who was falling to the ground, "I wonder what my dear son will think about this. When he finds out, the girl he is interested in is nothing but a monster."
Zendaya fell unconscious, and her heart skipped from fear when she heard the last thing Wilson had said to her before everything turned back.
When she woke up, she was tied up and Wilson was injecting something inside her. Her insides felt like they were burning up, and she groaned from the immense pain, "Arghhhhh", she groaned through gritted teeth, pulling on the cuffs which also burnt her wrist.
She noticed that she was on a bed, the same as Sean's and in the same position. Her bed was raised and, "Alexander," she whispered, she felt like her whole world was about to come to an end.
"Is it true?", was the first thing he asked her, searching her eyes, hoping that she did not lie or deserve him, "My dad explained everything about you and your kind, I don't understand how that is even possible, is it true Zendaya, please tell me the truth."
"Y-yes," she answered weakly, "It is true that I am a werewolf."
Alexander scoffed sadly and nodded his head, "This is why you never let me come to your house or know the exact place you live, the full suspicious acts and hiding, changing topics, this was the reason," he said to himself, finally understanding everything.
"I am so sorry Alex, I never meant to lie to you, I was just waiting for the right time," Zendaya said to him, "I was scared, terrified of your reaction."
"Terrified??? You are a fucking monster, I kissed a monster, I fell in love with a MONSTER!!!", he screamed at her, "And you lied to me, knowing fully well how much I detest lies and deceivers."
Zendaya all tied up even shook from fear and closed her eyes, tears filled up her eyes and she sniffed and looked away, "please", was the only thing she could mutter, she never wanted him to see her as a Monster.
When she finally looked at him, his face was filled up with disgust, anger, she probably should not have looked at him because her heart started hurting, "Alex please, I am so sorry, everything else is true, I never lied to you, I just did not give out too many details or information about myself."
"I just can't be with you right now, I just can't", with that said, he turned and left.
Zendaya called out for him, even though she was weak, "ALEXANDER PLEASE… ALEXANDER!!! ALEXXXX", she started sobbing, tears rolling down her eyes, this was not how she thought things would go.
"And him calling me a monster", she thought, crying out loudly as she could not control her tears, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry…", she kept apologizing, sniffing and begging, even though he was not there anymore.
Four days now and Zendaya was looking up in this room without food or water, Alexander had not even visited her for once, and she had to watch his father use Sean as a lab rat, cutting him and all that.
The terror in her eyes as she was forced to watch what was going to happen to her next by Wilson, the screams from her Uncle Dean. She also thought about Zane and her parents, if they were looking for her, if they were close by to save her.
So many thoughts ran through her head as she got so weak, she needed water, food, anything.
"I am sorry I could not protect you, I have failed your father once again", Her Uncle Sean muttered to her.
"No Uncle, we are sorry that we never noticed the torture you were going through, even if you are an outcast, no one deserves this kind of torture", Zendaya said to him, her voice cracked, "Just hang on please, we will f-figure something o-out, just reserve your energy."
It was so painful to watch, the scars her uncle Sean had on his body now, will they ever heal? Or just serve as a remembrance to the torture he had received that will hunt him forever?
Zendaya could not use her powers, she was too weak to summon and whatever the stuff, Wilson kept injecting her with, made her a lot more weak. As she concentrated on staying alive, the door opened.
It was Alexander.
She was so surprised to see him. He walked to her, shocking her.
"I brought food and water, I will feed them to you", he said calmly as he proceeded to feed her the food but she shook her head and requested that he taste it.
As he did, he asked her, "Satisfied? Open up."
Zendaya did as she was told and he fed her and gave her water to drink. Oh finally, she had gotten a little of herself back, "Thank y-you", she said sincerely as Alexander got up.
"Why?", she asked him, she just had to ask him, "Why are you here feeding me, giving me water."
"Because it was all an act", he finally told Zendaya.
