ELLA :
I see a tall shadow all black, it has a very dangerous aura, everything around us stops even the air. I look straight at the shadow and suddenly I see two red signs that must be his eyes glowing evilly under the dark.
The shadow is so huge that I wasn’t able to make out his body.
“Ella…” I hear a loud dangerous voice that comes from the shadow.
“Dark Lord,” I say firmly with no fear in my eyes.
“I am not the one who negotiates with someone…” He begins, “But… I will give you an option, give me back the devil’s soul and leave. No one will ever touch you and neither look for you. My word.”
He throws a huge offer to me and I look at him with a poker face.
“Or…?” I ask, raising my brow.
“Or… I will kill you and take back what’s mine.” The voice echoes from the shadow.
“He is not yours,” I say through gritted teeth. I am starting to get angry now.
“Neither yours, You are a human.” He reminds me and I scoff in response.
“Not really.” I raise my hands that have got flames and then shout, “Run, Alex.”
At my command, Alex runs like a thunderbolt. His speed as an animal creature is impressive and I raise my hands in the air feeling the power inside me and then straightly aim for the Dark Lord.
Suddenly, the shadow vanishes in the air and I am aiming at nothing, I look around and I am all alone until I hear a groan from Alex.
HOWL
I turn and see Alex in the distance. He is lying on the ground, all covered with blood. I rush to him and suddenly I feel a hit on my back.
BOOM
I fell heavily to the ground and couldn't get up as someone was pressing me down firmly.
"Hah... The devil, Gael, had always been an admirable soul. Now, I know, why." I hear a dark voice and flinch as he mentions "Gael"
He can't take away Gael from me, he is mine.
I close my eyes and try to focus, focus on everything around me, the air, the leaves, the howl, and then suddenly I sense something different and I know exactly what it is.
A sharp thing gets close to my neck but before it could slaughter me I hold it firmly on the edge.
"Ahhh..." Shouting angrily I break that sharp thing into two and then sensing the Dark Lord's presence I strike my power towards it and I hear a groan.
I smirk knowing that I have aimed at the right place. The Dark Lord had been hiding in shadow but my senses were able to find his presence.
"Show yourself, Dark Lord," I shout arrogantly.
And there everything gets quiet again but this time I waited patiently for him to attack and he did and it wasn't an attack but attacks.
The rain of swords showers on me and I try my best to push them away from me. I am fast to push them away no matter how many they are. Taking a sword in my hand I jump and spin as I hit that sword to the others and they go straight towards the shadow.
BOOM
I hear an explosion and everything vanishes from my sight, the swords, the Dark Lord, everything.
I was supposed to look for The Dark Lord but a whimper from Alex stops me as I run to him immediately, "Alex." I touch his furry face and caress him to comfort him.
He whimpers in pain and my heart feels his pain for the very first time that I start to shed tears.
"I'm sorry, Alex, I was never able to understand your love for me," I tell him guiltily, and he makes a purring sound, releasing his soul from his wolf form.
"Alex." I cry out when the wolf changes into his human form and I see Alex who is badly wounded from the Dark Lord's attack.
"Ella.." He breathes and I cover his mouth immediately.
"Don't say, I know everything... I will save you... I will save you." I tell him and then looking around I rush towards the lake to bring some water for Alex but when I reach near the lake I see something unexpected.
I see the back of Gael, he is bent down and washing his face from the lake's water. I stare at him in disbelief and with joy that he is able to stand at last on his own and even walk towards the lake on his own.
I want to rush to him, to hug him and kiss him but then suddenly I notice something and my hair stands in panic as I yell his name loudly and then rush towards him. "Gael..."
I jump and shield his back from my body as the swords pierce into my back making me wince from the immense pain. "Gael.." I let out a low cry and then fell heavily to my knees.
THUMP
I feel the warm blood rushing out of my cuts and as I look up I see Gael turning towards me, looking at me with horrified eyes, I smile and with my last wit of power I manage to say, "I LOVE YOU."
THUMP
And heavily I fall to the side, my face hits the ground, and my cuts give me an immense pain that wouldn't let me barely breathe, this is my end, this is how it's going to end.
I see my hands that are numb and then close my heavy lids as I couldn't bear this pain anymore.
I am Gone.
