Arthur dropped Mogana gently in the room that she once occupied, but she looked too pale already.
"Why is she not healing? Marinara asked, looking all worried.
"She doesn't want to heal ". Jayden replied, while Blair walked back into the room to get her mother and friends, but to her surprise, when she got there, her friends were tied up and her mother was no where to be found, she immediately raised an alarm, which sent Jayden straight to her, she was so furious that even Jayden got scratched in the fire.
"What is going on? She heard him ask, even while nursing the burn from the fire, emanating from her side.
"Look! She could only say, as she made way for him to look inside the room.
I knew I couldn't trust that witch, but I am going to deal with her this time". She says and is about to leave, when she was pulled back by the hand.
"No, please stay, let me go". He says, knowing that her anger could make her do more than just consuming them. With his powers, he could find her in half the time, so that he could stop whatever it is, before it is too late.
He only needed to think of Mrs Fire, so as to know where she is and transport himself there.
Blair wanted so much to refuse, but she just decided to obey him, and stay back, for truely, she may not be able to control herself, since it is something that have to do with her mother.
Jayden found Astra, and she was not just holding the older woman, she also tied her up.
"How dare you! He yelled.
"Don't come any closer, or I will sleet her throat! She threatens.
"You will do no such thing". Jayden retorted.
He knows why she is doing what she is doing, she is very worried about the threat Blair gave her earlier, but taking her mother is not a way for her not to carry out the threat.
"I will not ask you why you are doing what you are doing, I will just order you to untie her, and let her go. You know that if Blair had come here herself, she would have consumed you herself".
"I know she will still want to consume me, and that is why I took her mother, I could use her as a bait.
"You know it won't work, she is too powerful now, but she still has a sweet heart, you should have begged her, so that she forgives you". Jayden was so angry, that she spoke angrily to her, but little did he know that Blair was already in their midst, she untied her mother, with fire, then made herself known to the both of them.
"I would have forgiven you, but taking my mother, was an insult". She scratched her face with her paws, hugging her, inorder to consume her, that even before Astra could understand what was really happening, she was already on fire. She begged and cries, but no one paid attention to her.
Jayden waited for her to calm down, before going to her, to catch her. Whenever she gets angry, she uses lots of her power, and it weakens her.
"I thought you said you would stay back? He asked, still wondering, if he is looking at his once gentle Blair.
"I know what I promised, but since it didn't work that way, I decided to do it the other way". She says adamantly, while Astra was still burning, trying to find the nearest stream, so as to quench the fire. As if that was not enough, Blair had to put her in the middle, of a bigger fire, so that she doesn't find anyway to escape, while she took her mother by the hand, but the way she was looking at her, she could tell that her mother have questions for her.
"Blair, what happened to you? She asked. She needed to ask, for she doesn't understand what have been said so far, all she knows is that her daughter is acting different.
"Mother, it is still me, don't worry about me, your grandchiid doesn't seem to like bad people". She says, as she turned back to look at the burning Astra.
She won't die, she might heal, but it will take a while, and then, she will fight her for real". Jayden joined them, holding her by the hand, so that they could all transport back to the palace together, but when they got there, they met an even bigger issue. They could only see gloomy faces.
His father rushed to meet him half way, he is unsure if he should tell him, what had happened, or if he should let him see it for himself, but even after meeting him half way, he still could not say anything, it was the Queen that told him, what he seem to already know.
"She is dead". He knew who they were talking about, and so he walked towards where she was kept, he went on his knees, held out her hand and wept in them.
His mother's thought filled his heart.
She may not pass as a wonderful woman, but he still needed her Alive, for she is his mother, she gave birth to him, she brought him inti this world, she named him, so she will be missed.
Since all those around are only family members, he felt free to cry Infront of them.
Blair felt a little tears in her eyes too. Though Mogana was never really a mother to her, but she never wish her to die, she is still the mother of the one man she loves so dearly, and if he is sad because of the death of his mother, he will be too.
He went to him, and tries consoling him, but he refused to be consoled, he cried uncontrollably, bringing tears to the eye of everyother person around.
Soon Blair was able to take him back to the room, pending when they will be ready to get Mogana's body back to her cave, so that she can be buried like a queen that she really is.
Blair gathered Jayden in her arm, and for the first time in a long time, she slept like. queen, she has no grudge in her heart, she was peaceful and her baby felt relaxed too.
